Customer service is deplorable. I have visited this post office on many occasions. I live in the downtown area. Every time Ive been in the service was very cold and robotic, but today it was down right bad! When I walked in there was no greeting of any kind. One other person was at the counter and it was 5 minutes to closing. Joe, behind the counter says to me, "What have you got? I replied, "I need a priority label for this package." Joe says, "Well youre going to have to be fast because we are closing in five minutes!" I was aware of the time. I rushed home from work to get to the PO by 5:00 because I know it closes at 5:00 PM. During the 60 seconds it took me to fill out the address on the label he looked at his watch 3 times and gave me this anxious "come on and hurry up" look while letting out several exasperated sighs. He was very curt and not at all nice. I dont care if you are the last customer of the day, you still deserve common courtesy. If you dont like people Joe then you shouldnt work in a job that requires you to interact with them! Cheryl A.

USPS on 2nd in Kent could possibly be the worst postal building to do business in that Ive seen. Today after standing in line with only one person working, "Ronnie", I continued to watch her berate, humiliate and demean each and every person coming to her window. This includes an elderly woman who could barely walk and didnt fill out her paperwork just so, a young, polite gentleman trying to pay his student loans, and he continued to apologize to her (clearly no apology was necessary at all after she continued to be horrifically berating to him) and myself, who after her giving completely confusing instructions on how to fill out registered letter paperwork, told me I "should have done it right the first time." Not that anything will every get done about this, but without a doubt, I am going to the main website of USPS and climb to the top about this woman. She needs to be fired. The general public trying to politely mail through our USPS should never be treated this way.

TERRIBLE customer service. I tried to call the Covington Post office for an hour off and on but they wouldnt pick up the phone. So I tried this post office instead. The man told me that he could be helping people in his zip code but instead he was stuck helping me, he then told me to call someone else and hung up on me. I called again, asking for a supervisor, and he screamed at me, told me he was the only supervisor and abruptly hung up on me once again. I called a third time, and someone with a very strong indian accent answered and told me he was the supervisor! HA! So I told him what happened and he wouldnt comment at all. He just said "How can I help you". And I said I wanted to make a complaint. He kept asking for my tracking number and wouldnt listen to my complaint! He just said "Ok, whatever you say" and then hung up. I am appalled. Total disrespect for paying customers.

There are two service windows in this facility. When I entered to mail two small packages at about 4pm on Wednesday June 3rd, both windows were closed and the USPS employee said Id have to wait a half and hour to get service because someone had brought in a large amount of business packages to be mailed. The packages were stacked on the floor and more were coming in. The emplyee used a stern voice as if it were my fault? I just stood there for a minute contemplating this - there was no back up? No "excuse me Mister 100 packages, while I quickly help another customer"? I know this is a small branch, but it seems there should be a back up person, I didnt appreciate having to drive up to 240th street, quite a ways out of my way!

They are disrespectful. The manager there over talks you then hangs up on you. I have put in a complaint to the Consumer Advocate Department in Washington DC not to mention the OIG. The carrier delivers my mail if they FEEL like it. I had a certified letter get sent back because they were too lazy to come to my door for a signature. I was told that the carrier is disabled and is not able to stand for long periods of time. While I understand people on disability are entitled to work, (my fiancée is also disabled) why would you give them a route they cant do? I will take this complaint to the hilt. This is my personal business and lively hood that is being affected.

Called and no one answer the phone. Packages keep getting miss-delivered. Had a package went out on delivery and didnt get delivered and based on tracking, my package went to Federal Way sorting facility. Sat there for 2 days and was sent to Seattle sorting facility. Sat there for another day and finally got delivered 5 days later. That was a package sent from Tacoma! This time another package is not being delivered with "undeliverable as addressed ". I called the main USPS customer service and verified my delivery address and they told me to call my local USPS, which no one is answering the phone at 9:30 am!

They dont have their own supplies in Stock and expect the public to order the ITEMS ONLINE and ship to our home (at a fee) to shop from their website rather than having it stocked at their own locations (issue at 3 different usps stores). They will not use another package type to help client ship unless you pay additional for it. They treat clients like crap and expect us to pay more for their issues. No wonder FedEx and UPS make money and all this company does is lose money and cost us taxpayers. They have a number handy for you to complain to.. How sad is that

The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone. I called their Kent facility to inquire about a package (which has been stuck there for 3 weeks) and not only was he loud and disrespectful, but he hung up on me. Ive never received such poor and rude treatment in my life.I personally feel he has no place interacting with the public when he lacks interpersonal skills and costumer service. I hope they restructure their work force and get someone competent to take over. I am disgusted and embarrassed by the way he handles business.

Google deleted my comment this place is the worst, I cant tell if half of my mail is getting stolen always being s few days late, lying about the tracking number and where its at,. And whoever deleted my comment can go screw them selves, Im a paying customer and have had stuff delivered for a long time, but I cant hold back with the Kent usps, they are bad pay the extra money for ups or FedEx people. I forgot to add did you know usps hasnt turned a profit for 10 yrs and has lost over 50billion in tax dollars, and customer money.
