What a wonderful shop to take a chance on! My radiator basically blew up yesterday, and I am kind of new to this area so I blindly was searching for a good repair shop to take my car to and happened to come across Automotive Artistry in a Google search. It had good reviews and was within walking distance of my apartment so I decided take a chance on it. Im so glad I did! They were able to take my car in first thing in the morning. They quoted me much cheaper than the few other shops I called for an estimate. They answered the phone extremely friendly, something Ive noticed is not common in the mechanic industry...usually they are very dry and curt...not this place! They made me feel like I was welcome and didnt make me feel like an idiot when I tried to explain the issue (I am pretty car illiterate lol). I came in this morning and was greeted with a smile and the same friendliness I experienced over the phone! They repaired my radiator, stayed right at the estimated price quote they gave me, and didnt try to charge me for anything unnecessary. They even mentioned there was a slight leak in my calipers and suggested I check the last shop that had done my brakes to see if there was still a warranty on the work before I went ahead and paid a bunch of money to get them replaced, I was so impressed with their honesty and the fact they didnt just try to sell me on getting them done then and there! I will never be taking my car to any other shop again. The gentleman at the front desk was even a New Yorker like myself, and it made me feel right at home! Definitely take your car here for any repairs, you wont be sorry!

I had a great experience today. My car started giving me problems with starting and accelerating past the 2.25 rpm line. I tried a couple things myself, and I wasnt able to fix it as the problem came back three days later. Fridays are the only days I have off during the week, so I called and spoke with Allen. He was able to fit me in thankfully, but this wont always be the case, and you will need to call early in the morning for the best chance. He was up front about everything, and he was great to talk to until my husband was able to come get me. I could tell they do their job for the job and not to scam people which seems to be an issue for other people looking for mechanics. The price was good, and thats the thing I was really worried about. Thankfully, he found the problem, fixed it, and he let me know everything else wrong with my car, gave me the quote for those items and told me if I wanted to fix them in the future to let him know. I didnt feel pressured to do them then, but he also let me know realistically how effective they would be for my cars performance, and he didnt act like they were needing to be done that second. He was honest, friendly, and I really am glad I picked this shop! Ill be back Allen. Save me a convo!

They have always been great about repairs but today they went above and beyond. I took a motor mount to them to have a bolt welded back in place. They did it quicker than they said they would and for half the price they quoted me. I thought that was great, but then I got home and looked at it and Matt had greased the threads on BOTH bolts as well as putting new nuts on them. Its not a huge deal overall but it shows the attention to detail and focus on service that they always strive for. This is one of those places you can trust to tell you the truth about what your car needs and how to get it done.

I have been using this shop since 2004, before it became "Automotive Artistry". The current owners and manager were working in the shop at that time. I have trusted them to maintain and/or make major repairs to (at least) four different cars that we have owned. I value the fact that I can ask and receive an opinion from them -- whether it is regarding a potential car purchase or whether a given repair is worth the investment. When repairs are required, there has always been clear communication as well as advice on other repairs that can/should be done economically at the same time.

The "Automotive Artistry" team is the most reliable, caring and dependable automobile repair company for me. No job is too big or small for them to take undertake. I feel at home with the honesty and warm relationship as a customer even when it is not a scheduled service.The cost of repairs is reasonable, and prioritized to meet my budget. I would put 0 but wont let me......i used to go here for everything I trusted them but now that I found out they rip people off we was told by Allen and his mechanics that we had a couple of things wrong and was going to cost about 2k to fix..... well we moved out of state and went to a really trusted honest mechanic and they told me that everything Allen and his mechanics told us was wrong. So Im here to tell people if you go here make sure and get a second and even third opinion before paying for something you probably dont even need...

They took the time to talk over the phone before the appointment. We had an estimate from a chain automotive shop that our daughter took the car to first, but that other estimate was very high and didnt seem right. Automotive Artistry found the problems for less money and they were accurate in diagnosis (unlike the other place). They were courteous and professional. We have moved a lot and it is always hard right place that you can trust. Automotive Artistry is a good place to go for car repairs.

I had my truck towed to them thinking that the engine was pretty much blown. They received it right at closing time, but the next morning they gave me a call letting me know that they found the problem. I was told up front what was wrong and how much it would cost me. They also let me know that something else was causing me an issue and gave me the option of them fixing it. I got a great warranty on parts and labor and will most definately be using them again should something else go wrong.

These guys are awesome. They picked up my non-running car, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it all in one day. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. They cared about me and my car. With their "mission statement" on the wall it shows that they care more about the customer and keeping long term clients, than making a big sale. Their workmanship and knowledge is both excellent. I would recommend these guys to anyone needing their car taken care of.

Small shop with friendly, trustworthy staff. Oil change takes a little longer than Jiffy Lube but its worth it. No one tried to sell me anything I didnt need. In fact, they told me about a problem I had and gave me an estimate but didnt force it down my throat or anything. An oil change is about $30. I have had terrible experiences at both Jiffy Lube and Midas so I will take my car here from now on.
