First, we tried to set up service by calling the 800 number. The technician was supposed to call so he could come by and check out the availability of service at the new location. The tech did not call first, so was not able to get on the property, but said no service was available and we would have to do a construction order to have the line brought from across the street. Well, when we went to the property there was a charter box on the house.... REALLY? Then I went in person to the local office and was set up to meet a salesman at the property last Wednesday to schedule service. After letting the salesman know that we had to have service up and running by 6/26. The next day I emailed the salesman for the status of our order and got no response. This morning I called him and when he finally called back several hours later it was to say that because of the work order he cant help me. Why in the world didnt he tell me this last Thursday when i contacted him?? I guess if you cant make a buck then it isnt your problem?!? I am really not impressed with Charters customer service.

You can not call a local store. They have no listed numbers. And when you have a question and have to go through the main number--and deal with the recorded voice that cant understand plain English--then you get somebody that cant help you. Not a good way to treat a person who has been with Charter for as long as it has been in Montgomery, Alabama and was with its predecessor before that for a total of over 40 years. AND, I have never been late on a payment. Charter does is drifting away from customer service. Hate to have to Post this. Thought about it a while and decided I must let people know.

If its not on the computer screen they cant do anything. No idea why a store is needed at all! First they could pull my phone number from Vonage - then they couldnt - so they tried to do a double play vice the triple play I came in for. Not my fault they cant transfer my number- nor is it my desire that they are the only cable company to setve my neighborhood! No I wont do business with them even if it cost me more to stay with DirecTV.

Every time I go to On Demand and choose the program I want to watch the TV screen goes black. I cant watch anything until I "reset" everything. Usually takes 30 minutes to watch anything. Tonight it didnt "reset" so I made the call. Woman was very nice. She "sent the signal". I can now watch TV but it could take 45 minutes for On Demand to "reset". I wanted to watch OD!!! I pay for it but rarely get to watch it. Why doesnt my OD work??????

I dont recommend this company. They are very difficult to cancel. I had the account number, security code (why do they have one?), phone number and address. Need to cancel because we are moving. Only spouses name is on the account, so I cant cancel. Super frustrating. Get the feeling they are stalling--making it difficult to cancel---ugh---just not pleasant. Plus their sports package is not super.

I never really had any complaints with them. The speeds were reliable, and I thought the price was competitive, until I saw an ad for my current provider, with 8x the speed for $5 more. Now Im getting 500Mbps for $65, and the customer service and connection has been spot on. So, shop around before settling on these guys is all Id say.

Good on price, but I guess you get what you pay for... There is "always" a current issue that they are working on in the area. Every time I call, there is always a long wait time. I seriously was hoping Spectrum would have improved on what Charter was... Now on the hunt for another company again.

Cable, Internet & Phone been out for 8hrs now and no one cant come out to Thursday its Tuesday but they just got my payment on Sat. Theye are a rip off.. Im going to Direct I get moreally channels and Internet for a 100 cheaper. Charter is ripping people off..

Technicians left a 4 inch hole in the wall to run one cable did not install a cover plate or anything piss poor job performance this is unacceptable and now I have to spend an hour on the phone talking to a robot to get it fixed
