I live in colonial crest and this is who provides the internet that is included with the rent. We have been having issues with them since day one. First time we called we were told were at the bottom of the totem poll and that it would take a couple of days to get someone out here. They never showed. Customer service is definitely nonexistent. Very adamant about not sending any techs over after the second call. Apparently you are only guaranteed 1 megabit per second, which at the moment we are getting 0. To put that in perspective, the FCC has claimed in order to be considered "high speed Internet" there has to be at least 50 megabits per second of download speed. TL;DR save yourself the headache of this terrible company that provides internet worse than North Korea and try to get another Internet service provider such as AT&T. Also Im doing this on my cellphone since our Internet has completely been shut down harder than Egypt in 2011.

I lived at Colonial Crest and wanted the net switched over so I could get ATT. We tried to get them to talk to us for a few weeks but nothing. The leasing office admitted theyre a garbage company and theyd try to help. Nothing. After calling Bloomington video and data, being super nice on the phone explaining our situation they said weve already called about it. I told them my roommates had but I had not and we hadnt heard anything yet. They told me to stop calling and theyd get to it when they could and hung up. they wouldnt answer the phone when I called them back. I had to threaten to sue CC and that "company" to get them to act. 100% ridiculous that a lawsuit makes them do their job. The second you move in anywhere sponsored by these clowns get AT&T.

It is impossible to get this company to do anything. On average it takes 3-4 calls to get them to come out for service. They make me want to drop DirecTV. If you must have DirecTV for the programming just know what youre getting into. The only reason I still have DirecTV in Bloomingtown is for NFL Sunday Ticket. ----------------------------------------------- BBB Rating Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to an unanswered complaint. The BBB has requested basic information from this company. The BBB has not received a response. Without this, the BBB may not have current information concerning such things as the companys management or its nature of business.

Bloomington Data is the worst company you could choose to go with. My internet goes out several times a week. As an online student Ive suffered greatly. Like when Im in the middle of a test and my Internet stops working so I get a 0 or when I have to hunt down free wifi to go do homework when Id rather be in a quiet environment so I can concentrate. They are never on top of things or put their customers as a priority. Im sick of paying that just screwes me over and makes my life so much harder.

The internet at colonial crest spends more time down than up. They also do not work weekends. So you WILL spend all weekend without internet, which is bad if you have online classes.
