Brighthouse is the way to go if you have the option. We have lived in different north-Indy areas for ~7 years, and have had service with Comcast, AT&T, and Brighthouse. Its impossible to discuss Comcast without using every known swear word a minimum of four thousand times each, and AT&T is only a little better. So Ill have to skip those reviews and get right to Brighthouse. Other reviewers have noted the lack of communication between departments with Brighthouse, which I have also found to be true. But customer service is friendly and helpful, and with only some confusion can quickly remedy the aforementioned problem. Internet is far more reliable than the more expensive competitors. So, in short, not only is Brighthouse an actually GOOD company, but its competition is so horrific that there really is no serious comparison to be made. Go with Brighthouse. Even if you were to have a dozen problems with them, youd still be better off.

Very unreliable service. Ive been basically forced into buying service from bright house because theyre the only available option. Ive only had service with them for about 4 months now and its been terrible. Ive had to have them out to my house 5 or 6 times; I cant seem to go one week without significant outages. Its non stop bad service and not cheap either. I really wish there was more competition in my area to break up the monopoly and provide more reliable service at a more reasonable price. Im tired of paying for internet and cable and only get to use it some of the time. If you have other options, strongly consider them before bright house.

We live right on the edge of of the Bright House service area and were really struggling to get High Speed Data service from anyone (DSL or Cable). Honestly Initial install was poor quality and I was frustrated by packet loss. I called for a Tech to come out. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge. He traced down the problem which required a follow-up visit and a half a day of work with backhoes and a boring machine. A week later, the project was done. My internet is screaming fast without a single blip in over a year. Bright House sure got it right for me.

We had Bright House internet for business and could not maintain a stable connection. Service was helpful, sending out techs multiple times to troubleshoot. Eventually he said there was nothing they could do. We ended up switching providers. During this process, I returned our equipment to this location. The employees were very understanding and helpful with this process. Overall, person to person service was top notch, I just wish I could say the same about their internet reliability.

The worst internet ever since they bought bright house in my area my internet has been horrible. I have been trying to play online games but every time I attempt to it is just way to laggy for me to. If you understand internet information then read this next part. I am constantly losing anywhere from 10%-50% of my packets out and it goes on for at least like 5 hours. It is impossible for me to do anything. Upload speed is a lot better but just connection is absolutely horrid.

installation process is so poor that I had 8 different technicians coming to the house to install and activate my internet service. Each one is very good about not taking on responsibility until the last one, who checked and replaced one bad fitting and I was able to be online. This is 5 days and multiple phone calls to call center and supervisors, waiting on service for more than 8 hours for couple days. Yike

I moved to a new address, and called them to transfer my service. They first said they would do it within 48 hours. But I have waited for 10 days, and still do not have the internet service. I have called them over 10 times, and talked to over 30 representatives. They are not able to anything, can only transfer you to a different department. It is the worst cable company in the world.

I would give Spectrum a -1 star review if possible. Ive experienced bad connectivity for both cable and wifi over the past 4 months. 6 service calls without resolution. Requested a supervisor to come on-site. A rep showed up claiming to be a supervisor but found out later that he wasnt. He promised to rewire my service in May. Well its July and Im still waiting.

Ive never had an issue with service, and only had the basic internet package. It helps that my apartment complex had a point person, who switched out my router for free. Prices increased slightly, but I think it was affordable for what you get. Use VPN when downloading, because youll get copywright notices. BHN may/may not release your info.

A BIG Thank You to Bright House and Jason Brooks! Bright House in Carmel was quick to respond to our call and sent a technician out within the hour! Jason Brooks arrived to troubleshoot and was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the system. He was polite and courteous and had us up and running flawlessly within minutes!

I know its not popular to like your cable provider, but Brighthouse has been great. Theyve been fairly easy to get in touch with customer service and they re-routed my line and trenched it very expediently. Only star off is because they do randomly raise your rate - although im sure most providers do.

Extremely rude, treated me with no respect as a human, also treated me like I was a moron, then told me I had to pay for the router I was trying to return after she told me I couldnt return it there, even though I was told several times by spectrum I could return it there. Completely unacceptable.

The service was just fine, however when I tried to discontinue it because I got a better rate elsewhere, they were SO RUDE! Very disrespectful. I work in the apartment industry and I will not ever be recommending them to my residents because of this persons attitude.

Spectrum is HORRID. Dont expect the WiFi you paid for to work, a refund, or half way decent customer service in the process. Do yourself a favor and use a different company. It would be better to just not have WiFi at all than to use spectrum. Just terrible.

They try, but arent capable of being a monopoly cable provider. Wish this merger with Spectrum would actually get done. Cant watch NFL on my devices because Brighthouse not listed as a provider, only Charter...and my BH login doesnt work with Charter.
