Obscenely over priced,and doesnt work half the time. If you have a problem,they almost refuse to look at it. I contacted them about ours being down for several days,and told them that I didnt want tech support, I wanted them to come out and check the lines.They still made tech support call me,and they confirmed that the lines where the problem.They were flooded with calls in my area after I called.They wanted to charge me for coming out also,thats why I pay the bill every month! I wish AT&T would come in and put these people out of business.Not to mention, I could double my speed for what Im paying now. Awful!!!

Otelco is way to expensive for the internet speed they provide. That is because you have to have a phone line with them. If Charter would expand more in these rural areas where Otelco is the only provider available they would have to come down on there price or go out of business. Charter was available in the city of Blountsville (which is what I had) but I moved down the road a couple miles and am now unable to get it. Charter is way faster and way less expensive. Explore your options before going with Otelco. I did, and it turns out it is still my best and just about only option. Beats nothing I guess.

My Internet keeps going into lag mode. I told them to come out twice now in a month and still havnt seen anyone. First they charge me 80 bucks a month for 4.0mbs witch is a horible price but then if they come out and dont fund anything wrong its a 50 dollar charge. Oh if your scheduled to have your Internet cut off and they dont get it before you pay up they still charge your for disconnect and late fee....fml this company sucks somebody tell the #FCC

Otelco is the only internet and landline provider in my area. They are too expensive. The 1mb is $40-$50 a month when other providers give you more speed for less money. I have a bundle (internet and phone) and am being charged $6.00 a month for a modem rental fee even though I do not use their modem. They say its part of the package and cannot give me a credit for it. Dont use Otelco unless you have to.

I have had internet with otelco for exactly a week. My internet went down Saturday and after tons of calls to otelco, we finally got them to agree to come out. They were supposed to be here this morning but its now 7 p.m. and they are closed. Terrible customer service, terrible internet service.

Way too expensive for the internet speed which rarely gets above 3 Mbps down and 1Mbps up. And thats if you can even keep a connection. Otelco has a monopoly in the area and they know it so they can do pretty much whatever they want to the customers. A terrible company.

Sometimes, it works most of the time it doesnt. I have had them come down to fix it dozens of times but they never do and they dont care to fix it... I sincerely hope they go out of business and are replaced by someone that actually gives a crap about their customers.

Overpriced. Unreliable. Everytime it rains the internet goes down. If there were another provider here I would leave otelco. Otelco has the major part of the county monopolized and they know it. So they take advantage of people.

If I could rate their service with 0 stars I would. Terribly overpriced, very spotty and does not perform at the speeds you pay for. They own rights in our area and are all that is available. would not recomend to anyone.

Its a shame this company gets away with what they do. Very poor service for triple the price of what youd pay anywhere else. Im looking forward to moving out of Oneonta and not having to deal with Otelco anymore.

THE WORST internet or phone service ever...goes out multiple times a week, and never achieve the speeds that you pay for, plus it is priced 3-4 times what any other provider without a monopoly would charge.
