I have had metro net since 2008 or maybe earlier and they have done nothing but cheat me out of my money. starters they were charging me for a box 9.95 that we didnt have and they werent suppose to be, i brought it to their attention just an Im sorry and we will take off your bill, no credit there...then in June of 2014 they had to rewire our cable through our home we were without cable for 21 days still had to pay full month bill....but the girl gave us the starz channel for 3 months for free....to find out over a yr later we were being charged for it almost 7 dollars a month. I never noticed it cause it was on the back of the bill. They said they could only credit me 90 days and take off my bill. I wasnt happy but asked they do that and I would be contacting main office, the BBB and switching companies. I got my new bill today, yes they took the starz channel off but no credit. They are liars, crooks, and dont live up to their word. I have heard they do this stuff all the time so keep real close eye on your bill my bill started 110.00 went to 135.00 and is now 172.00 sad thing is my bill with starz on it last month was 171.14 and this month my bill is 171.80 how did it go up after taking off a charge that was put on my bill with out my authorization????? WATCH THESE CROOKS!!!!!!!

I dont like having to deal with this company. I was very happy with their service in years past. But now I must say they have taken a turn for the worse. I dont wish to ever have service with them again. Charging me for a re-connection fee when I asked multiple times to be placed on auto pay. I was also sold their gigabit speed package and they were never able to deliver the speed I was paying for. I called and complained and was told that due to their fast expanding network it would be years before they could deliver gigabit to residential customers. So why are they still selling this package if they cant deliver the speeds they are promising their customers. Looking at other options Comcast is not much better of a company but I have never had them lie to me about the speeds they claim to provide. They currently offer speeds greater than Metronet at a lower price. I think I will be taking my business there from now on.

Apparently if you sign up for recurring payments they just try to take it out of your account when ever its convenient for them with out letting the customer know. For example my due date is the 25th of ever month but they tried to take it on the 19th How ever when there is not enough money in my account they just shut my services off on the 26th. I never once receive A curtesy call message or email letting me know my payment had been return. Nope just shut it off.
