Rude staff - sometimes like a movie parody of Postal Office employees. In addition, they sent mail back due to the carrier believing that there was 10 days of mail in the box (in my case it was not 10 days worth of mail but a ton of holiday catalogs-junk mail!). They are supposed to hold the mail for 15 days before returning it as unclaimed. It was immediately sent back after it was taken from the box - instead of owning up to this and apologizing, the employee stated that they are able to do this immediately without any notice to the postal patron and this is a recent change. I dread when I have to use this post office for any services due to the poor service. The Self-Serve area is pretty well organized and I think thats the best thing about this place because less interaction with the people who work there. I was last in line and they had someone training and were closing up on a Saturday. Of course it took some extra time for the trainee to complete my services and this I understand. One employee had the gate right up within 4 inches of me to close off the service area and the trainer person acted like it was THE BIGGEST INCONVENIENCE to have to help him. You would think with the push to close they would be very helpful - there was no one else to wait on but me!!! Overall, my interactions over the past 5 years have been 80% poor. Zero recourse for problems,....I used to work for the Fed Govt and I know it doesnt have to be this bad.

Never made a review before this, worst experience ever. Moved into a new rental and was told to order my key. Paid $40 and they said they would call within a few days when ready. A week and a half goes by and I call and the guy on the phone acts like I am stupid and will not look it up and says to wait and theyll call when its ready. So I call back the next day and another guy tells me they lost it and to call another location to check. I call that location several times and no one answers. So now the other office is closed and I call back the next day and they found my key. So I go to pick it up the next day before work and the lady, Diane or something, says it isnt there and some one picked it up yesterday? No one in my home did so I call back because I am now running late to work because she spent 20 min looking. I tell her no one picked it up and she goes, "oh wait its right here." Never apologizes, I ask if they can refund me or do anything so I can get my 3 weeks of mail and she says, "well now I know its here so you can come get it." No I cant I am on my way to work. TERRIBLE, rude and dont even make efforts to help you at all.

I have had issues with mis-delivered mail (getting my neighbors mail and neighbors getting mine) since I moved to this area. Sometimes I wont receive any mail. A couple of times I have had checks sent to me that I never received and sadly, one time it was cashed by some shady neighbor that probably got it in their mailbox. Calling Arizona Department of Consumer Affairs seems to help temporarily but sooner or later, when management at this post office changes, the issue returns. The inside of my mailbox has my name and address clearly written on it along with a pink USPS sticker alerting the carrier to double-check my address but this doesnt help. Ive called the Post Office multiple times and even gone there in person to voice my complaint, spoken to supervisors, managers and even the post master and nobody there seems to really care. Nobody there is even the slightest bit apologetic. Now its been a whole week since Ive seen a single item in my mailbox (and I am expecting two specific items that had a tracked arrival date of last week). Called the post office once again to be disappointed. Ill be contacting Consumer Affairs again.

I never receive packages and this time I got a package that was supposed to be delivered to my door delivered into the big pick up box at my mailbox unit..the key left inside did not work...when I looked further at the big mailbox, there was a key broken inside meaning I never had a chance to pick up my package with the key left...why on earth would a postal worker leave package inside a box residents cannot open is beyond me...so I try to call the post office direcrlt...busy...for hours...so I hand wrote a note in bright blue sharpie and taped the box key to the note asking postal worker to leave package at my door or in my regular mailbox...I get home only to find that I had no mail delivered and my note still there...so did our neighborhood not have service all that day???? Crazy...so here I am trying to call post office again and it is still busy...so I am stuck having to waste my day watching out for the mailman to show up so I can catch him and get my package I was supposed to have last thursday...mind you I paid extra for same day delivery that I never received. Horrible service.

Worst Post Office. I kept having packages delivered to the wrong apartment complex. Within a 6 month period 4 packages got sent to the wrong complex. I had to track them down myself. Now whenever I dont get my packages delivered to me, I automatically to over to the apartment complex next to ours and ask for it. Twice they have had it at their front office. The final straw was the end of July when they delivered some shoes I was waiting for to attend an out of town wedding somewhere else, and it was sent back with a note "unable to find", even though I VERIFIED THE NAME AND ADDRESS WITH THE STORE AFTER THE RETURN. The shoes could not be mailed out again so I had to run in the store last minute to find something similar, YET the Post Office claimed via tracking that it was delivered to my apartment complex front office. I checked with them every day, got two other packages that were shipped via UPS but not the ones through the Post Office. Ive given up and now have packages mailed to my job address. Im always getting other peoples mail in my mail box.

I have had nothing but problems with this post office since the day I moved to gilbert. Every package i have been delivered that requires a parcel locker has been placed in the wrong lockers and the neighbors have had to bring me my packages the next day. Also, when i called about my key not working to open my box they said that "well ill leave the driver a note. he can leave it in another locker for you or spray the key with wd40." and when i came back the next day the SAME KEY was in my mailbox!! So when i used that key on another locker it opened it, but it wasnt my stuff in it. It was my neighbors stuff who had to bring my stuff to me! Then the next day, the mailman leaves a hand written note with scribbles on it in my box telling me that "the package was put in a parcel. im assuming you got it since its not here today." WHAT THE HELL? Your assuming!? If you can use another post office, I would reccomend it!!!
