I was lied to and my car was damaged. I had been coming here for 15 years and am never going back. In 2014 I had terrible work done by an employee that was later fired. I had gone back several times and each time I was told it was fine, until the time the employee was actually fired and the staff told me theyd fix what he had done for no charge (as it was their fault/bad work the company had done). This was when I was told that he was fired and heard the story of why. Ive still had a persistent issue which I was told a several times was nothing to worry about until I heard a metal on metal noise. Now the issue that was nothing before has a $400+ bill. The only part that isnt working is one that was "fixed" initially by the fired employee, that I had complained about several times only to be told not to worry and that is was nothing. It was at this point that I was given the number of Tim Harthant at the corporate office, whom I called. During the course of our conversation he lied to me about the former manager getting fired (specifically told me he moved on to another position and was not fired, which I know for a fact is not true) and told me that since I had already received a credit for them initially fixing the bad work, I couldnt get a second one to finish fixing what they had broken. Keep that in mind when they tell you that you have a warranty. They can just decide to not honor it. I was told by the people there that looked at my car that they could tell shotty work was done and the history showed that the guy that was fired did what he had been doing and "got me out of the shop and swept it under the rug". Ill say what most everyone in these reviews is saying with the addition of one giant caveat. Al and Pat are great, but their hands are tied by corporate. When I spoke to corporate, Tim Harthant didnt listen to me, he only waited to talk, and told me a blatant lie which makes me really wonder what else he is dishonest about. Places like this only exist because people dont want to do the 5 minutes of work to find an actual mechanic with lower prices that does better work, and actually stands by it.

I had a 2 wheel front end toe-in adjustment done on 8/26/20010, with a printed report from the alignment machine showing all four wheels were within factory alignment specifications. Four months and about 10,000 miles later, the two front tires are have all the tread worn off on the insides due to extreme toe-out and the back tires are scalloped across the face and worn off on the edges. My new set of new tires are ruined in 4 months! When I called, the service man kept interrupting me, to tell me they have a 6 month warrantee. Why would I go back and have a "free warrantee alignment" done, just to have them ruin another set of 80,000 mile warranted tires in 4 months of use? All I wanted was the Invoice number and date, so I could get the warrantee work done else where, but I could not get the information or tell my story because of the service guy interrupting me about, "just bring it in, and we will look at it, it has a 6 month warranty." I live in another state now, so I can not just drive down and have him check it out. To miss align a car so bad that a new set of 80,000 mile tires are destroyed in 10,000 miles is clearly bad work. I think the bad work was caused by damaged or maladjusted computerized alignment equipment. The technician who did the work had years of experience and was very knowledgeable about all forms and methods of tire alignment. I am certain that the technician could have done a better job of alignment with a few strings and a measuring tape, which is the method used in the days before "computerized alignment" was done. I just wish the guy on the phone would have listened to me, and gone out and had the alignment machine checked for proper adjustment. He was just to bothered to listen to me, just like the guy in the other review, they are to busy to listen to their customers.

I love this BreakMaster location. They are honest every time. I never take time to review businesses online, but I have to today. My car broke down last night, and I had to get it towed to another location. That location did the diagnostics today, and called me back with prices (a coil needing to be replaced). The first thing I did was call Al at Break Masters, I let him know what I was being charged and asked him if it was fair. Rather than try to steal my business, which with years of going there he easily could have, he said it was fair and that I should do it rather than risk getting my car to them. Well, I am going to do the necessary work at the second location, but you can bet Ill be doing everything else at Break Masters. I love these guys, especially Al! I would recommend them every time!

While I was deployed to Iraq my wife was having trouble with her brakes squealing. Turned out they were just very dirty (no charge) HOWEVER, they could have easily sold my wife new brakes, calipers, etc., and no one would have ever known the difference. They have earned my trust because of this. Weve brought our vehicles there ever since. They do good work, they stand behind their work and they are HONEST, which to me is the most important thing. I deal mostly with Al (hes great!) but the others are good too. Im shocked to see anyone has had a bad experience here - I guess you cant please everyone.

Used to like this place. Have been going there for several years. However, when I started having more serious ($1000) work to get done, they seemed aggravated with me when I asked them to show me exactly what was wrong on the car. The work theyve done on my car has been good, but I think they shouldnt give me attitude when I ask to understand why work has to be done if its going to cost me so much money. Way better than Sun Devil Auto. Just be ready to deal with a bit of attitude sometimes. Also, no shuttle service.

If you wanna get scammed go here! Told me my compressor was locked and could fix it that day for $1150 with manager discount. When getting a second opinion and finding my forever shop they told me it was just the $150 fix for the a/c belt. They informed me that I was being scammed because if the shop had check my compressor with the engine running they would have known better! Pure laziness and unprofessional mechanics almost cost me $1150( with discount) shame on you!!!!

Usually go to another location. stopped in as i needed a quick oil change and some other stuff... The manager Larry is really amazing. 1- He is patient and made sure to explain everything in "simple English" and not car talk. 2- There were some other issues, Larry took the time to research and find other ways to fix it besides just replacing it thereby saving me money!!

Great customer service. Front desk/lobby employees always treat me like family. They dont hide anything, no bait n switch, no funny business. This brake masters is the only place my car gets serviced; I dont even trust my new car at the dealership! Great business model for anyone who is in the auto repair industry.
