DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. I have a truck with off road tires $250 a piece. 2 months ago I took it in for oil and tire rotation. Walked out and the worked order said it was taken care of. Fast forward to next scheduled maintenance. Said the tires are not wearing right, I need an oil change and another tire rotate. My wife took it in this time. ASKED 3 times on 3 separate occasions did the tires get rotated? Yes, yes they the tires were rotated is the response she got. I get the truck, tires were not rotated. Took it in 5 days later said these were not rotated. He then asks for the Rim lock key....I said Rim lock key? I was never given one. So now I told him, well either 1 you have lied to me twice now about rotating my tires or you lost my key. They said well I dont have a key. I responded well so now I am left with $500 worth of tires with un-even premature wear and you guys have lied to me. I asked for a manager and he apologized for the problem and I said the problem here is I am left with nearly brand new tires with uneven wear and you are not offering anything? Dave the manager said, well the driver causes tire wear. I said No, the shop that did not rotate my tires the past 2 times like I asked them to, and like the paper work says they did causes uneven wear. He said I am not buying you or offering you anything for those tires. what do you want me to do at this point. I said dont ever touch my truck again. I will come get it. Update 8/3/16 They since offered to pay for the un-used portion of my tires after I posted several reviews. So I had to go back out and spend over $600 on 2 new tires, then they gave me just $420 in re imbursment. So now I have spent almost $800 on 2 tires. (Since I paid 600 originally then another $180 for the difference) Then David the manager had the neve to call several times asking for the used tires back saying thats how the warranty works. First off its not warranty it was your shop inability to rotate tires plus lie to me telling me they were done. Second if it was a warranty that woudl imply I bought the tires from you first...I did not. So I returned his call and he said we need the tires back, I said sure I would love to sell them to you for $200. Dave (the manager) said no those are our tires. I told him nope, you paid for the tires on my truck, I paid for the tires in my garage and we NEVER talked about me giving you the tires back. He then said " I see how you are" and hung up. NEVER SHOP AT THIS PLACE

Called the store at 7am to make sure I wiuld be the first "drop off" of the day since I didnt have an appointment. all i needed was a simple oil change, which takes no more than an hour if youre taking your time. I figured my car would be done by 11 since they said it would be in between appointments that were already scheduled which was fine. I call at 11:03 for the status of my car. Dave which i guess is the manager from reading other reveiws, tells me that my car is 20th in line and that it hasnt been touched yet and theyre about to go on break. i ask wait how am i 20th in line when my car was the first one in your parking lot today. all he said was "appointments". tf type of answer is that?? then i ask how many and he says 10. which i then to proceed to say how is that 20 fuxking cars when you only have 10 appointments for the day, half of them are over, and i was first in line for the drop off group? he then told me not to argue with him, called me sweetie and i yelled back telling him to treat me more professionally since i am a customer, you should probably be savig any type of business you get whether its a simple oil change or brake repair. unfortunately this will be the last time im coming. their first impression they gave me was nowhere near a pleasant one. i never got a full answer from "the manager" which is a shame. i chose this place bc i was told they were great, big mistake on my part. Save your time and money, go to firestone, oreilly, autozone, anything other than sun devil auto.

Recently took my Audi A4 in for what should have been a simple A/C coolant recharge. I normally take my car to LeSueur Car Co for service, but SDA was closer to home and I figured this should be a simple issue to fix. The staff here looked at it and told me that the issue seemed like more than a coolant issue and that my whole A/C system may be in need of repair. When I asked what they thought was wrong, they told me that they didnt know what specifically was the issue, but it would likely cost at least $1,500 to fix. I said no thanks, paid my $27 for their diagnosis and took it to LeSueur. Within a few hours, the guys at LeSueur had recharged the coolant and the A/C worked fine again... for a total of $114. To top it off, the mechanic at LeSueur said that SDA hadnt properly tightened a certain valve when they gave the car back to me and coolant sprayed over the whole engine when LeSueur turned the A/C on. Hard to tell if the guys at SDA are deliberately dishonest or just incompetent, but either possibility is not acceptable.

I made an appointment for an oil change and gave all the information about my car. I asked at that time if I was able to use a coupon I printed on line. The technician checked my vehicle and the type of oil required and said yes, you may use the coupon. So, on my appointment day, I arrived. The same gentleman took my information one more time and this time said I needed a special oil blend.I dont have a fancy car. I have a Chevy Impala. I was never told anywhere else that my car needed a special oil. It would now cost me $41.00 and I was not able to use my coupon. I said, 4 days ago you quoted something entirely different. He said are you sure it was me? Yes, Im sure. He said, well Im sorry, this is what it will be. And I replied, Well goodbye then. He said goodbye. What kind of business dealing is this? I will never go to that place again and I will certainly pass the word! You can count on that.

I will never go to this auto shop again. Saturday, September 6 2015, I went in due to a coolant leak. They person in the front stated their certified technician completed a diagnostic and pressurized the system, and the issue was definitely the water pump. It wasnt IF the water pump was bad, but they stated 100% faulty water pump. It was necessary to replace the water pump for $900. I told them I could not pay for this, and service guy was able to get down to $757. I decided to take to my mechanic and not have a car for a few days, because of previous issues with Sun Devil Auto. My mechanic went through my vehicle and found a hose that needed to be tightened, which was the source of the leak. My bill from my mechanic $0...Sun Devil Auto has no integrity and my second go round with this type of service. AWFUL!!!
