Had my car in the other day for an oil change and transmission service. I was told that my cv boots were torn and I would need 2 half axles as that was cheaper labor wise than replacing the boots. I was also told that I needed struts all around and 2 motor mounts. I also asked them to check my ac as I was having intermittant issues and check my brakes. WELL, the motor mounts did need to be replaced but the cv boots were fine as were the struts as verified by another mechanic with me under the car while it was up on the hoist. Further, aamco later told me through this process that the half axles were only available from the dealer and as they put it "very expensive" but he could have them rebuilt for $200.00 a piece plus the labor to remove and reinstall. The other mechanic SHOWED ME the parts on his computer available for 149.00 each MY COST. Also, as to the ac issue aamco said the did all the tests and everything was fine but 3 days later my other mechanic spotted a leak in the ac discharge line that was obvious even to me as a layman...and I didnt even mention the ac issue to my other mechanic he spotted it without any prompting....I dont think aamco ever even checked it. As for the checking my brakes, i was told that they never actually inspected them but the mechanic said they "felt ok" when he drove it WTF??? I thought brakes should be visually inspected! Well at least my other mechanic did and they are fine. Anyway long story short, aamco tried to get me to do over $1000 in unneccessary repairs not to mention poor service, poor attention to details and poor follow up...it took 2 days to get the estimate for all the BS work they were trying to get me to do. F*** YOU AAMCO and F*** YOU ROB the crooked service manager!!!

My name is Jacob Lee and Jans the owner has stole $263.87 from me $149.99 of it they never did anything for. I took my tahoe in because the ac was not blowing cold and they told me they found some leaks (that were not actually leaks) I gave them the go ahead to fix them. Once they realized they were wrong they said it was my ac compressor its self that was leaking and to buy a new one. So what did I do I went and bought a brand new compressor (the old one was perfectly fine). Guess what it did not fix my issue. Finally had a reputable shop look at it and it was my evaporator the whole time. $1000.00 later and it was only a $97.00 part that needed to be replaced. I paid them the $263.87 for repairs and for an ac service once the new compressor was on. The manager quit before I got the ac service and told me he did not believe me and talked to the manager as did I. The manager told him to give me the money back because 1 thing they never even did and the other because it was all lies. Steer clear of this shop they are theives and will rip you off!!!! $

Best auto care in AZ!..Best AAMCO in the Valley! Went in to have routine service check up on my 09 Toyota Corolla. A full inspection was complete, timely, and very thorough. I could tell that they took very good care of my car and were extremely professional throughout the entire process. When it came time to give the report of what was needed to be done, I was pleasantly surprised that I was not getting over charged or saw things that were just tacked on to make a buck. My Corolla is at the 90k mile mark and new it was time to fix a few things and had in mind what items/parts needed to be fixed or replaced. The price of the labor and parts seemed lower than expected as the dealership was asking much more. Highly recommend this AAMCO to anyone in search of a honest repair shop, looking for accurate pricing and a friendly staff.

This place is great! They are really professional and communicate with their customers often to give updates and to get authorizations if any work needs to be performed. Theyre really honest and I have never felt misled by them. I dropped my car off right before they closed on Saturday and heard from them by 8:30 on Monday (theyre closed on Sunday.) This place is definitely someplace that I know I can take my car and I will be treated fairly. (Theyre also less expensive than the dealerships, which is really great.)

Store manager Rob and his team at the Thomas and Scottsdale location in Scottsdale, Arizona, have been nothing short of phenomenal in their customer service in my experiences. Theyve treated not only my car, but my girlfriends car with professionalism and dignity on some high ticket items where other bids have been sky high for unnecessary add-ons. Id recommend this location to any of my friends in need of car repair.

I brought my 2004 Escalade in a couple of weeks ago for a problem. As a female, I am always cautious about auto repair shops because I dont know much about cars. However, the employees made me feel at ease and helped me out. Turns out it was my fuel pump and they were able to fix my car that day at a reasonable price. I will definitely come back again. Anthony at Aamco takes care of people. Flat out. I highly recommend him and his shop to service your vehicle. I took my Silverado in to have some minor work done and I couldnt be happier about the service I received and more importantly the honest work his shop did. I shopped around and not only was the pricing the best, but the customer service was unbeatable.

Only 300,000 mi. and reverse goes out, and its christmas time. Rick and his crew went to work , far above any expectations I had considering the circumstances. This shop is run by pros and it showes. Ive been in biz 36 years seen a lot, this is how a busness should be run. Ill recomend this place to every one and tell them thier foolish to go elsware

went in for a simple fluid check and they tried to charge me for a full engine diagnostic after hearing the ludacris price, i called my local subaru dealer and took it to them wear they ran a diagnostic and said all that was needed was a simple change of fluids, these guys are braindead @ aamco
