The Car Shop, and Paul especially, as usual, provided me with excellent service. Id been told repeatedly that my aging Jeep wasnt worth repairing. Id also been told by 3 or 4 other mechanics that I had a rear main seal leak, and they were advising to not bother repairing it because Id likely need a new engine soon (Jeep has 220K+ miles on it). The Car Shop found that the primary leak was not in the rear main seal at all, and that my engine still sounded and pressure tested just fine and that it was worth fixing the leak. Its been over 2 weeks, and I havent lost a drop of oil. The Jeep is running better than ever (we did some other work as well, such as replacing the engine and transmission mounts). They also fixed an issue with the Jeep failing emissions, and handled taking it back through for me and getting it to pass. I have always found The Car Shop to be fair, straight forward, and honest. Paul worked with me patiently to come up with a repair plan I could afford, helping me prioritize which repairs were most important and which could wait. And, my personal favorite aspect of working with Paul: he didnt talk down to me. Ive had many mechanics be dismissive or unwilling to explain, or even get offended at me "questioning" them—presumably because Im a woman (or maybe because Im not a mechanic). That has never happened to me dealing with Paul. He speaks to me respectfully and recognizes my cognitive ability. That goes a LONG way with me. (Especially since Im the type of woman to change my own oil, or replace my own ignition coil, and I dont at all care to be treated like I wouldnt understand mechanical issues.) I would and have highly recommended The Car Shop to friends and family.

this place has horrible service. my vehicals transmission went out on me and they were the closest place. they had good reviews on google so i decided to take it there. It took 3 days to do the diagnostic on my car and figure out what was wrong with it. i gave them my consent to fix it. they told me it would be another day or so. the next day they called back and told me i had another problem with my car. i told them to fix both of the problems and they said it would take another day. 6 days later they finally finsihed my car after 9 days of service. i couldnt get to work or school durring this time but they had no consideration for my time. once i got my car back i found out that they had completely forgot to fill my car back up with oil which almost caused my car to break down before i found out the problem. about a month after their service my car broke down with the same problem they had supposidly fixed. Horrible customer service i was completly dissatisfied with these guyz and no consideration for your time. I will not reccomend this shop to anyone. if u go in for an oil change its bound to take you a few days to get the service done.

It was the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. I called several places near me but, of course, all booked up. (My brakes had been done by a repair shop around the corner from The Car Shop less than a year before. Took back to the other place several times. The last time they said my rotors were blue due to my driving with my foot constantly on the brake and to come back in six months! 1st of all I never drive like that, 2nd they didnt want to honor their warranty.) Paul said bring it on in and The Car Shop would get er done! True to their word, it was done that day! No squeaks, squeals, no grinding, stops on a dime! Forgot what it was like to not have to worry if my brakes would work in an emergency. More on The Car Shop...found out under new owners! That is good because my Mom, a neighbor, and I had all gone to them years before and all of us had bad experiences so I was a little leary when I went in. I found out after the repairs done. SO...to make long story short...YES I would give them a big thumbs up!

Let me start by saying that my first and last experience at The Car Shop was a horrible one. I needed my vehicle diagnosed because I had a huge coolant leak, and with my limited car knowledge, I was unsure if it was a bad hose or water pump. I went to The Car Shop, and immediately was rudely greeted by an older gentleman who seemed as if he had something better to do than talk to me. I explained my situation and he charged me $50 just to tell me what was wrong. Once he and I found out that it was the water pump (a big $$ job), he instantly came across friendly when he was telling me that he would only charge me $850 to replace the timing belt and pump. I said I was going to hold off and look around. He immediately came across in a rude manner again. After much research, I found a legitimate mechanic to replace my belt and pump for $300 less than The Car Shop. Next time, I will let my car remain broken before I give these guys my money.

Let me be clear... I dont trust mechanics. I usually just pay the extra money and get my service done at a dealership, and still end up slightly unhappy and feel slightly taken advantage of. I was honestly very hesitant to take my car here, but I had some serious problems with my diesel truck and I just hoped I would not get taken advantage of quite as bad as the dealer. When I called them (I broke down nearby) they offered to come pick me up. The job was complicated and I got an estimate for the repairs. They found more problems than anticipated, but went and got me a 2nd opinion at their expense to confirm the issues. In the end, they found a simpler solution to all my trucks issues and saved me money. After I recieved my truck back, I checked the price I paid with 2 other mechanics and both of them thought it was an exceptional deal. I will continue to return to them and would recommend them to anyone who asks.

Last winter I was dreading a trip to the discount tire place I had used for years. The wait time was long (almost three hours in one case), and the tires never lasted more than half to two-thirds of the guaranteed mileage. Thats when I thought, next time I get my regular oil change at the Car Shop, Im going to ask about tires. Terry told me what he recommended (a US manufacturer), and the first surprise was that the price was about the same as the discount place. The second surprise was that when I went in 3,000 miles later, Terry had my tires rotated even though I had forgotten to ask. No more special trips halfway across town or fruitless searches for recommendations online. These guys are good. If you give them your business on a steady basis, they will treat you well. Its a fair trade.

All previous reviews on Google were 100% right. The Car Shop not only did the work I needed in order to pass the emissions test, but they gave me a list of repairs they recommend I have done in the short and long term. They were fast, fair, responsive, and best of all, they LISTENED to me and my concerns about costs, priorities, etc. They willingly/graciously gave me a ride home when I left my car with them AND then came for me the next day when my car was ready...As if it was just part of their standard level of service - - which it is!! Paul and the car shop team should be the benchmark for auto service everywhere! Thank you, Car Shop Team. You rock! Ill be back. . .& not just to kiss the owners adorable puppy Nigel!
