Friday I went online to schedule an appointment for saturday at 3:30. Got my email confirmation that my appointment was set and even got an email reminder of the appointment. I got there at 3:20 and I stated I had an appointment at 3:30 the man behind counter rudely responded and said no you dont. I showed him my email and he still kept saying I had no appointment. He said how can you have an appointment at 3:30 when I stop taking cars at 4.I told him I dont know that time is available on the website to schedule appointment and I have the email right here. He didnt care that I had an email showing my appointment and was rude.I asked him about 3 times so you telling me that going online and making an appointment is pointless and he just said no. (Well apparentley it is) He rudley said I cant push my nine cars aside to get to yours. (WTF...I NEVER ASKED YOU TOO BUT I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR 3:30 & NOW I AM NOT EVEN IN THE SYSTEM!) He said do you have a problem waiting. I said yes that is why I made the appointment. I told him I will go elsewhere and I left. I will never go back to this place. I recently moved to surprise and this could have been my go to place for any car issues but now after this experience I WILL NOT return. I will give another place my business. The man was rude and didnt even bother to try to be understanding. He just kept telling me I dont have an appointment and had nothing to say when i showed him my email. SO PEOPLE DO NOT EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE. ITS NOT WORTH IT. IT MAY ONLY BE IN THE SYSTEM IF THEY DECIDE TO KEEP IT IN THERE. I think they just erased it from the system. Usually I dont make appointments online but with two little kids and knowing I had a lot to do that day I thought it would help out but NOPE. Its sad when you go to a business these days where the employees are rude and act like they can care less if they have your business or not but they should realize it takes customers to have a business.there is a car center down bell by home depot that are very nice and helpful...my advice go there.

Being passed around Facebook. Boycott Mieneke Car Center!! We took my daughters car into Mieneke because the key in the ignition would not come out. They claimed they fixed the problem and charged us $514.00. The key kept sticking so we called Mieneke, they said let the key work itself in. Finally in August we took the car back they kept the car for 3 days, when we went to find out what was going on and taking so long, they said "you have to pay us another $200.00 to get the problem fixed" we told them we wanted them to fix the original problem. They said no we want another $200.00, we at that time asked for the car back, my daughter got into her car the middle console was lose, she went back into Mieneke spoke with the manager and he said I will go get the mechanic that first looked at your car, the mechanic came out and said "we never looked at your car, so it is your fault the console is loose." Now if they never looked at the car how can they know what the new problem was and want to charge another $200.00 to fix it??? We then took it to another Mieneke they said it was the tumbler which is the same exact thing that was supposedly fixed and they fixed it but it cost us another $400.00, because both shops are owed by 2 different owners. I talked to the manager at another Mieneke and he looked at both paperwork from both Mieneke and said that we paid for the same thing to get done. The district manager called me and said "just take us to court and you will lose." So off to court we go! I am going to file small claims paperwork and get all my money back.

Attempted to contact this location about work on my vehicle. The first call was picked up and hung up. The second call was answered by a male employee. When I inquired if they worked on radiators, he proceeded to tell me they rebuild engines so of course they could work on radiators. When I asked for a quote (which I know would not be accurate) for a possible replacement of drain plug he proceeded to tell me that he couldnt give me a quote without seeing the vehicle. (Yes, this is a somewhat normal response) but when I stated- If I needed a drain plug replaced, what range would I be looking at...he proceeded to tell me " well, you arent a tech, so without seeing the vehicle, I couldnt begin to tell you!" How dare you assume to know anything about your customers background! The customer service with this particular "gentleman" was horrific. He proceeded to argue with me and more. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Fantastic experience. I went to a competitors shop and finally found out the root cause of my car shaking both at idle and while in motion. Overall, Alex was awesome. I cant image why people have rated the shop with 1 star but my experience was 5 stars all around. Thanks Alex for taking time to listen, understand and care about what mattered the most to me and my car. The competitors: Carls Car Care: Over-crowded area with too many car shop businesses, I could barely park. The owner made you feel very un-welcomed. I went in per a recommendation from a family member only to be let down. The price quoted was also high because extra labor and parts were to be done where Meineke saved me the extra costs. Midas on 9958 W Santa Fe Dr: Called for quotes, was told I would get a call back and I ended up calling 3 additional times myself only to be put on hold for 24 minutes.

On 2/24/12 my vehicle was not running properly. I knew it was a cylinder that was out. I had a diagnostics print out from autozone indicating it was cylinder 6. I took my vehicle to Meineke at 15494 W Bell Rd Surprise AZ. They hooked a machine to my vehicle and said it was R&R spark plugs, igniter wires & plugs, fuel injection service, oxygen sensor, R&R oxygen sensor, and were also going to do a fuel system kit. I asked the Manager Brett if this would fix the problem, he said yes. Total charges were $525.15. Well problem was never fixed, all they did was maintenance, and after they did say it was cylinder 6 and it would cost me in additional 200.00 dollars to repair! I shouldve known better when every vehicle leaving the garage was still being worked on when vehicles were supposed to be done! Never again will I use Meineke! Poor service! Tanya McBroom

If you like paying something for nothing, this is the place for you! I brought my car in and told them exactly where my exhaust issue was. They charged for a diagnosis and then told me I would need a new catalytic converter, which runs about a thousand bucks. They later came back and said it was a gasket. They replaced the overpriced gasket and then what did they find? A leak, exactly where I said it was to begin with! They then suggested a repair but couldnt tell me, with any level of confidence, what it would cost, or if it would even resolve the issue. I decided to cut my losses and only paid for the initial "repair", which left me with the exact problem I started with, and less money to actually have it fixed elsewhere. Read the reviews and dont make the same mistake!
