Ive had nothing but problems with this shop. I took my car in for the first time two weeks ago when my check engine light went on. I told them that I was also looking to maybe get my brake pads replaced (front and rear). They ran the check engine light through the system and it came back as a Large Evap Leak. They said they checked my system and thought it was just the gas cap. A $13 dollar fix! I was amazed. I asked them to take care of my brakes. They said that the back brakes were fine (about 75%) and they replaced the front pads and ground down the rotars and I was on my way. But my brakes were still squeaking and two days later the check engine light went on again. I took the car right back to All Repair. I told them that my brakes were still squeaking and that the sound seemed to be coming from the back brakes. This was where the bad news began. They discovered that the mechanic had installed my front brake pads WITH THE GLAZE STILL ON. Also, the check engine light was for a Small Evap Leak and the code contained a bulletin that needed the dealerships computer to clear. Still they insisted my back brakes looked fine. So, two days later the light comes on again and I get to drag my two toddlers to the dealership. After $100 of system updating and tests and nearly 2 hours of checking the system, they discovered that the gas cap All Repair installed was faulty (a poor fit for a Toyota) and that was what caused the Small Evap Leak warning. Also, they said my rear brakes WOULD HAVE FAILED INSPECTION. We then had to have the dealership replace the back brake pads. I have since called All Repair to relay my frustrations with their service. The Assistant Manager had the what-do-you-expect-me-to-do-about-it attitude. He also implied that the dealership upsold me on back brakes (even insinuating that if I didnt actually drag my two toddlers into the shop and inspect the bad back brake pads, then they were scamming me), except for the fact that now my car MAKES NO SQUEAKING SOUNDS AT ALL. I told them there was a problem and I feel like they brushed aside my concerns. The work they did do was shoddy work at best. The glaze was left on the front brake pads (who knows what damage that could have caused and only by a fluke were they able to remedy this ridiculous oversight). The dealership mechanic told me that leaving the glaze on the brake pads is like making a sandwich with the wrapper still on the cheese. The gas cap was a cheap, generic part, that did not seal properly and caused me to have to go into the dealership for $100 of testing and updating. I did not feel like the Assistant Manager, when I expressed my frustrations, was compassionate or even all that eager to keep me as a customer. Its a sad day when I trust the dealership over an independent auto shop, but All Repair Auto made the dealership look ideal.

I found this repair shop through google and was very excited when I saw the outstanding ratings. Unfortunately after spending nearly 1,000$ and my vehicle still wasnt fixed I cant say Im satisfied. Heres my experience and I hope I am not the majority. We brought our truck in because the check engine light was on and the timing belt had went out. We asked to have both the timing belt and serpentine belt replaced for this service we were quoted $325. We were called and told the check engine light was on due to the MAP sensor - they cleaned that sensor we said ok. We also asked to have the inspection and emissions done on the vehicle. Total bill $500. We take the vehicle home and the very next day coolant is leaking out onto the driveway. Truck goes back. Another $600 to replace the heater core. Here is where things get shady. We bring the truck home and drive it to work and the AC doesnt work at all. We take it back thinking surely this is just an oversight. Nope another $300 repair it has a leak. Unfortunately we had the entire AC system serviced a year earlier and it worked fine before we took it for repair. We were not offered to have this fixed even though the leak was more than likely caused during the install of the heater core. We will not reccommend or return. I hope you have a pleasant service at this shop. And, I find it hard to believe that people are traveling from Sandy to this shop for oil changes but hey I believed it when I took the truck in.

All Repair Auto Care was able to resolve something when another mechanic wasn’t and they fixed something another mechanic left dangerous exposed. My Jeep’s airbag light came on and I took it to a mechanic for repair. He spent “weeks” looking for the part and couldn’t find it. He warned me that when he did find it, he’s need the Jeep all day. I suffered through the annoying pinging sound, until I found out my insurance wouldn’t cover me in an accident. I took it to All Auto Care and they located the part and fixed in within 3-4 hours. Then, later when I noticed an odd sound coming from my Jeep, I took it back to them. They found that when previous repairs were done (by another shop- who had charged me $1200 and kept my Jeep for 3 days) they hadn’t properly attached my exhaust. Truly, I’d gotten lucky because my exhaust hadn’t been permanently damaged or simply fallen off. The exhaust repairs could have exceeded $500-900 and yet, All Repair Auto Care saved me all that by simply fixing another mechanic’s carelessness. Finally, the mechanic mentioned that he had concerns regarding the state of my front tire (it needs to be replaced) and regardless of where I buy tires from (I dont believe All Repair Auto sells tires), he recommended I get new front tires. I will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone who needs a good, honest mechanic.

I have used them on several repairs on several vehicles based on the Google ratings. Work is good quality but you pay big time for it. This has been my experience each time. I chalk it up to me being busy and needing it done. My most recent experience however has me finally feeling like enough is enough. I just had them price out a repair with three damaged parts all connected. Greater than 900 total price for parts and labor on parts that cost about 85 from Rockauto. We decided to see what we might do, not sure if we would fix the car or not. It is cheap student transportation and that is a big cost. Took a DATC student friend about 3 hours. I am thinking they priced each part replacement as if they were individual repairs, not all connected and must have included highest end on retail for the parts. I understand shop rates and the need to cover their OH and pay the mechanic, but the total bid was very excessive. I have felt similar on my other repairs but did appreciate the quality of the work. On previous repairs, I have questioned the price and they have come down a bit by not warranting. Anyway. You will appreciate the work quality, but watch for super high prices both on parts and the labor based on time. I wont be back.
