Went the Extra Mile! Now, I understand why Master Muffler of Clearfield has such high marks! I called for a muffler repair quote and received a fair over the phone response, but they recommended bringing my vehicle in for a free in-person estimate. At first, I was hesitant, but after reading reviews and receiving a more expensive in-person quote from Master Muffler of Layton, I didnt think it would hurt to get a second opinion from the Clearfield location–Im glad I did! Not only did Master Muffler of Clearfield provide a lower quote for the same, uncoached services, but they stayed after hours to get it done (when everyone else only had openings for Monday). Thank you Tage, Scott, and Team for such Friendly, Quality, and Honest Service! 5.0 Stars.

Ive been going to Master Muffler & Brake in Clearfield for many years. Theyve worked on several of my cars and trucks and have always been reliable to find the problem and correct it quickly. I trust that Im not getting the runaround about whats the problem and that Ill receive quality work for a fair price. Most recently they performed the emissions testing on my truck and we priced out the tires for the truck and one of my cars for next month. They were honest about what Id really need based on my driving and are getting me great tires at a great price.

Had a horrible experience. Attempted to give them my business, and brought in a fully functional truck and left with one that would barely make it out of their driveway and needed to to be towed to a transmission shop from there. They burned the transmission by improperly performing a Cat test and took absolutley no responsibility even after a reputable transmission shop showed the owner that they were the cause of the damage. Im literally out thousands of dollars. Steer clear of this shop and the owners.

Cannot thank Tage enough for the quality work he did for my exhaust and the rest of the Team for being so friendly. Exhaust I purchased online needed modifications to fit correctly and Tage went in and fabricated the parts he needed for the perfect fitment. He also ensured that my suspension components wouldnt rub against the new exhaust either. Left the shop knowing that I will definitely come straight back for anything else I need in the future. what a painless way to fix your car. I was able to drop my car off and come back a few hours later and everything was fixed. It seems that most of the times I have dropped my car off at places and come back a few hours later they figure it just means that they can put that car off until later and it never ends up being ready when I come back. It was different with master muffler and brake and it was wonderful.

These guys are the best. I was doing a throttle body job myself and Couldnt get it right on my new 2015 Dodge Dart GT. I came in 45 minutes before they closed and they had me back on the road again by the time they was locking up for the night. I bring all my automotive needs here. They did a good job aligning our car. But I dont feel like they explained what happened very well. They said they couldnt check the tire pressure on one of my tires because it was stuck. Which was kind of annoying, my friend said you just need some vice grips and a blow torch to get it off. The car drives straight, and service was good.

I had a their coupon for an oil change. I live close by, so I called to see if I could get in today. The friendly person on the phone said they could! yay! I arrived, and they went to work! I stopped in to get an estimate to fix a muffler that was damaged in an accident. $300 at most places. The other persons insurance company only gave us $90.00. These guys "adjusted" it for free. All other services with them have been direct and honest. They let me know if I need to fix it now, or if it can wait.

When my muffler fell off, Master Muffler was able to find a great solution to fix the problem without having to replace everything. They noticed a few other things that needed some attention, and they were able to fix all of the problems for about half of what I was expecting to pay. Highly recommended.

These guys were really quick about getting my car fixed, despite a couple unforseen issues. even with them, they still got me out the door with registration renewed for less than I was originally quoted for the work alone! I will definately come back and refer friends and family to these guys.

They Did A Great Job With My Safety and emissions tests. Also got an oil change and they were really careful to get the right filter. Recommended a tire rotation for winter. Helpful for someone like me who forgets that sort of thing. Clean waiting room and bathroom which is appreciated.

A great experience! I brought my truck in to get the brakes done, but after taking a look they found that a small pebble was causing the squealing. Rather than charging me for a new set, they just removed the rock and saved me a costly repair!
