Time Warners timing is off. If you record shows, they stop early...so you miss the very end. It only records like 20 minutes of live t.v. That is cr@p!! I pay for the stupid hd recorder and it only holds like 2 movies and 3 shows. Also, if you are watching a show a few minutes behind (not live) and you are recording the following show (on that same channel), the show automatically changes to the show that you were recording when it starts and you can't rewind back to what you were watching. Hey dumbies, if I wanted to watch that show live, I would not have recorded it! The stupid recorder also doesnt record what you ask it to. I have set a series to record so many times that i have to be home now because i cant trust the recorder to do the one thing it was meant to do...record. Overall a horrible experience. If you have no other choice, be prepared to be frustrated...but if you do, go to them as quickly as possible. *The only company worse than time Warner is charter* P.S. I did have Direct but am upset at them for not being able to provide service here...I would rather pay extra to look at a huge, ugly dish on my patio than have to deal with this nonsense. Hey, Time Warner, you need a new set of programmers to fix this nonsense!

I moved to Anaheim 4/1/2012 and after the installer left I tried using some of the services on the DVR that I thought I had ordered. Like remote scheduling, or recording 1 show on 1 DVR and watching it in another but I couldnt so I called C.S. They told me that my order didnt call for that type of equipment even though I know I told them I wanted it. I specifically spent 10 minutes alone telling them I wanted these particular features. So then they told me in order to get those types of features I had to pay more, alot more. I told them no. Also one of the DVRs hasnt even been able to record since day 1. Another thing that happened was I got a letter from Time Warner telling me that my $50 deposit will be held til I cancel or move. Hmm, the rep on the phone NEVER said anything about a deposit. After calling C.S. again they told me they would have to run a credit check to see if I need a deposit. Well why in the hell didnt they do that when I initially set up the order at the time I was on the phone for an hour. Of course after the credit check I didnt need a deposit. So after 2 months Im taking the equipment back to Time Warner, but keeping the internet, and am having DTV installed as I speak, for much cheaper.

I have been an AT&T DSL customer for may years originally with Pacbell. When I first got the DSL line around 2001 speed was great 1.5 Meg. Its still 1.5 Meg and AT&T does not offer fiber at my home so after all these years I decided to check out cable. I was a little apprehensive as I had heard all the horror stories about Time Warner.. I went into the store and I was very pleased with the professionalism and the friendliness of the 2 people who helped me purchase 50 meg internet service for a price $5.00 less than I had been paying AT&T The appointment was to start between 3 and 4 pm on Monday, they arrived at 3:30 as I needed a cable to be ran into the house we discussed where and how best to set up the unit. Service was installed cleanly and professionally all three guys were great. I have tested the service many times using Speedtest and I am getting a full 50 meg down and 5 Meg up. Thank you all at Time Warner very much

For this office, I would give a higher review. They are generally nice there. As far as TWC service, theyre horrible. They will not notify you if new equipment is available. We had an old DVR that was incredibly slow and glitchy and when we decided to end our cable TV and return the box (for reasons unrelated to TWC), the lady in this office said "wow, this is an ooold box". There were 2 generations after the one we turned in that were free to swap! Thanks for letting us know! We now have only the cable internet service and the modem needs to be reset once a month by tech support. Nothing else to fix it. It freezes up completely with no internet. Just terrible, but the alternative is AT&T which Ive had even worse service from. ugh.

Terrible, No Communication. Account was turned off 2 days ago cause TWC received a request to activate new service on my residence. Called for assistance, Put me on hold to call the new customer requesting but no call to the account owner to verify removing of service..? Got call center Supervisor Tyrone says, "Oops, local office made the mistake, no we dont call account owners to verify deactivation of service." Once service was reinstated he hung up on me after saying call tech support for further assistance. Terrible Service, Representation, and no accountability.

Horrible communication. It took a total of 8 hours on the phone and 2 personal visits to the store to just figure out why the was a block on my house for their service. All they had to do was tell me there was an unpaid bill. It was he prior home owner. All I had to do was show that I am a new owner. It should have taken 10 minutes. After that I have spent 2 more total hours trying to get someone to come out an get started....this has consisted of 3 hang ups, countless transfers and a call saying they cancelled and appointment that I had not made.

I originally gave this company 1 star because they were charging me more than I had agreed. I went to the company and spoke with Lawrence, he was the one who was supposed to set up my account originally but was not in the day I went to get it started. To make a long story short, the people that helped apparently DID NOT hear me tell them I wanted the 14.99 internet and kept me with the Extreme internet. Regardless Lawrence fixed the service order and if I dont get anymore shady transactions I might even come back and give them 5 stars.

I use time Warners aka now spectrum because they have a Monopoly on cable internet here in Orange county. They have jacked up the price consistently because they can. Im hoping someday Googles internet service will be offered here. Or my even bigger wish is that orange county would make an internet district like we have a water district. Internet is too important to let these as**oles at spectrum make themselves rich off the middle class by having a Monopoly in the area. Down with spectrum!!!

Constantly turning service off. Refused to talk payment multiple times. Currently service is off. Add they wont talk money. Keep telling my sister call back at 9.00 am. Or pay in cash. Not our fault you cant run a debit card but keep trying to run it as a credit card. On phone now for the third time trying to pay. Uhhh think Ill drop your shot off at your office and find a better cable company after I report you to the better business Bureau.
