Charter is the worst company I as a business owner have ever had to deal with. 20 years my company has been with AT & T and Charter talks me into move everthing into a bundle its easier and no big deal to port the numbers well maybe if they trained there people and assigned one person to work with your business that would be true. So 08/22 I start and here we are 09/24 yes over a month later and no phones, no fax I am paying Charter and ATT because Charter has tried 4x to port my numbers and each time theyve screwed up and had to start over now they say 10/01/2013 if youre a business stay with the PHONE COMPANY!!!!! I had time warner and att and so much better no issues. Im on the phone every day for over 30 days now all I get is "Im making notes" well I must have a huge novel too bad I cant sell that. But yet no phones wish they would send a tech instead of take notes. And to boot they violate HIPPAA oh yah Im a medical facility and set up my internet cables into the medical office attached to me instead of me HELLO total federal offense and IT has to come out and correct ASAP I get a bill for $300 and Charter is offering to pay half ARE YOU KIDDING ME your people created an illegal federal crime jeopardizing privacy and you want me to pay half???? RUN, RUN FAST AND USE ANY CARRIER OTHER THEN CHARTER. Im a physician own my own company and manage my coporation that they still cant fix my lines. PLEASE MANAGEMENT CONTACT ME AND FIX THIS OH BUT USE MY CELL ATT CONTROLS THAT AND ITS THE ONLY NUMBER that works its in my file KING MANAGEMENT SERVICES.

I just had the MOST unsatisfying conversation of all time with CGI KAYLA in Billing. Man o MAN is that girl hard to talk to!! I asked for a supervisor over 7 times (please look at the transcript of our conversation- its a hoot.) and she flat out refused. Granted, i was asking for help with very little information of my own to provide, but she was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I found a box from a long time ago, and just wanted to know if it is worth my time to turn it in. It was like pulling teeth out of a chicken. She told me that i could answer a secret question to verify my account, and then immediately took it back! Kayla tricked me! I called her out on it, and she pretended like she didnt type it, which was completely bizzarre because it was there, IN PRINT, on the transcript! ITs a CHAT window, kayla! If you write something, it stays! Its not like you can pretend I misheard you or something. If, I mis read you, thats something, but then I can just go back and re-read it and see that yes, in fact, you did write exactly that! What a weirdo! And the fact that she refused to hand me to a supervisor, but kept arguing with me about what she wrote (which BOTH OF US CAN READ ON THE SCREEN, KAYLA!) was really unprofessional. CGI Kayla needs some time out, I think.

I have just switched to charter from direct tv. What a mistake. Horrible customer service! Rude on the phone, I was told when I ordered, my total cost for installation ,gladly I went ahead and paid it. After 2 days of services. I received a bill for 76.00 dollars. When I called to see why. I was told " these are activation fees. I was told there would be no charge for it. So I called back to have this taken off my bill. They refused to do so. So I canceled service. Then they did not want to give me a full refund. By the way they told me there was a 30 day satisfaction guarantee with a full refund. After many hours on phone. I was told to return my equipment at local office. Warning STAY AWAY FROM CHARTER COMMUNICATION BAD SERVICE AND NOT TRUTHFUL AND HONEST..You can call direct and they will match any of charters offers.. I am in West Covina Ca. Just say no to charter communication. You have been warned CHARTER IS A RIP OFF!!! :(

This is a review for the physical branch of Charter in Pasadena. I went to exchange my modem here. It was pretty empty and I walked right up to the counter. The guy that assisted me was very helpful, I was able to replace the modem easily & quickly for free (as opposed to having someone come out to do it, which would have been at least $30). I also got recommendations on how to save on a new router if I needed one, which I appreciated. I was also told download speeds were going to be improving in the Altadena area up to 60 mbps by the end of September 14, which is exciting. I hear Pasadena already got the upgrade. I was also pleased to find out that the replaced modem solved my shoddy internet problem, making it possible to post this review! Overall a good experience, much better than communicating with Charter over the phone (which I did before visiting here).

Where is the negative -10 button, this is the worst company on face of earth, if you want your blood pressure to go up and be humiliated with your own money sign up with them. Simply the WORST!!!!!! better stay in dark ages than using their services. They cheat and lie time and time again. You call but magically they never put notes of your previous conversations if it is not to their benefit. The next time you call you wont find any records on your account. They are LIARS, CHEATERS, HORRIBLE people to deal with over the phone, and when you ask for manager, they are always busy and not available. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS HORRIBLE MONSTER!!!!!!!!!! This review is about the company in general and its phone customer service does not have to do with local store staff

Lived here for four years and the service has always been bad. Ive had technicians come out several times because wed often get every third word coming through and the picture would pixelate and freeze. One technician said hed put in a work order because the signal was dropping out at the line on the poles. Its never been fixed and the signal is especially bad when when its windy because the line gets impeded by a neighbors tree. Satellite might be spotty with clouds/rain but charter is guaranteed worse where I live.

I have never had such horrible service and help than I have with charter/spectrum. I cancelled them before and they came back saying they had improved everything and it is still just as horrible. I just even called to see if I could pay 3 days after the day they have me but they said no we will stop your service and restart it when you pay. They dont want to get my cable or Internet to ever work and they cant give me 3 days. Really uggggg cant stand them i will look for a new provider..

One star is being generous. I ordered new internet from Charter at the end of October and it has only worked intermittently. They simple dont care. I pay a ridiculous amount of money for my internet and it doesnt work and they simple dont care. DO NOT go with Charter if you dont have to. Worst internet I have ever had, EVER. They recommended info with someone else or I pay double and get a business line. They said they can guarantee no problems with a business line.... HA !!!
