I work in Brea and we have the following issues with this branch: - We get other peoples mail...I mean from addresses that are not even near us and we get it just about everyday. It makes me wonder what they do to our outgoing mail. - They seem to like to revolve their carriers or they just have a fast turn around, so when we get a new carrier they show up at different times or come when we are already closed or they deliver at lunch and dont know where to pick up our outgoing mail (even though its in plain site). - Its incredibly hard to get someone on the phone. When you miraculously do, they seemed bothered or dont care about your issue or concern, despite telling them that our mail is actually important. - Sometimes for some reason, on regular non-holiday business weekdays, our carrier doesnt show up at all. And we have no idea why because we cant get a hold of anyone on the phone. The only positive thing I have to say is that our current 2 carriers are really nice and I enjoy talking to them for the brief periods that they are here. They are the reason this branch gets two stars and not one.

I was in the Brea post office lobby about 6 a.m. recently to mail a package at the self serve kiosk. After printing the postage for my package, I absentmindedly put the package in the bin before putting the postage label on it. A woman postal worker had been coming in and out of the back office to the lobby and I explained to her what I had done. She said she did not have a key for the package area and the package staff would not be in until noon. As I contemplated what to do next, she offered to take the label and leave it for the package staff. I was grateful for this offer but also understood there was no guarantee the label and package would be united. By Tracking I saw a package with my label was on its way. Three days later the correct package reached its destination. The postal workers really came through for me!

This has to be one of the most anal post offices ever. The clerks are as stale as robots. Seems like theyve been processing so much mail thats all they know. A femail clerk there refused to postmark my certified receipt just because I didnt write down the address and zip code! I just use a simple 3 digit code so that I dont have to write the entire address every single time I send a certified mail, which is about 50 per week. Could you imagine how much time Id waste if I had to write every single address down everytime I sent a certified mail out? So she refused to postmark my receipt. OMG~! Maybe they just have too much time to waste, I dont know what their deal is but I rather drive all the way to La Habra then have my Saturday ruined by these monotonous robots.

I went on the website to look into going to the PO for a passport. The afternoon hours were listed to "close" at 2:30. At just after 1PM, I called the two phone numbers listed - one went unanswered, the other was repeatedly busy. So, I drove over there, got there just before 2PM and went in, the Passport door had a sign "ring once". I rang and waited. After a minute or so, one of the clerks said "theyre closed". I looked at the sign by the door, it said they closed at 2PM. I pointed that out to the clerk, he laughed with his customer and said, "they close at 1PM". So - our government at "work".... website says 2:30PM door at the post office says 2PM actually they close at 1PM Man, I love paying taxes.

What a lousy experience. Mark (guy with the ponytail) helped me.. or should I say.. Flat-out lied to me... Saying that someone was ahead of me, in the passport line, while all the while.. there was NO ONE even in the office.. So after 30 minutes of waiting he unlocked the door, turned on the light, and proceeded to attempt to help me.. When I asked why he told me there was someone ahead of me.. He ignored me, and went on.... If you dont want to deal with customers Mark, then transfer to the back of the office, to where you are out of sight.. What a jerk !!!! No wonder the US Postal service is having trouble.. Ill find another post office to go to, when I need to go...

This is the worst customer service post office I have ever been acquainted to. Nobody is around to answer phone calls, or to help assist you. The delivery drivers are quite rude when you speak with them, they dont knock at your door with a package for businesses and just leave without delivering said packages. Then you call and the driver basically says Im SOL and can either pickup my package myself after 5pm or I have to wait for him till the next day, which is today yet of course its Veterans Day and the post office is closed. I will make sure to never again use the services this post office provides, I guess Ill go to La Habra. Thank you.

Workers are teamsters so they (get it done). Stellar service and to satisfy tech cravings they have several machines where you can buy stamps, weigh packages or print a label. The wait here at times is non-existent or 15-20 deep on the weekends, if you time it right its perfect on non Friday or Holiday periods. This post office has a great Eagle mural and is clean. PO Boxes are offered here. Delivery has been accurate for the last thirteen years (good and bad news) and I am grateful for carrier Steve and team who I have come to know.

Our mail carrier is the worst. Carrier simply refuses to deliver packages to the front door. Neighbors are wandering around delivering mis-delivered packages, mail stops are ignored as are forwarding instructions. Moved in 11 months ago and I am still getting mail for prior owner and his deceased wife. His wife has been dead for 3 years. ..Speaking with the carrier is of no avail.

I recd a open big manila envelope today!! I cant believe postman left this in my box with no explanation.!!!!! I know what should have been in there and they cant be replaced. Now I know why Brea PO has so few stars, I give a minus 5. Tried calling several times , get same recording "Busy call back".Thats a pile of ....!!! Read between the lines.

If I could take a star I would, one star is still too many This place is the absolute worst for answering the phone or delivering a package to correct address. They have delivered to wrong address multiple times and the employees behind the counter...good luck with help from them. I am glad to know our tax dollars are being put good use.

Passport office sign on the door says they open at 9:00. Its 9:39 still no one here. The lady at the desk said they have to service the line first before they get to the passport waiting list but the line is never ending.... Ive been here since 8:40 Im the first person on the waiting list yet I still have to wait over an hour.

Customer experience is at the worst level here , they are rude , be prepared to be amazed by this government employees , I had my stuff stolen from my box and they did not reimburse me, insisted on filing a police report and then have me context Amazon to get refund while they sit and watch .
