I paid for a vehicle inspection. What I feel I received was Alexs best effort to sell me every available service, ranging from replacing every conceivable fluid to headlight restoration. He advised that I needed a brake fluid flush. When I advised that I had recently performed that, he back peddled and stated that it was just based on manufacturers recommendation. He continued to offer me expensive services solely because they were manufacturers recommendations. I can read my owners manual for that. When I picked up my vehicle his unethical behavior continued. While I was being helped by someone else, Alex couldnt resist injecting himself into the conversation, making a snyde comment about me driving a "broken vehicle" despite only finding one actual issue. Later he told me my $2400 quote was not bad. He shared that the owner of a 2004 Yukon had a repair estimate approximately $9000. I find it unacceptable to share another customers estimate with me. I feel I wasted $90 to have my vehicle "inspected". At least I know where NOT to entrust any future vehicle repairs. Update: Everything above is accurate about my experience. I feel its necessary to provide an update since posting. The general manager and owner have both reached out to me to apologize for the situation and try to make it right. At no point did I request a refund, but was given one after speaking with them. I feel that theyve gone above and beyond in trying to provide service recovery. That said, as Ive shared with them, trust was eroded by a poor experience. At the time of my review I was certain Id never come back. While I havent decided to give another try, my experience with them has been positive and may cause me to give them another shot at earning my trust and business. I will update if that occurs.

On the recommendation of my mom, who received a recommendation from someone at her church, Fellowship Community, I brought my vehicle in for estimate on some work I knew needed to be done. They told me I needed to have my brakes done immediately, including replacing the rotors as they could no longer be machined. Additionally, I needed to replace an entire axle shaft and all of my struts, which they recommended I do immediately. On top of this they informed me that my blower motor, which was working the morning I delivered the car, was no longer functioning and needed to be diagnosed. The estimate for parts was much higher than expected, so after checking out the cost of the parts online I called the dealership, using the exact lingo provided on the Christian Bros. estimate, and got a quote for hundreds of dollars less. When I brought the car to the dealership, they said the rotors could be machined and the brakes still had several millimeters on them so they were not an urgent need. While the vehicle did need struts, their quote was almost $600 less! The blower motor transistor had blown out (coincidence?) and needed to be replaced and, surprise, the axle shaft was fine, all I needed to replace were bushings and a dust boot. When I showed the Christian Brothers quote to the guy at the dealership he laughed, stating “that’s not a very Christian quote. We’re the dealer, and the fact that our quote was lower, let alone that much lower, is amazing!” After the service my mother received, I can only conclude that my error was not announcing they were recommended by my church. It seems as though they are only decent if they know you’re a “fellow Christian,” if not, they make up the difference on you!

I have very bad experience these guys, be aware they are interested in money not anything on service . Here is the complete review: Their free inspection: please dont trust their free service, they are not experts. I went for my oil change, they done initial inspection and said car breaks were failed need to replaced, then I asked them apart from breaks anything wrong in my car ? They confidently said nothing wrong in the car except breaks. I really trusted them, so I decided to go ahead with oil change and break pads. So far everything fine. I paid their bill and drove my car out side of the service center, I realized that my car window not working, then went back and asked them how is it possible everything was fine when I gave it to them. Honestly my car electrical system was good before giving to them, they opened my car windows and said motor failed, even then I trusted them and decided to change motor, they replaced my motor paid the bill drove my car from service center, immediately I realized my lock and side mirror movements not working. Again went back asked them, their answer is they dont know and they are not responsible for these things. They said switch failed we will replace, replaced and again said total electrical system failed need to check. I fully frustrated with their attitude and drove away my car with all the problems they introduced. Alex, Joe - they attended for my car service, please please dont trust them. By the way I spent money around 900$ + my 2 days work cost around 1000$ its all waste.

I went in one day before going on a long road trip. I had them look at my GMC to get it checked before travelling to New Jersey and back. I chose the courtesy check instead of a $100+ diagnosis which I was fine with. They came up with a report of my front suspension that needed attention. They quoted me more then $2,000 to do the job. Now, I decided to do nothing because I had little time before the trip.I got to St. Louis and stopped at SEARS to look at it. They didnt say I had an issue and they worked on a quick alignment. The wheel was a bit off and I had a pullot on the road so thats why I had do the alignment. They aligned my car at SEARS with no issues or replacements. During the trip I had no problem with the car except for a little oil leak with the filter which they had pointed out to me. I am grateful for there attention to detail (thanks Christian Brothers) but if you want to save money I will get a second opinion before paying up. I decided to do the front suspension myself if it really caused me to look at the issue again. I got back from my trip and I had no issue with the suspension and I felt the alignment was all it needed. I chose 5 stars because they are welcoming, they take you back and show you underneath the car and point to you the issue and I will recommend them to those that cant fix their own car. But be aware they might take your lack of expertise and quote you for something not really needed. I hopened this helps.

Update (2-14-14): I recently brought my car in for some routine maintenance and as always the service was great. Jared (the owner) brought me to work and also picked me up despite rush hour traffic. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that my car had been washed at no extra cost. CBA has proven they will go the extra mile (literally) to provide great customer service and quality work. (12-4-13) I first discovered CBA while in Houston. I did some price shopping with some local shops and to my surprise found that CBA was actually cheaper even though it was a franchise. At all of the locations I have been to, their pricing has always been up front and their estimates have been correct. I have never felt pressured to get any of the recommended work done and they have always been understanding about me wanting to wait. I have also noticed when they find minor things that need to be fixed, such as a leaky hose while flushing the power steering, they take care of this at no additional charge. The best part of all is the free shuttle ride to and from work! The Arapahoe location is no exception, I have received the same great quality service here as at all the other locations I have been to.
