Feeling really bitter that I just spent 3 hours waiting and paid a 115 bucks for a diagnoses on my Mazda 6 and they still dont even know whats wrong with it. Then Steve tells me to expect 350 when I come back just so they can keep trying to figure out whats wrong. Now I have to pay another mechanic to even diagnose my car much less repair it. They kept inferring it was my brake pads but I was paying for a professional to solidly tell me whats wrong with my car. They could have at least cut me a deal since they didnt even diagnose my car. Should have taken it to Bob Penkus in the first place but I try hard to support small local businesses and they assured me they knew how to work on Mazdas. If they cant diagnose an issue in 3 fricken hours it doesnt seem true that they are qualified to handle repairs on Mazdas. Im so disappointed and I really couldnt afford the diagnose fee this time of year. I wont be back. Total waste of my time. UPDATE: Took it to Bob Penkus like I should have in the first place they had it diagnosed as as failed BCM in 30 minutes.

Had my car towed to Steve Mills Racing for diagnostics. Was told it would be $1200 to replace fuel pump. Couldnt afford that so had it towed back to my house. Paid the $150 bill for diagnostics. When my car was towed back to me, there was a plastic bag taped over the drivers side window. I called and asked what had happened, because when I last saw my car the window was working properly. They stated that it is normal for them to roll down the window before working on a vehicle and it wouldnt roll back up. They stated that it must have not been working before it was dropped off so it wasnt their fault. I disagreed with this so the individual I spoke with stated that he would ask the owner, Steve, and see how he wanted to proceed. A few hours later I received a call and the gentleman said that Steve did not feel that it was his responsibility to correct the problem. Quote "We will just have to agree to disagree". They create a problem and then refuse to fix said problem.

They charge $90 an hour which is better than the dealerships $125. I took my Cherokee to them for a random no start. They called me next day said the fixed it. that it was a bad relay. Ok great. then they called me back and said that it still wouldnt start. ok. next day they say it is now fixed, faulty nss switch. ok they ended up charging me $678. $435 for the nss. its $279 at advance. I asked him if it was oem part he said he thought so, blatant lie he knew it was aftermarket and $25.99 for the relay. they cost about 25 cents. so they made it appear they were doing me right. On the labor they were, they just raped me on the parts and im smart enough to know they did. another business out to make maximum profit not to provide true honest quality service. glad my truck is fixed! didnt appreciate being hit over the head on cost with a fake smile. Thankful my truck runs. Paid too much! Not impressed. they are worth one star!

These guys are awesome! We were new in town, when my husband was in an accident in my moms car (1996 Camry). On the spot, I called them to see what to do with the car (we thought it was a goner). After recommending a good towing company, they suggested we have the car towed to them, and they would check out the damage the next day. Low and behold, we had the car back, two days after our accident, in working condition for a reasonable cost. We were delighted that the car even looked and acted like the good old car we were used to. This is only one of our experiences with Steve Mills Racing. I highly recommend this friendly, conscientious group of guys to care for your car.

I love that I know this place will treat me right. I love that that they are not just out to make an extra dollar on unnecessary repairs. Their prices are standard, so dont expect some kind of 19.99 brake special performed by someone who is probably unfit to work on a bicycle let alone a car. I also like that often times, there are some real classics being worked on. Those are somebodys babies, and they took them to get the best care possible. I have no idea what those other two gripe about. Some people are never happy, and you cannot expect them to polish turds, and do it for the price of jiffy lube. My personal tip: Ask for Andrew, that boys got the skillz!

In my younger years I used to turn wrenches but times have changed to where I needed a shop with integrity, which is hard to come by in Colorado Springs. I am ever so grateful to the lady that suggested his shop several repairs ago. Even my wife, who has been condescended upon at other shops, enjoys Steves group for the respect they show and the willingness to explain things without the "Little Lady" attitude. So, if you are looking for a shop that does the job with integrity, honest pricing, respects the car and the driver, see Steve Mills Racing.

What I like about this shop is they will work with me on what will be done and what may need to be done, or what I will do on my own. They are very flexible and will take the time to talk to me as long as needed for me to understand what is wrong and what needs to be done. I dont feel intimidated working with Steve or his staff. I would recommend them to anyone. I have a friend that went to Mills Racing because a previous shop just couldnt fix his cars issues. He is now happy with his vehicle and Mills Racing.

I have been going to Steve Mills for years with my Honda pickup. Steve and his employees have gone the extra mile to make sure my vehicle stays working. Had an issue with it losing charge over night and Steve didnt give up trying to find the solution. After several days, they were able to see for themselves what was happening and fix the issue. I know I can count on Steve Mills Racing to take care of my truck needs. Thanks for all your team has done for me.

Have taken my 67 Mustang to the Mills shop three times in the last year and have always been impressed with the work. Most recently, had suspension work done - the tech went through everything while the car was on the lift and as always, Steve discussed the work with me prior to paying and had personally taken the car for a drive to ensure work was complete as needed. If you have a classic car, this is really the shop for you.

I took my 56 chevy in to get some electrical work done and have the carb rejeted. After taking care of the bill, Steve told me to drive the car for awhile to make sure it was right. The car ran great but on take off it had a slight hesitation, I ran it back up to the shop and Steve dialed it in at no additional charge. Great service. Gary Pierce
