Today I called because I searched the internet wanting a specialist in Kias and found Mastermind touting their expertise. I have a problem with one of my vehicles and I felt it would be best evaluated by some one specially trained in Kia. When I called in I spoke to a girl named Heidi. There were little children bawling in the background and it sounded like a child care center instead of a repair shop. I explained that I owned a used car dealership and needed expertise in my issue and asked if I could speak to someone about it. She was frank and dismissive, she stated that it was the policy of the shop not to work with used car dealers. I asked why that was and she stated that they had been burned by dealers in the past and that they wouldnt work with any car dealers. I explained that I had money just as good as any other customer and I was happy to put it up front. She restated that it was policy not to help me. I asked if she could at least let me talk with a technician about my specific question. She curtly refused. I asked then if I could speak to the owner, (I felt that this treatment was out of line for a business that seemed to be interested in growth), she again told me "no". I pressed the issue and explained that I have ran a business in Colorado for the last 20 years with good review and positive business relations with other businesses. Again she said "no". I told her that this kind of deliberate prejudice and rudeness would merit a negative review on social media and her response was "Go Ahead..I dont care!" Then she hung up. Well here is your review; I am a customer, a spurned customer, for what? Just wanting service like you advertise! I have sold Kias for years to numbers of customers. I would never act as your representative has, and therefore I will never send my customers your way, I will in truth turn them away from you. There was no decorum by your representative. I can promise you that your pretentious and pompous phone commandant has lost you business today. If you dont want to sell your services to other professionals in the business such as car dealers...post it on your website!

First, I want to say that I am so happy that we found Mastermind Enterprises. We recently bought a used car 3 months prior and it was working fine until it stalled on my husband on his way to work. He called our insurance company and they towed it to Mastermind Enterprises. My husband called and told me that they fit him right in and offered to do a full diagnosis of the car. They gave us a call back pretty quickly and gave me the price for the repairs. Honestly, I was a little skeptical because we have a mechanic that we have used for 6 years and I did not really trust a place I have not used before. I even called our mechanic and they were going to be $400 higher for the exact same work. Heidi walked me through what needed to be fixed to make the car run (an new Crankshaft position sensor) but then gave me an option to fix the timing belt and all the pulleys that are located right in the same area....which saved me an additional $418 in labor. Our car had 80K miles and this work really should have been done around 60K miles. They are genuine honest and courteous people. It is so rare now days to get what you pay for and I believe Norm and his family are the way people used to be....honest, friendly and respectable. It truly is hard to find REAL people in the business world today that will go out of their way to make sure things are done right. Thank you both for helping our family in this terrible situation. Mastermind Enterprises did an amazing job on both our cars. We first took our Acura MDX to them in September. It needed a lot of work and we had been putting it off since the quote was so high from the dealership where we bought it. Heidi and Norm quoted us over $1000 under the dealership quote. They were thorough and efficient with repairing our vehicle. It has never ran better. Last week our other car, a Buick Rainier, unexpectedly broke down while my sister was driving it on the Intestate. We had it towed to Mastermind Enterprises after hours. We were expecting significant mechanic issues and a high cost in repair. Norm later called the next day with a very low estimate for repairs and would have it done by that evening. We found out it was caused by repairs another dealership completed on the vehicle previously. This vehicle is also running better than it has in a very long time. We will be bypassing any dealerships from this point on and going straight to Mastermind Enterprise. They are transparent in their communication. They wont do any work without confirming with the owners first. We are very grateful to have found a family owned, reliable, transparent mechanic who cares about their customers. Thank you Heidi and Norm!

I recently picked up my car from Mastermind Enterprises, and thought that it was about time I put up a comment about them. Norm Olsen has been my mechanic for about ten years now; I even have a certificate naming me as his first customer. There are reasons why I have taken my cars consistently to wherever Norm has been doing business for that long: It is possible to find competent mechanics. It is possible to find totally honest mechanics. It is not so easy to find one who combines both traits to the highest degree. Whenever I have taken a car to Norm for anything from a mis-aimed headlight to a complete engine rebuild it has come back fixed. He has let me know when problems were smaller than I imagined, has always informed me as to how long I can wait for a needed repair before it becomes a bigger problem, and has at times worked out less-expensive, tide-me-over options when the ideal repair was too much to handle at the time. I have absolute confidence in Norm Olsen and Mastermind Enterprises.

I work as a locksmith so Im constantly driving, that means my car will need constant fixing. I heard a squeaking sound from the left front wheel, I went over and got feedback that the ball joints need to be replaced (2 upper and 2 lower joints) on one wheel. They quoted me 800$ and I had to get it done quickly and I was already there. It took them around 8 hours to get it done. I also needed a tune-up and replacing the rear rotors and I was quoted 1200$. According to the feedback I got from a different shop next to my house I got scammed for 300-400$ on the ball joints and he was trying to scam an extra 700$ on the rotors and tune-up. I just replaced the rotors, pads, spark plugs and filters for 550$ with no issues whatsoever and it took him 4 hours. The mechanic also said that he would charge 490$ replacing the ball joints on TWO wheels and not one. I feel very disappointed and will not continue doing business with them.

Norm and Heidi have been great to me and my 97 Jeep Wrangler. After a rough trip on Thanksgiving of last year I needed a new transmission in my Jeep and Norm followed up with me the same day. Both he and Heidi helped my family and I through deciding on what part to purchase for the Jeep and he was able to repair my Jeep within two days. Ever since then I have been going to Mastermind for anything from a basic oil change, to more hardware repairs and I went by to get a basic inspection when the Jeep was acting funny. Every time I stop into Norm and Heidis shop, they are both welcoming and are genuinely invested to how I am and how the Jeep is. Their family business is incredibly efficient, timely, and honest. I respect their service and I feel blessed to have found a loyal auto shop for my Jeep. Ill be taking my future cars there as well. Thank you both!
