On May 5, 2016 I took my 2004 Mercedes E500 in for a fluid top off and I asked for a car wash. To make a long story short my car wouldn’t start after the top off and when it finally did all the warning lights on the dash were flashing. The service manager blamed my car of being old and that the problem was most likely normal wear and tear. I disagreed with his statement as I always have my vehicles serviced regularly at the dealership. Not to mention my car is clean and well maintained. I asked if the service tech made a mistake or did something wrong. The Service Manager (Clark) became very defensive and told me -I can leave if I’m going to be accusing his staff of “doing something to my car”. Basically he told me, I had no right to question the quality of their service. Remember, I only came in for a fluid top off, what could possibly go wrong.. I was then given a choice to leave or pay the cost for a diagnosis. After going back and forth with Clark and being spoken to as if I were a criminal off the street. I agreed to $300.00 to replace the Crank Shaft Sensor after he waived the diagnosis fee. I didn’t want to take a chance on driving off the lot and end up on the side of the road some place. Next problem.. Clark asked if I had a ride. I stated I did not and that’s when I was told there were not any loaner cars available for me . As long as I have been spending money at Mercedes Benz Dealerships from California, Minnesota to Colorado I have ALWAYS been given a loaner, but not this time! I simply refused to let them service my car and drove off. I have never been treated so rudely at a high end Dealership before and would never recommend this Dealership to anyone. The Mercedes Benz Dealership of Denver failed to provide me with the quality service that I deserve. The staff should be trained to treat everyone with respect and stop judging people. The reason I say judge people, is because of a previous review from another customer that experienced the same sort of questionable behavior. “Stereotyping” in my opinion. Also, there was another customer waiting who witnessed this awful act of poor customer service and also questioned Clark’s rude behavior. This customer was so upset that he gave me his phone number and said call me if you need me for anything! Something smells in this place! The next day I took my vehicle to a local Midas and was told the sensor went bad due to excessive dirt and oil. Now maybe it could have been normal wear and it was a coincident that it totally went bad when I pulled in the lot or maybe the tech spilled oil on the sensor. Whatever the case it’s been fixed by someone else for $250.00 I do however blame Mercedes Benz of Denver for their poor, below average and unsatisfactory level of customer service. They deserve zero stars! This type of behavior along with poor customer service stands to harm the reputation and goodwill of this Dealership. Not to mention, the Law mandates that dealerships do not engage in any unfair, deceptive, misleading, unethical, discriminatory, fraudulent, illegal or otherwise prohibited practices.

First let me say, I love Mercedes Benz. Its so very unfortunate that this particular dealership is authorized to sell such a fine piece of machinery. Thank goodness in the Denver area you have several other choices any of which are better than this one. The whole buying experience has been deplorable. This is my fifth MB so I know what should be expected. They didnt honor the "we owe you", they didnt thoroughly check the car for problems as they stated, or they would have caught what is now my $2500 brunt to bear. They also didnt write all of the information down on the paperwork they provided me regarding we owe you, now I know why - so they could bait and switch me. When I brought the car in, no one called to update me on the time frame - Theresa was supposedly my service rep although since she never felt the need to call I have no idea if Theresa really exists. I finally called and was told the car was ready. When I got there I asked for Theresa and stated I was here to pick up my car. A gentlemen goes back to talk to someone (I can only guess Theresa) and comes back with the keys and says "here you go". Really? Here you go?? I said what was done to it? He was clearly annoyed went back and talked to someone and came back with no further information. I ended up talking to Rich (used car manager which I now refer to as Slick Willy), he said what they did to the car and it was all fixed. I get into it and gee guess what it wasnt fixed. No attention to detail, no care that it was very inconvenient to get a ride to the dealership only to not be able to take the car. Fast forward to the next day I get a call from Rich, "yeah we arent going to fix it because its going to cost too much. According to Rich the "we owe you" only means theyll look at it, doesnt mean theyll fix it. I asked if hed buy the car back and of course his response was disgustingly laughable as I imagined it would be. Song and dance. I pick the car up so disgusted by Slick Willy Rich the used car manager that I barely said two words and guess what??? The one “we owe you” that they said they fixed – they didn’t. I guess the first clue for them, if they checked their work, would be the parking front lamp warning light is still on. I can’t be bothered, having someone else fix it. There is so much more deception and lies however I wanted to keep this as short as possible so I can post as many places as possible. Morale of the story. Mercedes Benz of Denver is not a trustworthy dealership; it is not one that deserves to sell MB. I will tell anyone that listens, and thankfully I know a lot of people, to stay away from this dealership. Certainly I know, little ole me, can only effect so many readers. But if one customer decides not to buy from them because of this review I will be very happy. Buy from Mercedes Littleton or Westminster. It will be interesting if anyone at Mercedes Benz of Denver cares enough to follow up with me.

Please go somewhere else. The first time I set up an appointment to have my car serviced, they told me it would take no more than 2 hours. I arrange my schedule and leave work for this appointment. Not until I"m there, they then tell me that they wont have time to get to my car that day and have no loaner cars available. After taking time off work and wasting time driving back and forth, I have to reschedule. Due to now not being able to trust the time frames given, I ask to reschedule to a time when a loaner car will be available. They said they wont have any availability until a month later during a time I happen to be out of town. Therefore, I have to wait to reschedule at a time when their limited availability aligns with my schedule. I finally get an appointment that will work and drop off my car on a Friday and am told it will be ready for pick up by the end of the day. I am then called and told that it wont be ready until Monday. On Monday, I am told that it is ready for pick up. However, I am told that the amount will be a lot more than the estimate. Although I am told the issue I was having with my headlamps is covered by the warranty, I am told I need to pay additional for labor. If there was a defect with the car that is covered by warranty, why am I paying more to fix what shouldnt be malfunctioning in the first place? After driving there and dropping off the loaner car, I am told my car is ready to go. I get in my car to drive away and since it is raining, I turn on the wiper blades. None of the wiper functions work. This was not an issue when I dropped the car off and never had problems with this feature. Now it doesnt work at all. When I walk back in to let them know, they dont know what is wrong and tell me that no one is left to fix it so theyll have to keep my car longer. Leaving me again wasting my time leaving work and driving back and forth for no reason. How is it that there are now problems that need to be fixed with my car that werent there when I dropped it off? Ill now have to wait to see when Im told the problem they caused is allegedly fixed and drive back and forth a third time to hope that is my last trip. Although the people I interacted with were nice, this doesnt offset the inconvenience and incompetence, especially given the high prices they charge. Ill be looking for another place to service my car in the future.
