Always hate looking for a mechanic that I feel I can trust. I had been having odd clutch issues for a couple summers, but only when the weather got over 90 degrees. Sounds strange I know. Well, I finaly picked a couple of places and presented the situation. The crew at Northglen Auto Repair was very good to listen, offer suggestions and eager to fix what they felt the problem was. I hesitated and shopped the problem a bit more. After another month I finaly took my car in. The job was done in a timely manner and ready to roll. I was shown the replaced (bad) part and told to drive it for a couple days and see if it was fixed to my satisfaction. Because it was a temprimental issue that acted up only in the warmest weather conditions it was hard to determine if it was an accurate diagnoses. Well, after a couple days I was quite happy and with nothing more than an additional adjustment to my clutch pedal itself, which they did on the spot, I am running better than ever. The overall attitude of the shop and its mechanics was a great experience and I have since referred some of my family and friends there. Very satisfied with my visit to N.A.R. Thanx guys

Technicians you can trust. Seriously. I brought my 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee in last week because it started to run a little hot. I was able to drop it off Thursday night after hours and leave my key in the drop box. By 11am Friday morning they had already had the issue diagnosed, had the parts to repair the problem, and provided me with a quote and an estimated time of completion. They were fully honest with me about other potential issues, and fortunately none arose. When they wanted to keep it another night, they kept in full contact with me about the reasons they wanted to keep an extra eye on it, and to make sure it was done well. They came in and finished it on a Saturday (Outside of normal business hours! I was shocked by the great service!), and I had my car by the afternoon. Runs great, and I could not have been more pleased. I will absolutely rely on these guys for any of my cars needs, and recommend you do the same. Thanks so much to Mike and Kevin, and everyone that provided me with such great service at an affordable price!

These guys know cars. I had a ticking sound coming from the engine in my Honda. Before I talk to the people at Northglenn auto shop, I have tried craigslist, local mechanics, friends, and the dealership. It was suggested that I replace a camshaft, put different oil in the car, replace the engine, and the infamous "Hondas just tick" It was frustrating and getting expensive with these wrong diagnostics, and problem was getting worse. In this business you get what you pay for. I took my car to these guys, explained the situation. Got the car back in a week, and I couldnt be happier. The car sounded great, runs awesome. The car was a joy to drive again. I dont think they are the cheapest" in town, but then why should they be? They offer expert solutions and back it up with years of experience. I loathe dealing with car problems. I dont like noise, squeaks, and actually finding someone that knows what they are talking about is rare. These guys know cars I am really happy to have found them.

I replaced my exhaust system and both oxygen sensors myself. The next day I started experiencing problems with the car shutting off in traffic. I took it to Northglenn Auto Repair explained what I had replaced and where they should look, I paid $100 dollars for diagnostics, which is normal pricing in my experience. I let them have the car for two days and they came back with a diagnosis of a bad PCM. They offered to fix it for me for $600, how gracious. I knew that this was probably a wrong diagnosis because the car started acting up only after replacing the two oxygen sensors and the catalytic converter. I looked at the PCM myself and it was practically immaculate, with no corrosion water damage or missing pins. I was given the wrong downstream oxygen sensor and that was the problem the whole time. I saved $600 by not listening to these guys. They are either inexperienced or lazy, either way is bad. I would not suggest their services. I cannot get my money back but, I can at least write this review.

I brought my truck in because the battery had a drain on it and had a rough idle. I got a call the next day saying my bran new carb was "junk" and needed a new one. After telling them that the carb was new and might need tuned but its not "junk" I got a call from them saying that the engine was junk and needed a new one. They then told me that "I was in luck" because another customer had backed out of an engine so he had one there that hed install for $3000. I went to pick it up and was told that the drain on the battery was fixed and charged me $120. After letting it sit for a couple of days it will not start. The folks here are dishonest. Beware if they tell you that something major it "junk." You may end up spending a lot of $$$ and still having the same issue you took it in for.

I have been having problems with my 2001 Ford ranger. It has been making noise in the front end. I took it to a local firestone for an oil change and had them look for the reason for the noise. I had already spent 400.00 getting a drive shaft.n and the noise was still there. So firestone checked and came up with the differential. They do not do that work. Upon recommendation from a friend, we took the truck to Northglen Auto Repair. They looked it over and found A) it was not the diffential at all, it was the bearings. B) the break calipers were missing bolts.(a danger to drive). I was reassured that they had my best interests and safty in mind and they treated me with fairness. I would reccommend them to anyone.

These guys are great and I highly recommend them. I usually do most of my work on vehicles myself and mainly because I dont trust most mechanics and every time in the past I have had horrible service and shoddy repairs from other shops. Not here, these guys know their stuff and they had the chance to overcharge me if they wanted to. Nope $75 and my Duramax check engine light was gone. By the way the Chevrolet Dealership couldnt figure it out. These guys, 1 day! Im a customer as long as they are in business, maybe I wont make as many of my own repairs too!

This place is awesome. My wife brought her Accord in for the check-engine/maintenance light and a headlight issue. They were able to diagnose the issue pretty quickly. They fixed an issue with the lights and gave us an extremely good price on both the lights and diagnostic + maintenance light fix. Im not a mechanic, but my wife used to be (shes even more skeptical about auto shops), and we will both be taking our cars there from now on.
