I took my car into C&J when I was in a horrible situation, my car was broke down, and I mean completely. I work in Denver right across from them and so I thought how conveient, I will just tow it over there. I did and the problem was extensive about a $600 fix, something I can not afford and so my Dad did the work it ended up being the air compressor along with a few other minor issues. My Dad was able to do all the work , but to get my air working ( which was only needed since I live 55 miles from where I work and this was July ) I needed to get the A.C. charged so I thought I would give them my buisness. When I took my car in the a.c. worked not to its full potential but it worked none the less. When they returned my vehicle 1 day before my birthday the a.c. was not needed due to a cold front so when I thought it was working it was really just cold air from outside, when the summer weather returned I quickly noticed the a.c. was in fact not working. I was waiting for my father to return from out of town to take a look, when one day on my lunch break my car battery light came on while I was driving, I took it to a local auto store, they tested it and told me it was my alternator that was bad. Out of convenienence and faith I went back to C&J I was returned my vehicle with nothing more than the same problem and a SPRAYPAINTED alternator. C&J are LIARS and THEIVES. Do not give them a nickel!!!

UHAUL RENTAL RETURN- These people are not honest, not to be trusted. They charge for things that arent legitimate. They have terrible customer service skills. I would never recommend this location to anyone. The way they conduct business is a very poor reflection on Uhaul. I will dispute these charges with my credit card and with Uhaul. 11/6 Location closed, nobody to inspect and receive the vehicle. Returned clean with 3/4 tank of fuel and dropped the keys. 11/7 a call from the vendor stating the truck was filthy, claiming I owed $25 for cleaning. My friend is my witness that the vehicle was returned as I received it no animals, food or trash in vehicle, only household furniture moved. They withheld checking in the vehicle until the evening of 11/7 after I chatted and called Uhaul (2X) as well as spoke with the Gypsum manager. I spoke C&J twice. They charged me $64.87 for addl mileage, fuel and the blankets, I received and returned the truck with 3/4 tank of fuel. I dont owe $30 surcharge, if it was short it was maybe by a couple gallons. The contract says the $30 surcharge applies if the vehicle is returned with less than 1/4 tank of gas.

The words "honest" and "mechanic" arent often used in the same sentence, but with Joel and the rest of the gang I can frankly say that these are honest mechanics. Recently, I had the oil changed at a major chain because I had a coupon. I was told that I needed right and left front struts. When Joel checked out my car, he gave me the straight dope and saved me hundreds of dollars. Obviously he could have taken advantage of the situation. We have been customers of C & J for years and will continue to be so. I recommend them to one and all.

Ripped me off. Brought it in for a squeaky belt. They charged me $460 to replace 3 belts! 2 days later, squeak was back, this time even louder. They told me "thats life" and that itd be another $680 to replace some major part of the air conditioner. When I asked about the $460 I just spent there on parts and labor and if theyd apply that to what they should have fixed in the first place, they laughed. What a rip off. I wouldnt bring my lawn mower there to get cleaned.

I moved to the neighborhood four years ago and happened by C&J about that time. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. I trust them to keep my best interests in mind and tell it to me exactly as it is and to always treat me with intelligence and respect. My car broke down right at another mechanics parking lot, but I had it towed to C&Js because I knew they would be up-front and honest. I am so grateful for all they do!

I recently had a minor automoblile accident damaging the driver side tail light on my vehicle. C&J was the first automotive repair shop I came across and there was no need to look else where. Joel, the owner, provided great customer service and was honest with the work and the price was right as well. I highy recommend C&J auto services and I will continue to bring my truck there for any auotomotive needs.

Brand new to Denver, and so glad I ended up at this shop! My Husband and I went in to have him fix our steering stabilizer, and he recommended us to Ace to just replace a bolt. Saving us a ton of money and time! Would definitely recommend, he is very honest and will let you know exactly what needs to be done! Love this place, and will for sure be back in the future!

I bought a 15 year old Ford Ranger that looked great but quickly fell apart. I towed the truck to C and J where they fixed it up perfectly, and at a great price. They were completely upfront and honest with me. Theyve earned a long time customer. Fixes: all my gaskets blew top and bottom. They pretty much had to rebuild my entire engine.

Joel has always helped us out in a pinch. We were trying to leave town and our electrical system wasnt working. He stayed overtime to help us solve the problem. You wont find a more honest, trustworthy, and skilled mechanic in the Denver area. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else, and havent for over 20 years!

Great, honest place to get your car looked at. Just moved to Denver and didnt know where to go but I am glad I made the decision to get my oil change here. Went back to get my car checked out because of a loud noise coming from my car and he was able to fix it within 20 minutes.

This is a local, well-established, family business that has been in the neighborhood for a very long time. Charlie and Joel will do right by you, and are mechanics you can trust. They dont hide anything from you and tell it like it is. Its the only place we will go.
