So my husband and I rented a storage space from here for over three years. We were in a very large unit and it was not air conditioned. Before Extra Space bought it out, the prior staff was rude and not helpful. The new staff was nice. However, our belongings had been damaged due rats/mice. Boxes had been damaged and our furniture had been ruined due to their droppings. The company assured they sprayed for rodents yet our stuff was still ruined. After we brought up the issue, they said that there was nothing they could do. After continuous hounding, they said they would file a claim. Here we are 5 months later, after calling and trying to figure out what is going on, and I find out that we are the ones who have to deal with the insurance company and file a claim. The storage place will gladly take your money (and increase your rent) but once youre out, or close to leaving, its not their problem anymore. Very dissatisfied with their service. We kept our stuff their for safe keeping and we just ended up throwing a lot of it away.

As someone who appreciates customer reviews, I really dislike having to post negative ones but this one is very well warranted. When I came in to see Wesley Noland at Extra Space Storage I asked him several times a pointed question about the total monthly cost and he assured me that it would never exceed $42.80 per month. Even after I specifically expressed my concern about rates changing he assured me again it would stay at $42.80. That was back in July. Now, in December, my rate has been hiked up to $49.22. I feel like I was blatantly lied to by Wesley. After calling him and asking him about the rate change he said that he never told me that and said that in my contract all rates are subject to change. That is definitely not what I was told when I was booking the unit, my mom was witness to the whole conversation with Wesley and can attest to this information. Buyer beware when signing up with extra space storage, they will tell you false information just to get your business.

I visited this location after moving into Florida from another state. I went to 2 other storage companies in this area but did not like their staff or their sales tactics. Wes Noland the store manager went through the entire process with me. It was seamless and easy to do and he helped me decide on the best size for what I was storing. This company offered a free reservation, no security deposit and I was surprised that they give their customers an actual 30 days when signing the lease, no sales gimmicks. Everything was explained clearly. Customers have web access to their account and can use a monthly auto-debit. I would definitely recommend Extraspace to all of my friends and family.

Do not move out early! We were misled into thinking that if we were to get our stuff out early there was a refund incentive. Only to find out we didnt read the fine print in the lease where it says "you must give 1-10 days notice before the billing cycle begins". The best part is they have already opened the storage for someone else to rent even though we have already paid in full for another two weeks. Dont be bamboozled, the only incentive for moving people out early is so they can double charge one unit.

I can not express enough on what GREAT and AWESOME service I got from Wes at Extra Space Storage. He was amazing and answered all my questions I had over the telephone. When I arrived to Extra Space Storage shortly after speaking with Wes, I had the same fantastic experience!! He was a genuine man who you can tell takes pride in everything he does!! I will DEFINITELY recommend this Extra Space Storage location to all my friends and family!!! Thanks for EVERYTHING Wes!!

My mother, a disabled vet, moved her things out of storage 2 weeks early and she was lead to believe by doing this shed get a prorated bill. Very disrespectfully, Ed informed us that its in the lease (fine print!) you have to let the office know 1-10 before you hand in the keys to be eligible to get your money back. So great scamming Extra Space for pocketing not only my mothers money, but also whomever else you sold her old lockers to- you made double the money!

i went in 2 rent a storage unit and when i got there it was pouring rain and they were closed. as i was about to leave the onsite manager actually saw me from her window and came outand reopened the store to get me into a unit. could not ask for a company to go more out of their way then they did... to actually open up 5 hours after closing time for 1 customer.... absolutly amazing

It is such a pleasure to store my excess belongings at such a clean, secure, and well staffed storage facility. Doreen and Lyn are so accommodating and pleasant to be around. I would highly recommend Extra Space to all of my friends, acquaintances, and really even to people Ive never met. If I had any complaint, it would be that I dont have more things to store!

Ed and Wes are so kind and courteous, they make you feel like family because they are always happy to see you when you stop by. I feel safe and secure having my belongings here and when I have to come to move stuff, always a good experience. Prices are competitive and they work with you to best fulfill your needs.

Wildly higher cost than other facilities in the same area. Not willing to even talk about reducing it even offered to sign a year contract to get lower cost. Moved out and pay $40 less with one year price freeze. Units on the outside have been refurbished, painted new rolling doors.

I have a very excellent experience with extra space storage. It was a last minute rental and when I arrived at the storage office, they were very helpful and affordable, the sales clerk even looked for extra savings for me. I recommend using extra space storage.

I used extra space storage for 7 months or so. Ive never had a problem with the staff or the utilites I used from them. If I ever needed storage again I would defiantly come to them. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing.
