Today in the mailbox is a Bill from Summit. Our management wanted to be in the cable business where they have absolutely no expertise. So I have to address this with you. With a company that in my opinion appears it should not be the business. Maybe that makes a good match of people who should not be doing what they are doing. I have attached the bill. Just for some history. Summit took about 4 hours of my time to prove they did not have service at this unit. 5 calls with different levels. In the process, they did show an account and billing to the HOA. I did not give a crap about that waste of $600 of the HOAs money. Just chalk it up to folks being in a business they do not belong in. I do not have another 4 hours to waste on the bill to revisit my prior conversations with Summit. THERE WAS NO PRIOR INSTALL OR SERVICE AT champions gate area. THEY SENT A GUY HERE AND I PROVED THAT TO HIM AFTER MY 4 CALLS. Even standing here, it took him and hour to ensure there was not service and about that long again to convince those at his company. Da!!! IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THE INITIAL INSTALL IS COVERED BY THE HOAS AGREEMENT WITH SUMMIT. THIS WAS NOT A TRANSFER!!!!!!!!!!! Besides, in my opinion screwing the HOA out of hundreds, they now want to screw me. I hate to waste your time on such, but those who empower you, though we should be in the cable business, and thus this is an issue that will need your time to resolve. Please advise as due June 20th and if there is some reason I would pay, it should be timely. I ADDRESSED THIS WITH SUMMIT ON THE PHONE AND WITH THE GUY WHO CAME TO SEE IF THERE WAS SERVICE. IT WAS DISCUSSED THIS WAS NOT A TRANSFER, BUT A NEW INSTALL, AND THUS NO FEES!!! Please advise and let me know if I need to deal with Summit directly. If so I will need copies of our billing reflecting payments prior to June on **** on our master bill, our agreement on installs and any window of such for owners obligations, and any amendments to such documents. Sure this is only $50, but this kind of crap has to be exposed and called out for what it is. If pursued, it would appear the HOA would review their billing for service charges and installs, by requesting a report from Summit on all units with installs, all units with working service which could be different, all units with installs where signal is not pinging (can explain if needed), and variance of billed units to that report. Maybe our agreement is not unit specific, and if that is true, then something again I would like to know, as that would suggest we are overpaying for those with service. Again folks paid $$$$$$ for someone to coach them on this, so it should be correct. Anyway at 10:30 on Saturday night, all I give a care about is my bill. It I had not spent hours on this, and then received promises if new service was the situation, I would not get a bill, I would not be emailing.

Update: 8/16/2016, same issue. I made an online payment on 8/14/2016 for two months of my upgraded service. Today I made a call to Summit curious why my services are still disconnected and she informed me of an additional reconnection fee which wasnt displayed on my ledger prior to paying. My recurring payment option didnt save on my account and now theyre charging me another $69.99 reconnection fee. They need a new online system that is competent and doesnt freeze. Ive used Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Internet Explored and still encounter the same issues. Summit then claims I never logged on when the browsing history on my Mac and iPhone show different. Kara was todays representative and told me her supervisor was in a meeting. 01/16/2016, Today I contacted Summit Broadband to complain about my cable and Internet service. Natasha(AMS21) answered the phone and stated I owe charges for my cable installation(I never ordered but received since they assumed I needed to have HD channels) and internet installation. Two months ago when this all occurred, I reached out to them and a female supervisor told me she would enter in my notes to waive both installation charges since they didnt inform me of those additional charges. Before this, I kept contacting them saying Im paying an additional $17.99 for HD channels that dont even work or say Im subscribed to them and good luck trying to use Summit Broadband to watch ABC mobile, CBS mobile, HBO GO... Summit Broadband doesnt seem to find my account to watch TV Shows. Now today, I called and another supervisor named Jerrell(AMS34) stated theyre needing to charge me for both installation charges since no notes are entered under my account and they dont record phone calls. On top of those two charges, a $69 reconnection fee which I dont understand since I live in a condo building(Park Lake Towers) which all 170 units are required to use Summit Broadband and their services. Jerrell was insensitive of the whole situation and was twisting my words throughout the phone call. He said he was only able to waive only one fee if I paid my due balance today and not on Monday(01/18/2016). I used to have Brighthouse and AT&T UVerse. If my HOA didnt include cable, I wouldve avoided Summit Broadband at all costs. I will be expecting a phone call from them manager Monday(01/18/2016) if they remembered to add that in my notes under my account.

Hands down the worst internet company ever. I dealt with comcast, bright house, cox, and even AT&T before but never received terrible service like this one. Summit provides internet to my entire apartment complex. The fees for this are included in the rent each month. Now since living here I was promised to get at least 10 down 10 up. This never happened. Even through direct wall connection the highest i get is around 3 down 3 up. To fix this issue I called the customer service line, and waited around for a good 30 minutes before the person that helped me scheduled a technician. When the tech came out to the complex he knocked on my door and walked away. A simple 3 bang knock then instantly walked away. Aparently he didnt know that I was standing in the living room waiting for him. After chasing him down to come DO HIS JOB, he came in and test my computers connection. He told me to release my IP address which I did and nothing changed. Direct connect to the wall and the release the IP address and nothing happened. He switched the cord running to my computer, nothing happened. Then he calls his office and leaves my room to talk to them. Surprisingly when he came back the internet was boosted to a level of 51 down and 39 up. This was too good to be true. I tested it while he was here and went to other websites to do a speed test and it was the same. I was pleased, happy, and finally relieved that slow internet was behind me. Well not even 20 minutes after he left the internet speed went back down to 3 down 3 up. Clearly they dont realize the type of customers they have. They expect to collect their check and us to roll over. After testing it myself it reaches 85down 56 up. This is a huge increase and everything seems to be working fine now
