Im not one for watching much tv so I never needed cable, and my husband and I both had cell phones so adding a home phone wasnt something we needed. We were with TWC before they switched and locked into a lower price than what spectrum offers but Ive of the spectrum reps talked us into bundling after discussing with her how the internet is seriously lagging and needed checked. I said "why not" and gave it a go. It was only $35 more to my total bill. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Got swindled... so beware if youre an old TWC customer!! Not only is the package junk, but when I told them I didnt want to continue past the free 30 day trial, they charged me for that full month anyway, PLUS now my bill is $12 more every month, because by "upgrading" it allowed them to break the grandfather clause keeping me in that lower bracket! I was never told that would happen before I agreed to it or is have never agreed! HORRIBLE company, shady dealings and poor services. Spectrum is the worst, dont give them your money!!

BUYER BEWARE... Be careful when selecting this cable company. We selected their promotion service that provides a $300 Visa gift card. When it’s time for the VISA card to be issued, we are now being rejected for the $300 card. The reason, according to Time Warner, is because we did not maintain a level of service. Do you know what that level of service change was? After 2 months, we decided to add an additional two more TVs, giving Time Warner more money. Because of this, it voided the VISA card. How in the world is this right? I can see if we went backwards in our service, instead we maintained and went above our service. If this is not a reason to switch, I do not know what is. Plus all the boxes still do not work correctly. So now who is not maintaining the level of service!!!?

Thank you Dawn at the Alliance TWC office! You are a super customer service person! We came into the office to pay our bill yesterday and you saw that a better offer was available for what our service is and offered to lower our bill. You really care about your customers and give feedback to your company on what customers really want. We are long term customers and on time bill payers and it is very much appreciated that you showed you care about us and appreciate our business by acknowledging that we are good customers and helping us to lower our bill. I am supposed to pay $60 a month for high speed internet no cable I pay $90 overcharged $30 a month. I own my router and modem and they know it, yet they charge me for both. This has been an issue since i started with them 9 months ago. If there were another internet service provider in my area i would switch immediately. As far as Im concerned they owe me about $270 i could really use.

Ive had service for one week and have had nothing but problems. I have to reset my cable box all the times because it freezes or just wont work. The first day of service the Internet didnt even work and had to call customer service after hours of no connection. But of course im billed for a servive after a week amd havent even been able to use it .

Excellent experience here as I took in my way outdated DVR and direct exchanged it for a newer model. Got a free HDMI cable and sweet pair of shades also. Seeing a lot of reviews of the service and people mad about their bill. This should be a review of the office rather than the company as a whole.

I have had nothing but problems...not with the actual service but with the ppl on the so called customer service side...they do NOT wana help ne one. N then get smart mouthed with u when u prove them wrong...if i wouldve known all the hassle i had to go thru i wouldve juat payed more n went with AT&T
