Horrible experience. Went there to get my oil changed and they had a special for a full car service for $20. After the service was complete they said I needed to change the bearing on my front driver side tire n it would cost $620 - unless my tires would fall off. I said no thank you but ironically when I drove off the lot my car immediately started making a creaking noise in the exact spot that needed the replacement - it wasnt making the noise before I got the service check. I went back the next day to tell them to check my car again because of the sound and they came back with another issue in the same spot in my car that would cost less but it was an issue unrelated to the problem they stated yesterday - the lady didnt even mention the other problem. She did say that the noise was not their fault even though I explain to her that it was! I ended up driving all the way to Miami w/out the tires falling off- and my mechanic fixed everything for half of what they were going to charge me!!! Also they said the service check and oil change would take 30-45 mins, I was there for over 3hrs!!

took my car in for an alignment, as i had the day before changed my tie rods and an alignment is necessary. the alignment was a little more expensive than i thought it would be at $69. I leave to go to work and leave my car there. About 3 hours later i get a call saying that the tie rods were put on wrong and that the bill would be $114 for the alignment. I arrive to pick up my car in the afternoon to be told that my bill was over $200. No parts were replaced, no extra work has been done. they claimed that the tie rod magically came apart, and they screwed it back in, then went back to doing an alignment. Apparently screwing a bolt down will cost you an extra $130 dollars. Ive been cheated by tires plus, period, theyve stolen from me. I will never, go back to tires plus again, any of them. i will also caution everyone i know of that if they need any car repair, or, even just tires, to go anywhere else. If they treat everyone this way, how the world are they still in business?

Horrible mechanics every time I take my car in there it comes out worse. They replaced my engine, because they said oil was leaking from hoses to the bottom of the engine block (which wasnt a problem no other mechanic has ever mentioned even another tire pluse Ive taken it to. They didnt have the proper tools to time my car nor pressure test my water pump. They took almost an entire month with my car just to put an engine in and Ive had to take it back almost every week since then and this was completeled on November 1st. They didnt replace all my hoseses when they replace my engine which is standard practice when you do a major job like that on top of the fact they said my hoseses were soft when they replaced the engine. Why wouldnt they go ahead and replace that one too, Bolts were missing on my car as well and now my vehicle is sitting at a gas station and wont start because of something they didnt fix.

While the prices are generally competitive, the service knowledge and experience is novice at best. The mechanic who first addressed me came into the office and said "youre tire is coming apart..." And than nothing else. I asked him what that meant and he said "it means you need two new tires." I waited two an a half hours to only be told I need to replace my tires. I came for an alignment that was my conducted until after this conversation. I asked him to describe the tire issue to me and explain how it happened and the most he could do was a gesture of a bump on a tire display. Two more mechanics joined him in the lobby and restated the same very bare idea of what was wrong with my tire. They had little expertise or knowledge about anything related to tires and this place is supposed to specialize in tires! Throughly disappointed with the entire experience and I will not be back.

Went for what i thought was going to be an expensive battery change because there was a lot of corrosion. It was supposed to come out to like $130 or so for a new 60month battery and the service fee. After the car was pulled in, Rob realized the battery was fine, but just needed to be recharged, and i sincerely appreciate the honesty. There are plenty of shops around here that would have simply charged the bill in order to get the profit from selling the battery. What began as an annoying car-trouble day ended with these guys making my day. Super honest and down to earth guys who wont try to screw you by doing work that doesnt need to be done. I highly recommend them, however, i would look around for cheaper prices on batteries to make sure you are getting the best price, then get it installed here. Cheers!

Good for the small stuff and pretty cheap too. I wouldnt trust them to fix my transmission or even suspension for that matter but I havent had a problem with this place as a more competent version of Super Lube for doing spark plugs and just about anything with tires, including brakes. Theyre a little cheaper than Auto Xperts but I dont understand all these reviews. Ive been to this place 5 times at least and theyve never broken anything, then again as a rule of thumb I watch mechanics as they work on my car to pass the time (not like anything interesting is ever on the TV in their waiting room). I thought the customer service was friendly enough but frankly all I cared about was whether or not they did their job, which they did.

My son and I had excellent service from this Tires Plus. Robert helped us schedule an inspection for a truck we considered buying. Steve was the mechanic who did the inspection. Both were helpful and very professional. Robert got us in on a busy Saturday and Steve found a crack in the trucks frame, along with several other mechanical problems. Ive been a Tires Plus customer since 2007 in the Pensacola area; weve had our three vehicles regularly serviced there and purchased tires as well. Theyre reliable and honest. This store in Tallahassee helped us avoid a costly mistake. Were grateful for their professionalism.

DO NOT GO HERE! I went for their oil change special. Once there I was told that they didnt want to do the oil change because my oil drain plug was too large and they were afraid that if they pulled it out they wouldnt be able to put it back in. That was understandable, though it was my first time hearing that. So they said they would top off my oil free of charge. After leaving the store my truck started smoking very bad and I had to end up taking it to a trusted mechanic a few hours later who had to drain my oil because they put entirely too much oil in it. AND the mechanic was able to do an oil change with no problem.

Im really surprised with all the reviews as I have had nothing but great experiences there. Their prices have always been the cheapest, Ive never been talked into getting extra things, and once they even fixed something for me for free even though it was obvious I thought It would cost a decent amount of money and they could have swindled me. The staff has always been extremely friendly and have made the experience as enjoyable as it can be. I always recommend them so my girl friends as it is one of the few places I have been where I didnt feel like I was being talked to like an idiot or taken advantage of.
