Just about fed up with Charter. This orange yard art has been in our yard for 90 days. We dont even have Charter. The cable has been repaired and buried, but not disconnected from the junction box which is in our yard. NUMEROUS phone calls have been made and NUMEROUS promises have been made. Now we could disconnect it ourselves and be arrested. Other than that we are at their mercy. The best advertisement is word of mouth. So here is a picture and my word of mouth. Never was crazy about TN orange anyway. Bulldawg red might have been more palatable.

I am hopefully disagreeing with the comment before me. That explanation may have summed up my every visit to the previous location on Hawthorne, but I was pleasantly surprised that my first visit to the Epps Bridge location was issue free. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional and prompt. I was fifth in line when I walked in and was out in under 10 minutes. Hopeful this trip is the rule and not the exception.

I just got charged $40 for an outdated modem that nobody told me that I needed to return. I sent it to e-recycling after I purchased my own newer modem. When I set up my new modem, the Charter rep on the phone did not mention needing to return the modem. The rep today was unwilling to budge on the charge. Ive had a better experience with Charter this time than I did previously, but I still would NOT recommend them.

Charter is typical of most cable companies with a monopoly on a local market: overpriced and poor quality. The internet is of mediocre speed usually, but the best feature of being a charter customer is when the service goes out at night and you cant call them to complain. Its even better when its for near 24 hours. Really wonderful. Just started a project, but I guess itll have to wait.

New space age store, same crappy service. Employees act more like delinquent teens at a high school aftercare program than helpful customer service reps. Companys policies are designed to make life hard for the customer. Charter has a monopoly on high speed internet in Athens, and they act like it. I hate this place, and you will too - I guarantee it.

Very impressed. It took five minutes to sign up as a new customer over the phone. They had somebody out in a few hours of calling, they give you an eta and he was right on time, very polite. The hookup took ten minutes and I have super fast internet. Thanks charter.

Service is OK, but the remote is confusing.Serviceman was not helpful in explaining. Most troubling is that our rates have been raised twice since we signed on to the "special" rate. No where do they say what the increase will be.The increase is now almost 50%!
