First experience - while my Jeep was parked outside of their shop waiting for a faulty sensor to be repaired, the catalytic converter was stolen off of my car (and several others in the lot). I was told by the mechanic that they attempted to steal mine and damaged the muffler in the process, but since it was "closer to the engine" they werent able to get to it, and they (christian brothers) fixed the damaged muffler. After receiving my car, I noticed it sounded differently - it was deeper, as if there was a cut-out in the muffler. While I was having my tires balanced and rotated the next day, I asked to look underneath my Jeep - there was no catalytic converter on my muffler, just a piece of newly-welded metal pipe. After consulting google and determining that there was indeed supposed to be a catalytic converter there, I called Christian Brothers. Their story changed - suddenly, it wasnt that they attempted to steal the catalytic converter, but that they did steal a component but it was just an oxygen sensor. I then took my Jeep to a Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealer and let their mechanic look at it. He confirmed that the catalytic converter WAS missing, and even provided schematics to show where it was supposed to be. Schematic in hand, Christian Brothers was confronted - they STILL maintained that nothing was taken off the car, and act surprised when they were shown the schematic detailing where the catalytic converter was on my car. Flash forward 6 months later to last week - my Jeep was having major engine trouble and was towed to Christian Brothers (against our better judgement). In order to crank up the vehicle and determine (incorrectly) that whatever was wrong was in the bottom of the motor, we were charged $100. Absolutely ridiculous for a "diagnostic" (I use that term loosely). These are dishonest, shady mechanics who may or may not actually know how to work on vehicles. If you were told that thieves damaged your muffler attempting to steal a catalytic converter at this shop about 6 months ago (June or July I believe), you would do well to have a 2nd opinion.

I have driven by this place a gazillion times. I went online to read the reviews and noticed that it was a faith based business. I originally thought Christian Was their last name. Silly me. I was almost turned off because the wait time for an appointment was about a week. But then I thought about it and said ... That must mean they have a lot of customers who trust their work. So I made an appointment. When I called I spoke to someone very nice. I cannot recall the name off the top of my head. Anyway... Fast forward to my appointment. I got there and Charles was at the front desk. Wait let me back up... The waiting room is very nice. There isnt a television but its so tranquil and peaceful in there that it isnt an issue. Ok back to Charles. He kept me informed he entire time. Once they found out the issue with my car... He communicated what needed to be fixed and what could wait. He explained everything in a manner that I would understand. I definitely appreciated that. Car was fixed. Drove home and the issue that I originally went for... No longer existed. Music to my ears. I was impressed with the service and the customer engagement. I will return for all car service from now on. I am a fan. Brian is awesome. I dropped my car off Friday on my way out of the country. I paid when I was heading back into the country Wednesday. Brian offered to bring my car back to my home. I truly appreciate that after a day of traveling. This company will FOREVER get my business. HANDS DOWN!

I worked on cars professionally, but I was extremely unimpressed with the customer service at this place. I asked for an A/C service on my Mercedes, but the guy behind the desk said Id have to wait until their European car guy returns from vacation. After I explained that all I wanted was the refrigerant pulled and anyone with auto A/C knowledge can perform the task with the right equipment, he still refused to have anyone else do the work. So I asked how much a timing belt service would be. Ive got too much going on with my job, family, and graduate school to do big jobs on my cars. He couldnt give me a price even just for the labor. He just took my information and said hed give it to me later. I never got anything. Having worked with many service desk people, I never felt so unimportant or undervalued as a customer. I wonder if this guy has even heard of "customer service" before. Its guys like this that frustrate honest, hard working professionals like myself. I may not turn wrenches anymore, but I certainly wouldnt want this guy to be my service desk person. I took my car to another shop in Stockbridge that I heard good things about but was along the line of all the other sketchy looking shops on 138. I gave them a shot and was thoroughly impressed with their level of customer service and honesty. Having worked on cars, I cant be BSd.

Always had faith for Christian Brothers but it was very disappointed experience for me. I walked in and asked quote about replace the front CV joint at driver side and change brakes for my 2009 Ford Edge. The gentleman behind the desk told me it will cost over 200 only for the brakes and he will call me back in an hour about CV joint. Of course. Nobody called us bcak. At that time, I still believe Christian Brothers and I back to shop the next day ask about quotation again. The same gentleman finally give me the paper after I waited there another 10 minutes while he was finish my quote on his computer. The final quote only about the one CV joint but no brakes. I asked again about brakes and he told me still over 200 dollars. During my 2nd visit, nobody said anything about why I didnt get any phone call yesterday even I told them why I was there again. I know I am a female and you can tall I know nothing about the Car if you talk to me. But over 200 dollars for the brakes do let me feel like this shop try to take advantage of me since I am a new female customer. Especially I asked all the people around me and they all told me this price is way too high. I believe not everyone had or will have bad experience like I did. I just hope the shop can trade all the customer like same no matter she is new customer or not.

Recommended by a place nearby and were hopeful. The experience with them in order to get the car fixed was fine. They were friendly and helpful. They replaced the alternator and put a new battery in. They sent me down the road without testing it to make sure it was working. I know they didnt test it because I was standing there watching them put the battery in. We left and about 100 miles down the road the battery light came on. I eventually made it home in Florida. We emailed them two times to which they didnt respond. We emailed them a third time and they said to take it to the local place and have them look over it. They wouldnt warranty their work and provided no solutions other than paying for the labor again to finish the job we had paid for them to do. The owner or the gentleman with a large southern accent asked what can I do to help you. Our reply was stand by your work and fix my car as we had already paid them to do. He wouldnt do it. There is nothing anyone could do to make me go back to this location or any of its affiliates. Thanks for sending me on the road in an unsafe vehicle. One simple test would have shown you the alternator wasnt functioning properly. Thankfully we found another place who gladly helped us AND they were kind as we explained the problem.
