on 06/11/17 took car into Pleasant Hill Firestone because THE BRAKES were bad. Had both rear brake pads, rear calipers, rear brake rotor installed. They said they inspected both front and rear brakes and the front was fine. 3 weeks later the front brake pads, front calipers, front rotors stop working. Im pissed and I take the car back to Firestone and they are like well these things happen or stuff gets missed. You have the car torn apart checking THE BRAKES. And you miss the fact the front brakes are shot as well. This is a serious matter to miss the fact that BOTH FRONT & REAR brakes were shot. The day before my son-in-law had taken the car to another auto shop and was told both front and back calipers, rotors and brakes were bad. We told him we wanted to take the car to a place we trusted since we had been using this Firestone for 14 years we thought they would take care of us. So we paid $700 for 1/2 a brake job. We took the car back on 07/07/17 to find out WHY the brakes stopped working again. Since Firestone supposedly fixed the brakes they said were bad and said FRONT BRAKES the were fine we were thinking why is this happening? How in the hell do you miss the fact that the front brakes were just as crappy as the back brakes ?????? But for another $700 and some change we can have the other 1/2 fixed that they said was fine in the first place. REALLY! Ill take my $ some where else that is Bovine scat.

Terrible people. I went in to get a coolant flush and oil change. They discovered that my radiator was actually cracked and replaced it. they were also supposed to replace the radiator hoses but decided not to but still attempted to charge me for them. After the repair I went and started my car and it was idling extremely rough and when I confronted them about it they were EXTREMELY rude. They told me to let it get warmed up all the way and drive it and if it doesnt go away bring it back the next day. I went ahead and checked that they got all the air out of the system (which they insisted that they did) and they had not. It only has its idling issue when its not up to temp which makes me concerned that the ratio of water of the fluid they put in is greater than 50%. These guys are a joke never ever do anything here if you would like it repaired correctly

I had brakes done here this summer. They made an awful scraping sound from Day One, and despite repeatedly taking my vehicle back to have the sound diagnosed, the mechanics were unable to find anything wrong. Upon seeking a second opinion, it turns out that incorrect brake pads were used, and are actually destroying my rotors. Firestone still maintains there is "nothing wrong" despite awful sounds coming from my vehicle every time I brake. In addition, my husband brought his car in recently for a simple oil change and was told he needed more than $1,800 worth of repairs. Faced with possibly needing to buy a new car instead, we got a second opinion. The repairs are going to cost us less than $300 at another shop.

went for an oil change recently and was told that I needed new wiper blades. funny thing is, I bought new blades just a week before. they also said my tires were wearing improperly. they could not tell that I just had them rotated recently by the dealer. no problem with tires either. they also said they saw "evidence" of an oil leak and wanted me to get a leak detection test. nope. no oil leak in my driveway or work parking space. the clincher was a week later, my change oil light came on. had to take it back in and have them fix that. cmon man, just change my oil correctly and leave me alone with all the up-sells.

I brought in my car to have it aligned and this guy named Justin said I needed new struts that were slotted. So $350 later I now have slotted struts. Bring it in again for an alignment and he looks under the hood to claim the new struts arent slotted. FUN FACT: Its impossible to tell if their slotted just by looking under the hood. Im happy the retard didnt align my car. God knows what his stupidity couldve done to it. Another friend had problems with the other mechanics there not knowing how to do the job. Absolutely ridiculous shop.

Get a second opinion before having them do any major (or minor repair for that matter) on your vehicle.... Mine hasnt ran right since they changed my right front ball joint.... Ended up taking it back in for loud noises coming from right front wheel where they had replaced.... Turned out they had forgotten a screw and nut....... Then come to find out, if you replace one ball joint you should replace them both.... That was not mentioned!! Havent been back since!!!

I needed to replace a tire on my SUV. They quoted me $1,000 and told me I had to replace all 4 due to the tread depth and all wheel drive. I took my SUV to Big O Tires in Altoona and they only had me replace two and charged me less than $500. Big O took me out to my car and measured the depth in front of me to show that Firestone was full of it. Gotta love when auto shops take advantage of females!

Took my car in for an oil change and they told me that my breaks were super bad and needed to be changed ASAP and that my tires were completely bald and would need changed before winter. They told me this about three months ago. I finally bought breaks today and when we went in to go change them we realized my breaks were in perfect condition and my tires are just fine.

Ive had great experience at this Firestone. My car was finished when he said it would be. People are polite and wont try to sell you things you dont need. I would definitely come back here to service my car.
