Had appointment for brake replacements on a Saturday morning. Got my car there early, before 10:30. Was told they would call in a little bit with info and estimate. 3 hours later, I called them since theyd never called me like they said they would. Was informed the problem was more extensive than anticipated, needed calipers replaced, and theyd call back with more info and estimate. This time they did call me as promised, I told them to proceed. They said theyd call again when it was ready. 3 hours later, no call from them and I knew they were closing soon so I called them. They said come on up, its ready. Before I left the house they called back to say they didnt have the correct parts and it would not be ready before closing! What??? Apparently theyd not even started on it or they should have known that they didnt have the right parts. 10:30 AM till after 4:30 pm and they just discovered they didnt have the parts. Manager said he would call me on Tuesday to confirm completion and arrange for pickup. Tuesday afternoon and no call yet received so I called them. They said it was ready, I got there, paid (over 600 dollars !!!) and started to leave and discovered the parking brake no longer worked!!!! I pulled it back up to the doors and let them know I wouldnt take it until it was completely fixed and did not have time to sit there and wait. Finally got my car a day later. Will NEVER take another vehicle to CARX in Alexandria KY!

I walked to my car this morning to see that my front driver-side tire was flat. After filling with air and sealant, I took my vehicle to Car-X and asked if they could take a look. They pulled the nail, fixed the leak/sealed it properly, and gave me an oil change when I asked to have it done. Everything was finished in about 45 minutes and was completely hassle-free. Tim Adams rang me up and talked me through the process of fixing the tire - very nice guy. Jack Greer was the mechanic who fixed up my tire and performed the oil change. I drove away very happy with the service both of them provided. 100% will come back to this location if something, unfortunately, happens to my car or I need maintenance done.

Always go to car-x for oil changes an they always do a free inspection had a little leak on my car no biggy want them to put it on a lift to tell me whats wrong an go from there but wanted to charge me $30 just to lift it in the air when a different car-x did it for nothing will never be using this location again

I have taken my cars there for over 20 years, and have never been disappointed by the service, and especially their customer service. Major repairs, minor repairs, oil changes, have all been accomplished with my satisfaction. They always kept me in the loop, so there were no surprises. Tim Adams is the best!
