Mike seems like a nice guy and his price was low, but I got what I paid for (or didnt get what I didnt pay for). I dropped off four wheel hubs to have him replace the bearings in them. Also gave him all the bearings and seals he would need. I asked how long it would take so I could plan accordingly (only have one car), he assured me theyd be done the same day. Ended up taking a full week. VERY frustrating. He didnt give any reason for the delay other than "were very busy". Poor workmanship as well. Some of the seals were in backwards, others were smashed, one of the hubs still had an old seal in it, and one of the ABS rings was cracked. All the bearings were dirty too, so they likely wont last long. Unfortunately I needed the car for a road trip so I didnt have time to take it back to have things fixed. Very frustrating experience, especially since he was recommended by a friend. Needless to say I wont be back.

I really cannot express how thankful I am for Mike and his crew. They are so hard working, but also very quick and kind. I have been using Mike for several years and I recommend to every single person I meet. Kool Breeze is , hands down, the best auto shop in Lexington if not the entire state - people have traveled hours to use Mike, which you will learn from sitting in the lobby for just a few minutes. Mike is a good person who will tell you as much or as little as youd like to know about what is wrong with your vehicle and how to fix it. He never sells you anything you dont absolutely need, though he will recommend things if it will help extend the life of your vehicle and its components. That being said, he also has the most fair pricing in town for the quality of work done and materials used. I cannot say enough positive things about this shop, its crew and its owner! Oh, the shop cats are pretty great, too :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE Mike and his mechanics! Mike is a super honest man (truly a Kool Breeze for this >55 woman who who has met a LOT of dishonest mechanics)! Mike runs his very busy shop like a small-town biz that depends on word of mouth and repeat customers (I am one). I even dragged my >65 yr old sister from VT here when her car got sick during a visit. She wishes she had a Kool Breeze clone in her area... Mike and his mechanics are thorough and clearly like their work. They will NOT try to sell u what u dont need!!! Wow. Do be prepared to tell Mike detailed symptoms about your cars problem, so he can more easily/cheaply diagnose. I just left the shop. Got there at 8 am, concerned I needed new brakes. They had me out by 9 am with NO charge bc my brakes are "like new", just a little noisy in the mornings.... Heres one super happy customer. TEN stars.

Consider me another very satisfied customer. Mike Watson quickly diagnosed the A/C problem with my truck and repaired the problem at a very reasonable price. Most of us vehicle owners dont know much about our vehicles and are therefore subject to being ripped off by unscrupulous mechanics. If a mechanic had told me that my A/C compressor was shot and needed to be replaced (expensive) - instead of a minor part needed to be replaced - how would I have known the difference...? I appreciate being able to rely on an honest professional such as Mike. I highly recommend Kool Breeze to anyone who is having an A/C problem with their vehicle.

There are not enough words to described how very pleased I am with Kool Breeze! My husband and I were traveling to Lexington when our air conditioner went out....in mid June with near 100% humidity! Talk about a terrible road trip! I called Mike who quickly diagnosed the problem and worked me into his schedule so we wouldnt have to drive the five hours home in sweltering heat and humidity! I just picked up my car and the air works like an arctic blast, the repair costs were more than fair and the people friendly. I only wish I lived in Lexington so I could refer all my friends to Kool Breeze!

Unbelievable, all the guys here are so great! I cant say enough about them. A bolt came off of my car and my linkage was on the ground of course I didnt know how bad it was going to be, and i dont live in Lexington. I call here because they opened at 7am and they had a good rating on Google. Mike said they could fit me in that morning once i got my car there t was a fast easy fix, and they didnt charge me! If I ever need a mechanic in Lexington again I know where to go! Thanks Kool breeze auto repair!

Mike is the man. Always helpful and willing to explain what is going on. I had to replace my AC last year and he quoted me $700 for a total replacement. I ended up doing a lot of the work myself and just brought the car back in for a recharge and a few little things. He was very reasonable and also helped explain to me what I needed to do on my own, very cool! I recently had them back-flush my heater core and they had it done the same day. Great service.

Kool Breeze has the best car mechanics ever. Mike has an excellent crew of guys that knows cars. I am so happy they helped me with my vehicle. Over the years I have had nothing but bad luck with car dealers and other car mechanics here in Lexington whom took advantage of me. This auto repair shop is great. My 13 year old car was repaired at a very fair price. Mike would always call me and let me know what problems were found and what price it was going to be. I really appreciate the work that he and his crew did to get my running again. The problem was a module that had to be replaced, if not my interior lights would go off and on and run my new battery down on a weekly basis. Good Guys...

This is the best place in Lexington to take your car for repairs. Mike is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. He will not BS you, he will not try to fix something that doesnt need fixed, and will not try to empty your wallet like most repair shops. Also, every time I go there he is swamped with costumers because they know their not gong to find better service or a cheaper price anywhere else in this area!!!!

These guys are great. I lived next to them for a year and took my car over to get it fixed whenever I had a problem. I dont live there anymore but anytime I have a problem they are the first people I call. They are always willing to help and dont try to sell you extras. They are the most straight forward mechanics I have ever dealt with and I will never deal with anyone else in Lexington.

From the 1st time I ever brought a car in Mike and his Team gave me the BEST SERVICE EVER!!!! I have now had at least 4 cars and trucks in his shop. Always the BEST Price in town. But the more important thing is his HONESTY and INTEGRITY!!! I recommend KOOL BREEZE TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. AND ALWAYS WILL! Thanks Mike. You have saved us more times than I can count.
