So im a backyard mechanic and i do all work i can myself so i do kno a thing or two. My 04 chevy blazer needed 4 new tires, even so, it rode smooth. Either way, i take it here and spend almost $700 on new tires. I drive it out the door get on the hwy & the minute i hit 50 the damn thing starts shaking so hard the stereo was skipping. So i turned around and brought it back. They shrugged there shoulders & decided to check the balance. The kid takes it for a ride comes back and says its not doing it anymore...yes it was. I stopped to look at the tires & found they never returned the lugnut caps to both wheels on the passenger side so i had to go back to get those. So i waisted another $65 on getting the wheels balanced somewhere else. Come to find out the balance was fine and Goodyears shop in dartmouth finds that the 2 front tires arent str8 one hops and the other wobbles. I bring it back to firestone, they check it out the tech takes it for a ride and finds it to be really weird. Of coarse theyd rather not beleive its there tires so they claim it could be my wheels but they decided to humor the situation and replace both front tires...i kno it was never my rims..they were fine when i dropped it off in the first place. So the tech says they need to order the tires and they will call me when they arrive either tomoro or the next day. A week goes by, no call. So i call them & ask, "oh yah those are here" so he tells me he will set me up so i can bring it by in the morning. I get over there around 9 to drop it thinking it wont take long, i ask, and im told probly mid afternoon but they will call when its finished. Mid afternoon? Why am i bringing it in the morning? ...again, no call. I waited all day then just went therr before closing and it was already done. I took it for a spin with the replacement tires installed and sure enough the tires were the issue.. another quick add-on, when i brought it back the 2nd time, they said they would look at it. I replied, if you guys need it for a long time i can schedule another time to bring it back. The tech doesnt reply. I sat there in there waiting room for 2-1/2 hours staring at my truck out the window before they even got around to it. They were all nice people, nobody was rude but in terms of service, theyre just taking your money and having you sign on the line. My issues were resolved in the end but after much headache, multiple visits, waiting around & extra $$ I gave them 2 stars becuz in the end the issue was resolved, i wouldnt ever return or recommend but im not mad about it either.

Horrible place to service your brakes...Took my sisters CAR to simply put front pads on, costs 159...No big deal, we paid... The brakes were working better before it was changed...Apparently the calipers began lock, and freeze... When the car was brought back, they look at it and tried to say that this is normal...Come on now!...Arent you the professionals who are supposed to inspect SAFETY as well as needed work and advise?..Apparently, you dont do your work and the work they do is unacceptable...They tried to say it needs new calipers, new pads because the ones just replaced had worn, etc...and Tried to charge her 300-400 dollars for work on the car they damaged....Wow...Then, we simply request that we take our car out and get the work done....THEIR RESPONSE WAS " WE WOULD BE LIABLE AND CANT PUT DEFECTED EQUIPMENT ON THE ROAD"....WAIT, IF IT WASNT YOUR FAULT, HOW ARE YOU LIABLE?...WHAT IS IT?...ITS NOT OUR FAULT BUT WE ARE LIABLE IF SOMETHING HAPPENS...RIDICULOUS.... AVOID THIS PLACE...THEY ADVERTISE CHEAP BECAUSE THEY ARE GOING TO DO HACK JOBS AND THEN TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A 20 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO WOULDNT KNOW BETTER.... GO TO SEARS, MIDAS, DEALERS .....AVOID FIRESTONE, SPECIALLY THIS ONE.. GAVE IT A ONE STAR, THATS THE LOWEST...THEY ARE A ZERO

POOR MANAGEMENT (Manager--Joe Morra) When I went there about a month ago to get tires first I waited and waited and it took hours only to come back and find out my car hadnt even been moved yet! Same place I left it; they dont know what they are doing and when i asked to speak to a manager they said he was too busy .... Come to find out when I googled it when I left and same guy who said they were too busy was the actually store manager! ...he lied to me so he didnt have to deal with my issue and pushed it off like it was nothing .... I was going to give them another shot but I just came online to schedule another appointment and after seeing all the other negative reviews I decided ill be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I went here for 2 years straight even with a appointment i was there for 5 hours i was getting a oil change. there is always something new they say i have to fix first the breaks, then its the axle then the inner tie rods both sides Rader hose alternator and more and more and more it feels like im being robbed there. There is always something new i have to fix when im there just to get just a get a oil change its a rep off to much money half of the time i think they make up bullshit up so they can make more money today i was there looking to spend $40 on a oil change but no its oil both inner tie rods and more all most $700 i most of spent at least $2000 since i been going here and its the last time i go there.

This place is horrible!!! We got four new tires for my wifes car and we had nothing but trouble. Had to go back several different times for tires losing pressure, also pressure sensor light was always on in the car. A few months later we hit a pothole had to replace the tire they charge us an extra fee even though we had the roadside assistance. I will never buy tires there again and do not recommend anybody to do any car service there. The time we spent in the waiting room there was other people with several different problems coming in everyone seemed to have an issue with service and quality of this location.

Went in for tires couldnt find them else where which I found ridiculous seeing as they are very common but anyways a guy named Ben that was there was very friendly and helpful had me there no more then 20 min. A week later had to replace my alternator called up Ben gave me a decent price and had my car ready within a few hours ( its not the cheapest place in town but they have reasonable prices and guarantee all their work plus the wait time is not bad ) Im not sure about the other employees but the one I dealt with was helpful and didnt seem like he was trying to sell me something I didnt need

I used to be a back yard mechanic but i work to often to get serious work done my vehicle. So my power steering goes, and i take here for a diagnosis and they say my power steering pump is completely shot, as is the pulley, they quote me 400 to fix it. I made an appointment the next day to get it fixed then realized how strange of a diagnosis it is, so i reluctantly use my neighbors lift to check it out. THE BELT WAS LOSE, I TIGHTENED IT, FIXED. They tried scamming me out of $400! I will never take my vehicle anywhere near a Firestone, and you shouldnt either!
