Excellent storage facility with great customer service and competitive prices, plus advantages for paying early. The only negative was when a burst pipe disaster struck and damaged our property in our basement unit. This is a well secured and maintained facility so you hate to say it but even then sometimes things just happen. The test though is how well the company responds and their communication and flexibility was very good. They found us a new and better and bigger unit and let us use it at the same price for 2 years. They also helped us collect information for insurance even though now that Im thinking about it we never filed - thats on us. We did have some damage and we did have to relocate all our stuff ourselves but obviously a disaster like that is an extremely rare event and they handled it well. Also its located near the best Greek food in the state (feisty Greek) so we used goijg to storage as an excuse all the time to grab a gyro. So thats a plus. Despite the leak Id likely come right back here if we ever need similar storage again.

I used Extra Space Storage in Norwood for just over a year during our move to Chicago, and was very happy with them. I originally needed to store excess stuff to prepare my Norwood house for sale, and then to store the entire contents of my house for a year thereafter until we had found a new place in Chicago. During the entire experience, the management staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating. The facility itself is clean and easy to use, with easy access from the parking lot and lots of carts readily available to help with toting. When we finally moved out of the facility a year later, we found we had a number of items we no longer needed. As I was only in town for a day or two to oversee the loading of the moving truck, I was a bit stressed about how to dispose of these extra things. Tim was very helpful and arranged for their removal for me. I would recommend this facility to anyone with storage needs.

I have used this facility twice in the past several years and have been very happy with it. The staff have been professional and helpful, the facility is kept clean, it is climate controlled and it is even carpeted. Storing stuff here was like storing it in a spare bedroom. The availability of carts and an elevator made access to the interior units convenient. At one point I needed a second unit for a short time and the management was able to get me into a unit quite close to my first one, which made consolidation easy when I was ready to do that. I drove over a half hour past several other facilities to keep my stuff here because the conditions were so good.

The Norwood property is professionally managed, clean, and with good lighting. I have used this facility for one year. Overall a good experience. The move out procedure was not as clear as I thought it should be. I thought I was entitled to a prorated rental since I moved out 1 week before the end of my lease, but the facility manager informed me that was not the case. It fact the final receipt stated "refund denied". During my one year the lease rate went up twice. I thought that was more frequent than other locations I have used in the past.

Superior storage facility, as you might expect from a older factory converted into storage units. This is not your typical modern sheet metal storage building. I looked at all the storage units around this area and this was far and away the best building. Staff on hand were also extremely professional and easy to deal with. Highest recommendation. This is the only time I have ever left a review along these lines.....Could not be more pleased.

The store manager, Tim Kelly, is always easy to work with and very responsive to any questions that arise. Tims exceptional customer service skills combined with his friendliness, truly added to my overall great experience with Extra Space Storage.

The overall internet experience was not great, however when we went to move into the facility, Tim helped to make things easier for us and made up for the bad experience I had with the promotional rate they were not able to honor. Make sure you confirm prior to moving in that they can honor a promotional rate or free month!!

This is the first time Ive leased a storage space, and its been a very smooth experiance. Tim and Neil were friendly and the whole process took about 10 minutes. The building is very clean and so was the 5 x 10 unit Im leasing. An excellent security system and a great deal were the final two reasons I chose to lease from Extra Space Storage in Norwood. I have been storing at this facility for 8 years now. I looked at a few facilities before I chose this one. Its nice, clean and accessible. It isnt climate controlled, per se, but it has stayed cool enough in summers such that its not an issue. The people have been very nice, whenever I had dealings with them also. I have been very happy with my choice.
