Our car came out in worse shape than it started. We went there to get a headlight repair and oil change, and at the end the mechanic came out with our air filter in his hand, saying it needed to be replaced. We agreed, but later he came out and said he didnt have the part, so we told him wed take care of it later. Immediately after leaving we began experiencing the sudden deceleration characteristic of air filter problems, which we had not experienced before taking it in. Then, our check engine light came on. Then, we began having trouble starting the car. We paid sixty-some dollars to get these problems. To our mechanics credit, he called us afterwards and said hed be happy to help us get the air filter fixed, or do whatever other checks on the engine were needed to correct any new problem. He was apologetic, and we appreciated that! So lets say three stars.

What can i say about this wonderful place. Im from Ohio and had to travel too Michigan to recover my vehicle..well long story short the tires on my recovered car were shot totally unsafe..i went to a Goodyear tire shop the nearest i could find..they inform me they were closing in a.HOUR and wouldnt help me....wth.. so i called campus auto they were about close too..but they said they would help me..problem was they did not have my tires in stock..they didnt stop there..they called Around found my tires at anthor vendor went and got then stayed over put then on and i was back on the road to ohio a little after6. That customer service at its finest Goodyear should take notes...Detroit has angels and they work at campus auto ,

I am a long time customer, referred to Campus Auto by even longer time customers. My name just happens to also be Shari. I have been very happy with everything they have done, from brakes, to lightbulb replacements when the dealer told me I needed a whole light replaced, oil changes, tune-ups. They do what is necessary and not more, and I do not mind them charging a reasonable living wage. Their location is ideal for New Center workers, or anywhere in midtowm or downtown Detroit, and they will shuttle you where you need to go for free. They do not do much for the upkeep of their site, but that is the reality in their neighborhood. The upside is that they are able to be so reasonable in their pricing.

Yaya at Campus Auto is the man and this auto shop is very affordable. I noticed this shop taking my children to school every morning. I said to my wife " this has to be a good auto shop because everyday I see the DMC HOSPITAL FLEET, DETROIT POLICE, and WAYNE STATE POLICE cars getting serviced". To get a big account like that, this must be a great place and the prices are very affordable and YAYA is always willing to give discounts on the service. I recommended this shop to family and friends! Thanks guys at Campus Auto!!!!!

Affordable and Quality Work. These guys are great! They are always straight forward, friendly and will try to make your repair as affordable as possible. Plus, they will give you a lift to your work or school. I used this repair shop when I was a student at WSU, but even though I now work and live about 30 minutes away, I still go back to them. They are the like the Puddy of Detroit (without the squinting and better conversationalists).

They saved me! The service was great and reasonably priced. I had to leave my car in the parking lot for two days over the weekend (it was unlocked so they could get in) and nobody touched it. The service was very quick, I only had to wait 2 hours for a new starter motor. Campus Auto will take care of you.
