I recently traveled from Georgia to Michigan to purchase a vehicle from, what was supposed to be, the BEST dealership in all of Michigan. Before my arrival I contacted the manager, Mr. Brian Wilson and informed that I would be in the area at 4pm(ish) and he made it very clear that he would ensure the vehicles ability to survive the 790 mile trip back home to Georgia as well as the vehicles safety; and best of all: he made sure I knew that he would accommodate me and squeeze me in. Mr. Wilson was extremely helpful, kind and had such a positive attitude.(even with my OCD and thoroughness) so we arrive at the dealership a little later than expected and Mr. Wilson assured me that he would have time to check the vehicle like I had said he would. At the dealership I had copious amounts of questions that rarely received a direct answer. Anyway, not only the sales associate but also the manager had promised (numerous times) that the vehicle was guaranteed safe and that their certified Ford Techs had performed the "30 point inspection" along with other necessary tests, diagnostics, repairs and servicing that they (supposedly) do once they purchase a vehicle. So I decided to for sure take matters into my own hands and take the vehicle to a mechanic nearby to have it checked out myself. (There were quite a few red flags that made me weary) Since I had been in contact with Mr. Muffler and Mr. Brian Wilson, I (without hesitation) took the car to him to have him look and diagnose the car. Unfortunately, I had gotten very far off my timeline and arrived about 26 minutes before closing time HOWEVER Mr. Wilson along with his employees stayed after in order to make sure that they at least tested the vehicles safety and quickly lifted it to make sure everything was good enough to travel the journey ahead. Thank god they did what they did IN 15 MINUTES the guys at Mr. Muffler found 4 major issues that were deemed too dangerous for the 790 mile trip back to Georgia. I asked Mr. Wilson to please relay the results to my husband for me, which he GLADLY did. Heres the best part of my entire experience: (yes, it did get EVEN better) once all was said and done I asked "Ok boss, what do I owe you?" ( aside from regular fees) Mr. Wilsons response was, "You owe me a deep breath. Just take a breath and calm down. These things can be fixed but is it worth what those repairs will cost? either way, just breath and calm down" Even after keeping him and his employees from their families, they ALL were still so kind, understanding and I could honestly see their genuine concern for my safety. I know this review was extremely long but I felt the need to express how absolutely phenomenal the guys are over at Mr. Muffler on Van Dyke Avenue in Sterling Heights, MI. Its not too often you find a good, honest person and business. But Michigan: You all have one of the best mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. With all that said, Id it wasnt made blatantly clear, I would HIGHLY recommend Mr. Brian Wilson and his staff at Me. Muffler on Van Dyke Ave in Sterling Heights, MI. (And would recommend them over and over again)

I took my 2010 Wrangler with 55,000 miles on it to this location for a front end alignment. They were working on it when the mechanic brought me into the work area to show me he had snapped the adjustment sleeve on the tie-rod. He claimed it was rusted. Ive worked on my own vehicles for over 25 years. I just dont have the equipment to do an alignment. There is no way a vehicle which is only 4 years old and having only 55,000 miles on it that is stored in the garage would have anything so rusted it couldnt be loosened without breaking it. I came in for a $50 alignment and left spending $170! I asked the manager to work with me on the labor costs of fixing what they just broke and all he did was shrug his shoulders and say theres nothing I can do. Thats not the way to do business and Id recommend nobody takes their vehicle there for work...

Back in October I took my Buick lesabre in for a stalling issue. I ended up having to bring the car back 3 times and it was there for a total of 14 days and they still could not figure out the issue. They replaced various parts such as my fuel pump, fuel filter, mass air flow sensor, map sensor, etc. Recently, my check engine light came on and the code read the mass air flow sensor. I ONLY went back to mr muffler because the part was under warranty. I called kerners, the place I now take my car, and they told me mr muffler should want to make it right after everything that happened back in October. However, Brian the manager(I think) could have cared less and didnt remember me. They gave me a new sensor and Brian told me, "hope that works out for you." I would never go there.

I had been dealing with a horrible squeaking noise from my brakes for almost a year, which is almost as long as Ive had the car. I had taken it to another mechanic who only cleaned and lubed up the brakes and sent me on my way with the brake noise still there saying everything looked good. So I kept driving with the brakes still sounding horrible. I finally had a decent amount of money saved up to get them looked at again and looked up reviews for different places and decided that Mr. Muffler had really good reviews so I would take it there. No more horrrible brake noise! I was expecting to have to pay a lot of money to get my brakes fixed and it only ended up being $119 and that was with an oil change. Everyone was super nice to. Would definetly recommend them.

Earlier this week I had gone to Mr Muffler in Sterling Heights, MI. I spoke with Brian who is the manager and one of his employees. They are both excellent workers, and they are very caring individuals. He did a brake inspection on my car and he guided me through the whole process, He wasnt someone who was rude and didnt care about his job. He even stayed an hour after closing and that itself meant a lot to me. I am returning to Mr. Muffler to get some work done on my car, I know they will get the job done right! So if anybody needs to get their car fixed, trust me and pick them!Thank you guys! **Excellent customer service skills, keep up the good work**

I recently had a front engine mount repaired in February. In june it broke so when i returned to have it repaired under warranty i was told its was two other mounts including the front and he would not repair the front unless i paid $550 to repair the other mounts. I felt that price was to high for that repair so i took it to another shop and was told that ONLY the front mount needed repair and the mounts were fine. I was so upset with mr muffler that i did not return to confirm that they lied and tried to cheat me. Would not recommend this place. I would suggest a second repair opinion prior to mr muffler fixing your car.
