I ended up taking my Durango to this guy, had him install a used transmission and doing a brake line for me, and a few other msc items such as I wanted the exhaust put back on (it was sitting in the trunk, along with the inner front fenders (plastic inside fenders) put back on. I showed him the vehicle while it was still on the trailer before I even unloaded it -- I wanted to agree on a price and personally show him each thing first. He sped through the entire process and kept telling me to just unload it. We ended up agreeing on an "out the door" price so we unloaded it and thought we where all set. He ended up telling me it will be all set on Monday (come get it then), so I planned around coming to get it Monday, and no call. I waited until Wenesday before I finally called them and asked how it was going. He told me it was going to be done tomorrow and he would give me a call. I waited all the day the next day and finally got a call saying that I would need to pay an extra $100 for parts that he already bought for me and it would be done the next day. I asked him to look at my window please because it only worked when I hit the panel (maybe the wiring is loose or something) he said he would look at it. I was kind of iffey about the extra money but "hes the expert" so I said OK fine. I got a call the following day telling me to come pick it up and when I showed up I saw that the inner fenders where still sitting in the back and not on the vehicle and the window he just decided to prop it up with cardboard that now makes the window fall when you bump it. I walked inside and asked him if he could please put the inner fenders back on like agreed about and he told me he was TOO BUSY and I should just leave them off because my vehicle is going to need more work. WHAT??! He tried to charge me a 4% fee for using a credit card (no mention of this before hand or anywhere noted inside that I could see). I told him no way, im already paying an extra $100 and you didnt do everything you said you would. He just said OK thats fine and charged me as normal. I got back into the Durango and drove it away, noticed that the 4x4 shiftier wasnt even put back in properly and missing the trim piece. When I finally got it home (45 minutes away) I heard a snapping sound and the gears wouldnt grab but it would still reverse (what I was doing when I heard it) I shut it off and now the vehicle wont start up again. Just wasted a crap load of money to be back where I started and now I have to take it to yet another shop because there is no warranty and no way of getting it 40 miles there again without a huge tow bill VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! :(

My car wouldnt start so I took it here to service drive automotive. I have a buddy that let me know that typically chrysler fuel pumps dont just go out without warning like a GM. I was referred from another friend that likes this place. They called back and said it was the fuel pump and that the price would be $500. I had them replace the thermostat as well because my heat wasnt very strong. I assumed they did something to confirm my fuel pump was bad so I went along with it. Not even a week later, my van does the exact same thing when I try to start it. I had to have it towed there again. Then the guy calls me back and tells me he replaced the cap and rotor and its another 110 or 120 bucks. I didnt even authorize the work the second time. I figured I was returning it because the fuel pump they installed didnt work. I picked it up today and asked what was up with the fuel pump and told him that I suspected it was the cap and rotor all along and told him what my buddy said about the fuel pump. His response was telling me to take my key, that he was a mechanic and that he didnt know my buddy and didnt give a F*** who he was. Way to defend yourself. Didnt even put up a fight for the $110, so I can also assume I might be right. I grabbed the key and left and told him to look forward to the google review. There is a a difference between mechanics and parts changers, unfortunately these guys are the latter. Also not defending your position and dropping F-bombs is very unprofessional.

Ive had my car in many times with Craig at Service Drive Automotive and hes always done a great job. Craig, the owner has always been honest, fair, and if anything ever needed followup, he was quick to do so without giving any runaround.

Fast service and very reliable. Not the fanciest place but great work with fair pricing. This is the only place we trust with our vehicles!

Fair and honest is all you can ask for these days these folks do good work and do not overcharge you like a dealership would
