On 19th of February my day of service day, I brought my car in around 2:00 pm that day and did not hear anything about the status of my car. I walked over there around 7:00pm and they were still working on my car. They told me they had trouble aligning my car. I told them I was planning to drive an hour away that night and needed it. I asked them if they had test drove my car and they said yes. They told me I could take it but it will pull since it wasnt finished being aligned. I asked them was it safe to drive they told me yes. So when I started driving the steering was very hard. It drove wired. I knew I had a steering pump leak but I been using the same bottle of power steering fluid since 2014. That is how much it leaked. It was completely drained when I looked at it. I go on the on ramp and immediately noticed as soon as I hit uneven pavement my car started to vibrate but stop. So I drove an hour away because they told me it was ok to drive. The very next day I got on the on ramp and hit uneven payment and it did the same thing but it would not stop and it pulled hard to the left. I tired to slow down on the highway and avoid accidents until I got off the highway. It started knocking when I turn my vehicle. It never done that before. I had to tow the car on my own expense because they did not offer to do so to Tuffys to see what happen. They told me it was my bushings that is causing my vibrations but before they said for sure it was my steering gear. So gave me the decision on fixing it or not. On Sunday I told them to go ahead and aligned it and I willing pick it up. They ok and did not hear from them since. I called to check on my car and they was closed. They didnt even tell me it was done. The next day I took the bus to Tuffys and told the sales man I need someone to test drive to make sure it is aligned before I paid. I am furious at this point. The technician took me on a test drive and told me he was unaware of the vibration issue and it was a communication error from the previous technician who did not tell him about my situation. He told me he would had never told me to drive that far. He was very friendly and gave me reassurance that my car would be safe to drive for the time being. Sale sales man seemed very directed and unwilling to work with me to get my problem resolved. When presented options he said no to everything. I decided to never go back to Tuffys. I felt my car is in worst shape than it has been before I took it there. The customer service was the abosolute worst than I ever experienced. I went to another automotive place and they was able to fix my alignment. I no longer hear knocking when I turn and my car do not wobble on every bump. My steering never been so tight. Tuffys corporate was very respectful and was more than willing to get this problem resolved.

This is the best service I have ever seen or received. The manager Heidi loves what she does and you can tell by how she works and talks to you. By all means this is not a quick lube so if you are looking for a quick oil change, in and out with having no understanding of the condition of your car then this is not the place for you. These people are not the average they care about you and your vehicle. Quick lubes are just for convince they usually have you leaving in worse condition then when you came in and cost more than Tuffys oil change. Dealers take weeks to get in and are so over priced and talk to you like you are ignorant about vehicles and up sell. Tuffy did a detailed inspection during my oil change. They inform you of what is going on with your car and also explain to you what order of urgency things need to be fixed. She went over what the manufacturer requests for the mileage on my car now and in the future. I left with knowledge and a better understanding of the condition of my vehicle. Instead of being pressure sold on things I didnt need, she talked to me like a neighbor or friend and told me what should be done now and in the future. It was like she was thinking about her own car and not a customers. I am flabbergasted at my experience it was that great. I will be back and you can bet that I am going to tell everyone I know that this is the place to go. Even though I got same day service and was in and out within an hour I would wait days and even drop my car off for this service. Top of the line, I cant say enough good about them.

DO NOT GO HERE. I got an oil change for my truck and they forgot to screw the cap on. Oil was leaked all over my engine. I went back and THEY accused me of doing it! I didnt even touch my engine and this was 20 minutes after I had left. They offered me no compensation whatsoever and were very aggresive The second time I went I presented a coupon for an oil change lube & filter for $20. They charged me $25 and would not take the $5 off. I have had 2 bad experiences here, while Tuffy is a great brand this store does not represent the company well. Your money is best used elsewhere

Been a customer for over a dozen years and through 4 cars. Roger and his staff have always explained to me the problems using everyday language and without a hint of condescension. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick, friendly, and professional. Though our problems have not always been solved, I have never felt that I have gotten a runaround or been tricked-- Roger and the staff have always been honest and forthright without any fear-mongering. I plan to be a customer forever.

We took our vehicle to Tuffy when our usual service center was unable to resolve our issue. What we found there was a more than competent owner and mechanic who took our issue seriously, repaired it beyond our expectations in a timely manner, and for a price far below what we were prepared to pay. In a time when its hard to find honest and reliable service, the Tuffy in Lewis Center is an old school shop with a new school face. Absolutely returning to them for all of our auto needs.

I take my car here for everything and I will never even consider another business for my car. They deliver top notch service, theyre all the most friendly and genuine people at this establishment. Theyre timely and extremely easy to work with and to make appointments with. I never have to worry about my cars well-being because it is in the best hands at this place. Dont hesistate to take your car here. Consistently the best.

This is the only place I will take my car for the types of services it provides. I called them once and said, much to my husbands dismay - My car is yelling at me and I dont understand what the warnings on the dash mean. They fixed a brake light and topped off the oil and the bill came out to be less than $20. They could have told me pretty much anything. They are always timely and honest and friendly.
