Horrible, horrible experience at this post office. I was here yesterday 8/18/17 because I had to send out a package. There was no line, but because the teller (young black woman with green/blue fingernails that day) was on her iPhone, I decided to wait to be called before approaching her (out of politeness). She looked up at me, rolled her eyes, and exclaimed "come here, I aint gonna hurt you! what are you scared of?" I brushed it off as comical and even gave her a smile, but then as the transaction progressed she just got ruder and ruder, mumbling under her breath about how I was afraid of her. When she finally handed me my receipt, I said "thank you" and she rolled her eyes at me again and grunted "mm." I ignored ALL of that, but as I was walking out, I heard her talking about me behind my back to her coworker, making fun of me for being scared of her--and that was the last straw. I walked back in and politely asked for her name, to which she replied "why do you wanna know?" I told her that I wanted to file a complaint against her because she was extremely rude and unprofessional, but she refused to give me her name. I dont understand why so many people who hold government positions are so bitter about their jobs. They have job security, pensions, and decent salaries. I get better customer service from high school students making minimum wage. Its really quite sad.

They recently hired new people and previous employees are gone. I just went there (09022017) and new workers are damn rude and yelling at customers. there was a customer who cant hear clearly, and this woman yelling at him to read the small monitor screen on the right corner. I just tried to send my package internationally and another worker yelling at me to change the box. I told her the post officer who worked gere before taped the box with "express" on and accepted it. And she screeming again and says "yall bring those wrong boxes and that is why people keep coming to the window and complains". I mean, there was no freaking international boxes anywhere and even if it were there, how the hell am I suppose to unbox them and put them in new box when I dont have a tape and neither they do. Why the hell do they get so mad for? If they cant handle people to help, then they should not better work in post office where hundreds of people bring their importants to send to their beloved, businesses, family and friends. If people brings their package in wrong form, employees should help them to repacking it in right form and try not to teach them by yelling. What a day and morning to starts.

I dont know where the old staff went, but the new people they hired are absolutely terrible. The attitude and lack of efficiency there are just the worst. The teller was on her phone, and clearly in the middle of a conversation when there is a line forming behind me. She wasnt doing her job, nor was she being quiet. She was awfully loud during her phone call. And I certainly didnt need her smart mouth blabbing off at me and yelling "ya know what I mean?!" when I just asked about my missing package. The supervisor is just the same, theyre all clueless people who shouldnt even be working for the United States postal service.

I must have used this post office for sending packages on more than 20+ occasions and most of the times have been really good experiences. No crazy long lines, except during holiday season or near Valentines Day. Nothing like the branch on Main Street & Sanford. Here, the average wait time is around 3-5 minutes. And I am especially pleased with Sophia and Pauls service at this particular branch. Professional and efficient. Regarding parking, if you are lucky you can get a spot just on the side street; if not, so far I have always found a spot on Northern Boulevard.

The window ladies are cranky with customers. Once I arrived there at 4:30 with some shipments that spend few mins for each, they told me that I sould not be there and tried to send me another location because they want to finish their jobs before 5. I kept saying sorry but they were furios and blame me that I was there right befor closing time. They tried to reject all my shipment but their senior worker made them to finish. It was the most unhappy and shoking experience I ever had in newyork as living in America for 20 years..

Usually I dont leave feedback but at this point I would like to share our experince whit all people, the clerk #14 name ( mia ) does a terrible job she tried to charge me for a free tape from usps ( priority tape is free for every body ) I call for supervisor ,asian old woman show up & I explain the sitution & ( mei ) was laughing at me ,the supervisor do nothing for me ,this place are too bad ,rip off

I intentionally prepare my packages in advance so all I need to do is drop them off, yet they dont keep the package drop off open, so three times now Ive had to wait on line for up to 30 minutes with a package that literally needed NOTHING other than to be dropped off. This is a waste of time for everyone involved.

Always getting my packages delivered to the wrong house or lost. Went to speak to the postmaster or supervisor and twice was told that hes in the field. Left my name and number but no call backs as of yet. This is not acceptable at this day and age.

Never had to wait nore than a few minutes to get business done at this post office. Staff are pleasant. Contrast this with the main post office in downtown Flushing. I go out of my way to use this post office

Terrible, never coming here again. The people are extremely slow and whenever i call them on the phone, they keep you waiting for 30-35 minutes. Unbelievable, Waste of my time and money. No one come here.

Staff is helpful. Small location. Line gets long and wait time is a bit of a drag. No parking lot but street paid parking available outside.
