Id rather have major dental surgery than to go back to the New Rochelle Post Office. I opened a PO box online and when I went in to pick up my key they said the box that I booked was already taken and that I shouldnt have done it online...? They said they couldnt get me a new box because the person that handles the boxes wasnt in and to come back later on in the day. I ended up coming back FOUR more times over the course of a week to try to open this box. Every time I went the person wasnt there or the computers werent working. Im pretty sure these guys were like "hey, lets see how many times this guy comes back to open up this PO box". Once I did get it setup, the people who sent me mail had the mail returned to them because the post office said it was undeliverable. I just gave up and closed the PO box. I went today at 5pm to mail a few letters using the self service kiosk but all of the doors were locked. I checked the website before I left work and the website clearly shows that the self service kiosk is open till 6:30. I saw an employee outside and asked him if I would be able to use the self service kiosk but he said the lobby closed at 5 so I couldnt access the machine. I thought he was joking at first but he gave me the evil eye when I started laughing. Whats the point of having the kiosk close at 6:30 if the lobby that its in closes at 5? This is why the post office needs to be privatized...

Ive never dealt with so much unprofessionalism, incompetence, and exremely poor customer service in my LIFE. Roy is the absolute worst manager on the face of the earth. I ordered a package via Macys to be delivered to my home, and never received it. When I took the tracking information to this post office, being that they reported that they delivered it, I was told that the information was false, and my package was still at their post office but they could not hand it over to me being that they have 3 days to deliver it. I was told I would have it by the following business day the latest. When I didnt receive it, I called Roy and he states to me that it was delivered on the date that was recorded by their delivery person, and if I didnt get it, I have to wait until he speaks with the person when they come in to work which he could not give me a day or time for. In closing he got upset with me for being concerned about my packages wearabouts, and actually fell short of calling me a liar based on what the tracking info was stating about it being delivered, despite the contradicting information I was given when I went into his post office previously. This place should not even be in operation. Look at all of the previous reviews before mine. Everyone cant be wrong. BEWARE, STAY AWAY

Do Not Believe JERRY/Nick at the counter, the guy always with a starcbucks shake in his hand behind the black framed window.. (they be giving out fake names) He Will just throw some beat around the bush - bullshit response on why your package has is not there or has not arrived to your house. Happened to me twice. He will ask for your address and with out getting off his ass, or even looking on the computer, he will then say that your package is not there in the POST OFFICE. (The left behind note say: pick it up from the Post Office... -___-) Told everyone, its the driver and blah blah. Apparently, I asked who is the driver? Jerrys response was now its two drivers. I cant think of their names he says... Couldnt handle to stupidity anymore, just tell me you know nothing and will do nothing rather than bullshit and have long talks with people ahead of me, saying how sorry you are for their package not being at their door. (8 people were in line for the same reason) The delivery guy said No one was home nor responded... Ofcourse they couldnt hear the little tap they did on the door... P.S. Dont make people pick up if youre not going to have it there.

Can you give 0 stars. OMG been dealing with weekly as i must for my business but every phone call is just a hang up or some rude BS. My store is never closed from 11-5:30 every saturday and had a delivery out for that day 6 years ago well it never showed called monday said was wanting to find a late package well the phone just put on hold "no hold please etc" just RUDE. when tracked said package left at door 1:45 pm. as no one home.ITS A STORE, LIGHTS ALWAYS ON also had a kids birthday party at 12 to 3 same day 10 kids(but i was closed ?) but i must say the shipper for some dumb reason stated what was in box THE HOT FOOTBALL ROOKIE RAY RICE new rochelles own. 60 cards total. gee maybe we need someone to investigate, was $125.00 lost but they said it was left (also he left note on door) still looking for it. REALLY. ANYWAY i can keep going for all my bad times at lobby and on phone with only 1 person that seems to care this is the worst post office and ive talked to over 20 people say pelham or north new rochelle.call them if you want a rude hang up.

This place is legit run by idiots. Theyve lost multiple packages of mine - they were just randomly delivered to random locations and never found. I have a weekly issue with my mailman himself who just either doesnt pick up our outgoing mail (he just shoves the incoming mail on top of it) gives us the wrong mail daily, doesnt deliver our mail and then by the end of the week we have so much mail it doesnt fit in our box. I literally call them weekly to ask what is going on. One time when I spoke to some man who worked there I used the line "you people dont know how to run a business" and he responded with "YOU PEOPLE!? YOU PEOPLE!" yes "you people" all of the people working at new rochelle post is you people. it was hilarious. but i hate them they just suck, and like the rest of the reviews everyone there must hate their job/life because they are so rude its almost unbelievable. go to larchmont post office for deliveries, much smaller, much nicer, no idiots.

As all post offices theyre all terrible no exception here. However my favorite is when you have a notice to pick up at the post office such as a certified letter, you go in to the counter where it states to pick them up, whoever is working without fail, will go in the back for 2 minutes (could hear one woman talking to someone about her bunion pain while looking for my certified letter) then they come back and say it isnt there. You have to tell them that you already called spoke to someone who confirmed it was there and make them go look again. If you do that, then they will "find it" and say it was on the wrong shelf, it was in the wrong place blah blah blah. But thats the secret make them look again, be persistent because theyre lazy and hope to get you frustrated and out of their hair right away. Dont allow their laziness to ruin things for you push back be forceful and persistent no matter how rude they are
