I just filed an official complaint! The indecent happened at the post office at this address: 1444 150th St,White Stone, NY 11357 This is unfortunately not the first time when the post office employees at this location were rude and ignorant!. I was waiting for my turn to send a package. Only one post office employee , male, was behind the window. An old man was talking to him for a long time about something totally irreverent to post office services. I lost my patience and asked if there were other employee available. I was told rudely: " You have to wait!" instead of calling for a coo worker or at least to make an attempt to see if she is available. She was available, but instead of helping me, she came out to place post office stickers in order! ignoring customers waiting! The conversation was so ridiculous and long between the old man and a post office worker that I decided to videotape it. The female Asian employee finally noticed me! lol and started screaming:" Superviseor!!! Come fast! somebody is videotaping! The supervise named Jacky immediately popped out from her office telling me: "This is a Federal building! You have no right to videotape! I am calling a post office police!" I said: Ok, no problem , I will delete it" Another customer who witnessed all of this told her: Please stop! Stop escalating the situation! the lady ( me) didnt do anything wrong and your employee behind the window was rude! I am a witness! I deleted immediately pics and a video in front of her but the supervisor still didnt apologize or offered help with my package. When I said that I will never come back to this location, she said" Please do!" Its time to take action against incompetent and rude employee at the White Stone post Office location including supervisor. That to my understanding is called " negligence of duties. Thank you Lucy

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH ALL HERE. ALSO, the COLLEGE POINT Post Office is absolutely horrendous as well. I too have had on many, many occasion, mail other than mine delivered to my mailbox. In addition, when the mail does get delivered, there have been times when the mail has either been ALL placed in my downstairs neighbors mailbox (due to laziness - my mail and THEIR MAIL would be bound in a rubberband), OR visa versa or sometimes our neighbors a few doors down. This is BS! On other occasions Ive had packages stolen. I am STILL VERY SUSPECT about the carrier that "delivered" then "waited" across my street (as I hadnt gone right down to retrieve my pkg - my window is in the front). So many issues, problems, complaints. Trying to CALL THE COLLEGE POINT POST OFFICE - Well, FORGET IT!! It either CONSTANTLY RINGS (I had it ring about 18 times until it just disconnected me). I tried this again after a few minutes. Same thing. Another day/time, same thing. Then there was another time that I attempted to call again for another matter.(Yes, I MUST be a sucker for punishment!). While attempting to call, after numerius rings, someone picked up then abruptly hung up! This happened again after another attempt. What the hell do these employees get paid to do?!

The Whitestone post office is the absolute worst post office in the entire system. They have the laziest people who dont seem to want to do their job. They have lines out into the hallway with one worker at the window moving like a snail, while two others are walking into the back room either on a break or doing anything other than opening a window to take care of customers. I have on many occasions when Ive seen lines there driven my car to the Bayside post office, waited briefly on a line with 3 people working quickly and gotten out of there in under 10 minutes, driven back to Whitestone and seen most of the same people on the same lie while I was gone and done with my mailing. The take away from this? The Whitestone post office employees can not be fired and they take advantage of it by being the laziest most incompetent people in the entire postal system in Queens NY

All business people on 14th Ave have been complaining about the new mailman. We are losing mail, the mail is never delivered at the right address, and important government is getting lost. He has an extremely bad attitude problem and is nasty to all customers. Also, private homes on his route are losing mail and when its his day off his reliever has bundles of mail to deliver just because of his mistakes. Today 4/8/16 I guess the weather wasnt to his liking so he just refused to deliver our important business mail. If he doesnt like his route then maybe he should go back to his old route. For the past 30 years our business has had the most wonderful mail carriers with absolutely no complaints, until now. Ms. Diaz should look into the complaints that not only we have but many customers in Whitestone have against him.

Where to start? Lets see. Mail carrier leaves pink slips written in chicken scratch. Which gives me the job of looking up any orders I have placed and try to match up the chicken scratch to the tracking number. Mail carrier claims to have left a package in the mail box. I check tracking it says it is delivered. I look in the mailbox and it is not there. Where did this mail carrier leave my package? It certainly was not here at my home in my mailbox. Try calling the post office to inquire and spend an hour or more trying to get through. Nothing but a busy signal. REALLY???? I will agree Stan is a very nice and cooperative person to speak with. Stan is the only positive experince I have had with this post office. Perfer any other post office over this one.

The NEW LADY MANGER OF THIS LOCATION , (wears glasses) , not only was she rude but she also started an argument with me and then said racist remarks I have never in my life been so upset. She called me out of my name more then once and she wasnt not the person helping me with my package. She then picked up my package and read my name and said MY PACKAGES WOULD NOT GO THROUGH, and she would call the postal police and get my packages checked!! All because of my race ???? I really want someone from usps to get back to me about this matter.

For YEARS Ive been shipping Poshmark orders. When an item is purchased, postage is generated and emailed within minutes, so the date on it is the date postage was PURCHSED. Ive shipped the day after for years, never had issue, but here the stupid jack wagon A hole has a problem with the date of purchase on the label! Thats not even USPS policy!!!! WHY DOES THIS POST OFFICE MAKE THEIR OWN RULES???? Ive shipped from several offices all over FL, NY, PA, NJ and NEVER EVER had a problem.

came in today 4/2/2016 not knowing they were closed at noon. Knocked and rang the bell several times because I could hear people in the background. They did nothing to acknowledge me. How can people have such poor people skills? I really do not get it? After about five attempts someone finally said were closed. I apologized and said I just wanted to drop off some packages. Their Response was, thank you have a good day - in a very sarcastic tone

This has to be one of the worst post offices in existence. I mailed out wedding invitations over a week ago and some invitations, including ones in the same zip code, are MIA. I tried calling to inquire what may be the hold up, but to no avail. The phone keeps ringing. Safe yourself the stress and go to another post office.
