When I first went to store my stuff, I did a lot of searching and comparison in person before I went with Access. Having just moved my stuff out from Access, I continue to be very satisfied with my decision to store with them. They offered me a great deal on the first three months, and even at normal price (which was laid out perfectly clearly in advance) they were a good deal. Easy to access, with a big loading dock, clean facilities--even clean bathrooms, helpful employees. It really feels like a family business. The family business part is key to me, actually. For example, when I had to have a shipment sent to them and it fell outside of our pre-discussed parameters, they were nevertheless very helpful and accommodating. They never pulled any kind of bureaucratic nonsense on me... they were just honest and helpful. And they refunded me my unused days of the month when I moved out, without being asked, whereas I think a lot of places would have made up some bogus "policy" just to keep my money. And they never raised their fees on me. Ive recommended Access to all my friends and would definitely use them again.

If you have a storage space in the lower floor and including basement area in Access Storage Please keep in mind to add an insurance on the outside for your personal belongings at Access Storage . Because when Storm Sandy hit NYC in October of 2012, it cause a lot of flooding my sisters belonging was a total lost . And Access stated they werent responsible??????? Okay, so what happened to Access Self Storage facility Insurance, Oh no, they said it was her responsibility to get an outside insurance for her belongings stored at Access Self Storage. Another thing I forgot to mention Ive been a customer at this facility for years they quote you with a low rate just to attract customers and once your in your rate continues to rise. LIARS!!!!!

The employees are helpful, so far everytime I have shown up there hasbeen plenty of room to unload the car. Just read the small print on the contract. If you are late with a payment it voids your insurance on your belongings. I found out after Sandy hit and I lost everything I owned. I was in the process of moving and stored everything there. I went to put a claim in and sure enough didnt get a dime!!!

Stored my stuff here for 3+ years. I chose Access over Manhattan Mini Storage because you get more sq footage for the price. Also, the staff is very nice from the front office to the man who operates the elevator- a real gem.
