I usually make my payments at front desk in cash and I know you guys just work till 7pm. Unfortunately R train was delayed from the city tonight but I arrived at 6.55 pm anyway, main door closed and one guy came out to explain they dont take cash payments by 7pm and just let me come in if I could pay with credit or debit card, which i appreciated anyway but when we were entering another dark skin guy in the same front desk was very rude yelling his coworker he shouldnt let me come in for paying cash.... I replied to him directly, "please relax, we have to look for solutions without yelling" ..... but he was more rude with me saying Im not the right person who I have to tell him what to do and many other horrible things...... he made me mad because it is not the way how to treat people and customers at all, ..... very disappointed with this disrespectful guy at front desk, if Ill gonna get this treatment here, it is better I will move out to other storage where people can offer respect :s. Very disappointed and scare of this guy :(

I must say, Extra Space Storage in LIC Queens is awesome. I was in the area and went in to get some information regarding Storage and it was a pleasant surprise. The staff there were very professional. At first I didnt want to look at the space because I thought I could visualize it but the gentleman insisted I take a tour. I have used storage a couple of times in the past but I was blown away as to how clean and well maintained the place was. The staff were all very friendly and the place seems very secure. The rates werent the lowest compared to other places Ive inquired but with this type of service, why not pay a little more. I will definitely use this facility to store my belongings when I am ready to do so and will also recommend to everyone I know. I will say, if youre looking for Storage this is the place you want to go. Excellent !!

Extra Space Storage on Northern and 36th Street is the greatest. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful in resolving matters that come up. Units come in various sizes and have climate control as well. Hallways are spacious and clean and the facility has great security too. Its in one of the most convenient areas of Queens, and right next to public transit, making drop offs and pick up easy and efficient. Staff always had a hello for me at the door and were always helpful. My initial unit had a column in the middle of it but the staff was accommodating in letting me switch to a room without a column. They were very helpful - even in my move out a few years later. I highly recommend this facility if youre in need of storage.

I had an interesting experience a few months ago at the old Extra Space Storage in Flatbush where I was basically forced out with only a days notice, but the staff at Extra Space in Long Island City made up for that fiasco and then some. Between Isaiah and Kevin at the LIC location they literally got me moved out of Brooklyn and into Long Island city in less than 24 hours because I had a flight to get on in the next morning after that Brooklyn fiasco. The prices are competitive but make sure you know that there is a rent increase after a while if you get the online rate - other than that the location is super secure, clean, and air conditioned, the staff is helpful. I am very pleased with my choice

The staff at the Northern Blvd. Extra Space Storage are knowlegeable, friendly and very helpful. They always go the extra mile and provide excellent customer service. My one complaint has to do with corporate policy as the units go up in price year after after year. Their prices are still comparable to others in the area but this is definitely something I find annoying and a drain on my wallet. On the plus side their hours of operation make it easier to access your belongings during the work week as compared to other local storage companies. All in all I would strongly recommend Extra Space Storage and their staff if you are looking for a 2nd home for your stuff.

I have a job that takes me out of the New York City for months at a time and have used Extra Space Storage in Long Island City twice now and plan on using them again in the future. After doing significant research, I found that Extra Storage Space has the lowest prices for the storage space that you recieve. Both times I have used their storage facility, I was met with friendly and extremely helpful service. If you are looking for either long or short term storage of any size, do yourself a favor and go with Extra Storage Space for a reliable, safe and ease-of-mind experience.

The facility is very clean, no unwanted debris. I feel confident that I as well as my items in storage are secure. The staff was conscientious of my needs and were able to offer reliable and good advice. Getting in and out is easy, my car is able to load and unload easily. There are carts available to assist in transporting your goods from your vehicle to the space. Using a secret code to get in the elevator added additional safety comfort. I would recommend using this facility to anyone needing extra space with no hassles.

I just became a customer and it was he most pleasant experience. Kevin was so efficient and polite, it took just a few minutes to go through all the paperwork and he helped to get the best available rate. He even explained all the rules not in a boring manner! When Kevin was walking me to see my new storage area and had to leave his front desk, he locked the front door. It made me very comfortable of the safety of my items in the storage - my main concern. To conclude, I was very happy I picked this storage facility.

I have been using the storage since June 2010 and have to say that by far, this facility is top notch. The service from the attendants there (David Mercado) was superb with a feeling of great hospitality. There are always available carts for moving and what is more awesome is that my storage is right in front of the elevator for ease of access and transportation. Id have to say that Ive never had any problems and the attendants are always willing to reach out and help if needed...SUPERB!!!

Tayre was an amazing help to us. I didnt think renting a storage unit could be a fun and enjoyable experienxe, but Tayre changed all that. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. We were setting up a storage space for my brother who was traveling out of the country and we all left feeling confident and comfortable knowing his stuff would be held in the responsible and caring arms of Tauren and Extra Space Storage. Id leave 6 stars if I could!!!!

Nasrin has been more than helpful from the first call in to secure the space! Jose has also been very helpful. We came to check out our space before moving day and there was a large pole in our space, nasrin quickly changed us to a different room. The facility is very clean, climate control is perfect and has everything you need onsite! This is just our first month in the space so we hope the positive experiences continue!
