Quickest way to lose your money. He will sound abrasive and really quick over the phone and in person because he does not want you asking too many questions. He doesnt have a shop so you wont find him unless you organize to meet with him in person. I went to the guy for a power jack replacement for my laptop and I barely heard from him for about 3 days after I met him and gave him my computer. A power jack for the laptop was worth about 15-30 dollars online, but is understandable why labor would be more. I had to keep calling him in order to get a follow up. When he did decide to contact me, he then told me that he replaced the power jack AND the AC Adapter for the laptop, which is the charger. I did not ask him to do that, I asked him to replace the power jack and thats it. He proceeded to tell me that after he replaced the power jack, the laptop still wouldnt turn on and he just had to get a new charger for it. That is something that he shouldve asked me about before he went out and ordered a new charger. Which by the way I didnt even get to see if the old charger was working or not, so he lied for all I knew. Getting a new charger is something I would do on my own, I never signed anything asking him to also replace the charger. He then claimed that the new charger was an additional 90 dollars and after tax and labor my total was just under 300 dollars. In the end after I got the laptop from him, I searched the model number of the new charger he gave online which I found on amazon for $6.50...Dont waste your time or money.

Our laptop was running great one night and the next day completely shut down on us due to a massive virus. Chose A Plus Repair because he offered a solution for if we have problems in the future without having to actually take it back to repair it with the hard drive image. He communicated well with what he would be doing to repair the computer. Kept us updated on his progress. Returned the computer in a timely fashion and showed us all he did to make it run better. Also added programs to defrag and run virus scans. Made a sleek mac-esque designed toolbar. He also educated us on what we can do to further protect our files and make the computer run more efficiently. I would definitely recommend A Plus if you have virus issues. His rates are affordable, and he does not do the bare minimum or give you just a quick fix. Also was willing to work within our budget but didnt skimp on his service. Very friendly and great customer service.

aplus computer rocks! at first i was really skeptical and i didnt know if i sholud just use apple to get my computer repaired but then i called them and they were wanting me to spend a crazy amound of money..i didnt like the idea of that so i called aplus computer repair after i called around and the guy came off really polite and informed and so i pulled the trigger and went with them. these guys were able to come by and pick up my macbook pro and bring it back repaired in 3 days. its had water damage and i unfortunately spilled my beer on it watching tv. aplus was able to get me a solid quote and deliver and they ended up saving me a ton of money. will use again. definitely the best apple computer repair place here in wilmington. so thankful i was able to find aplus!

these guys are awesome. i called Aplus computer repair up and i had a broken DVD drive. the drive was just hanging out of the chasis. i accidentally crushed it and broke the drive off the tray. so i called aplus up and they were able to find a very rare replacement drive for this brand new computer. they not only fixed the drive but also was able to reinstall windows 10 back on to my computer, install all the updates and basically make it turn key ready. now i can use my computer to do all my christmas shopping! yAY. Will definitely use aplus again. these guys offer the best computer repair service in wilmington nc by far. thanks so much aplus! merry christmas!

i spilled beer all over my keyboard. then the computer wouldnt turn on at all. i spilled beer on my laptop on a sunday! i didnt know what to do. called up Aplus computer repair and they were able to repair my laptop, clean and repair the motherboard and install a brand new hard drive and reinstall the oS. i had windows 8 but we went with windows 7 and it is so much faster. i cant believe the laptop has been resurrected. aplus is definitely one of the best computer repair services in wilmington nc. they also fix macbook pros and apple products and i will probably definitely use them for that when those go bad. thanks again aplus merry Christmas!

im from Montana and i didnt know who to call. i called up aplus computer repair after several attempts with other companies. i was told i needed to buy a new computer.i called APlus up and i was really not sure about them. but i told them that my computer would not work as the keyboard did not work at all. they had for a day and backed up my data and met me and returned the laptop and now it works perfecly like brand new(so far!). P.S. as a saftely precaution i photoed car license plate,contract and license because i was not able to easily find them and i dont really trust alot of people but this so far has been a very uplifting experience!

Very professional and friendly service! My computer died on a Thursday. For two frustrating nights, I tried fixing myself and finally gave up. I then called A-Plus Computer Repair on Saturday and they came out to the house for a on-site diagnosis the same day before it had to be taken to the shop. Despite needing a complete overhaul, my computer was delivered back at home by Monday evening working like a charm. All my files were backed up and my system was running better than ever. The tech, David, is not only a great computer technician, but a very personable guy. If you need computer help, I would highly recommend A-Plus Computer Repair.

Aplus computer repairs is great! The guy came out to my house at 11:00 pm to suit my schedule! I was actually amazed at the speed of the service. The company was not pushy and told me exactly what was wrong with my computer! I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to return my computer in better running order than when they picked it up! I was skeptical at first giving a guy my 2500.00 computer and 65.00 cash! but i will say that he did a great job! No make that an AMAZING JOB! Thanks a bunch Aplus! Would rather keep it local than one of those big stores that are trying to sell you everything under the sun! Thanks again!!!!!

my macbook pro would not come on at all. i got the spin wheel of death and i was super frustrated. i didnt know who to call so i called Aplus Computer Repair and these guys came over in 15 minutes and replaced my Hard drive which failed and they were also able to recover my data from the bad hard drive and get me going. now i can go back to work with all my companies files in hand to get back into the grind! will use again. definitely one of the best apple repair shops in wilmington nc. my family has a ton of apple products and if we ever have any problems we will be sure to call Aplus next time our apple computers die.
