On a recent trip back east I started experiencing issues with my laptop and a friend of mine had highly recommended the services of PC Medics On Call insisting that… hands down Cam provided the absolute best computer repair service in the area and that he fixes the problems correctly the first time without question or fail and that he firmly stands behind everything that he does and that I need to contact him. Well then!...lol Not being familiar with the area and going by my friend’s suggestion, I decided to do a google search on PC Medics On Call to see what others were saying. After reading through the many outstanding & glowing customer reviews I decided to give Cam a call and see when he could fit me in to take a look at my computer. Upon initially speaking with Cam and explaining my problems he told me that he would need to take a look at it in order to determine what was going and asked when I had in mind to do this at which time I responded “as quickly as possible”. Cam then proceeded to tell me that he was currently onsite with a client out in Porters Neck and that he wouldn’t be able to get to me for at least an hour and half but he would be willing to fit me in between clients once he was finished. To be truthful, I really wasn’t expecting that quick of a service! To this man’s credit, not even a 1hr & 20minutes later I get a call from Cam telling me that he is in transit to me and that he will be arriving in 15 minutes. Sure enough, 15 minutes later I get a knock on the door and here is Cam ready to fix my computer! From the moment that Cam arrived he was not only exceptionally polite and well-mannered but I could tell instantly that he was incredibly knowledgeable about computers and technology as a whole and that I had made the right choice choosing Cam to work on my laptop. After our introduction and me recapping what problems I was experiencing, Cam quickly went to work diagnosing my situation and informed me that I the problems I was experiencing with my computer locking up and freezing on me was the direct result of having numerous malware infections and that there was windows operating system corruption issues that were more than likely the result of the heavy malware and virus infestations that I had on my laptop and judging by the way the computer was continuously locking up I would more than likely need to backup my data and reinstall the Windows Operating system. Being a business professional that relies on my computer, I was not really prepared for this news and down time is not an option for me. I then asked Cam how long all of this would take and what would happen to my data? Cam calmly reassured me that he would have my laptop back to me in the morning and that I would not lose any of my data at all and everything would be back in the respective location and that my laptop would run better then new once he got done with it and that he provides a same day concierge service and without question or fail, I would indeed have my laptop dropped off by morning and that it will exceed my expectations once he gets done with it. I believed Cam without hesitation and provided him with the deposit that he required at which time he provided me a signed and dated invoice stating that he has taken my laptop back to the shop to perform the necessary repairs and that I had provided a deposit for the work to be performed. The very next morning I get a call from Cam stating that my laptop is all set and that it’s spinning like a top and he will be over to drop it off in an hour. From start to finish, my experience with Cam was top shelf and it’s no wonder why my friend recommended him as highly as he did and why PC Medics On Call is considered the best computer repair service in Wilmington! The best in the business! I have dealt with plenty of tangible and creditable businesses over the course of my life. But have never felt that I was respected as the customer, until now. Cam was the most professional and modest person I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I called him up, explained the nature of my problem, and badda bing badda boom, he was there the next day to pick up my laptop and go over the symptoms of my machine. I had called a couple other places in Wilmington but I was shocked at how much it would cost and how long it would take them to complete the task at hand. At the prices they were charging I was better off buying a new laptop. The price Cam gave me was fair for the work he had done to diagnose and fix the various problems that were at hand. He replaced my corrupted hard drive and reinstalled Windows and updated it to Windows 10. With other businesses, they projected that it would take at least a week and a half to even get to my laptop. As a college student, it was imperative that my laptop be fixed as soon as possible. I have Cam to thank for his knowledge and professionalism to get the job done in little over a day. The most important aspect of this transaction was that Cam never BSed me about anything that was going on with my laptop. He never spoke down to me like I was some ignorant nobody that didnt have a first clue about computers. Trust me, Ive had experiences where the salesperson, not even the tech, would talk down to me as if I wasnt capable of understanding the process of completing the job at hand. For that, Cam has my respect and I will be a loyal customer for as long as I live in Wilmington.

Ive needed and used the services of PC Medics On Call on more than one occasion and have been nothing but amazed at the quality and speed of their service. My desktop was having NUMEROUS problems that I couldnt figure out at all so I called PC Medics On Call and had someone there in about an hour. The issues were quite severe and required new parts and service in shop. I was blown away when my PC was up and running, new parts and all, in less than a day! I also got a follow up call to make sure I was satisfied and everything was running well, something that never happened before when I used other companies over the years. Completely above and beyond.... I also had a similar situation with my laptop. The screen was randomly flashing and I was worried that it was going to fail completely so I again called PC Medics and again someone was there in an hour. It was determined that the laptop needed a single piece replaced that was failing that wasnt on hand so off it went to their shop....for a whole six hours. Both my desktop and laptop have been running without a hitch since the repairs which is a testament to the quality of work done by PC Medics On Call. Combined with the speed of their service, Ill never use anybody else for my computer needs. ________________________________________________________________ This is my second posted review but Google has seems to frown multiple reviews.
