I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue which apparently that model year has transmission issues. I drive all over the northeastern U.S. for my job. There were several times after driving several hours the car would lose power. I took it to 2 dealerships, The first one told me the transmission fluid would get hot, then boil, then foam and lose all power. They changed the fluid - this was nothing more than a band aid. The second one told me there was nothing they could do short of putting in a new transmission - at my cost. In the meantime I almost got hit by two semi trucks (because of no power). I took it over to Hoffmans and discussed the situation with the owner. His first reaction was not to replace the transmission but to figure out why it was overheating. I took the car in the next day for diagnosis. I was impressed when the owner told me that he had done some research the night before and was pretty sure it was the defective cooler - which after the diagnosis it was. The only downside was that they were on back order. I just drove the car from Columbus to Newark, NJ and had no problems. Good work.

I took my Jeep in for a regular oil change and was happy that I wasnt given the usual list of items that needed repaired or replaced that other shops will give you. I had an air filter that needed replaced and windshield wipers on their way to needing replaced. I chose to take care of one, indicated Id wait on the other, and got no push back. Employees were easy to talk to and not pushy. At pick-up, I was walked out and shown an issue that was noticed on my Jeep that might cause a problem down the road and advised to contact my dealer for a repair under warranty. I appreciated that! True to another review I read, I also got Valentines candy at checkout (fun surprise) and a sincere thank you for my business. I will return to Hoffman in the future!

I wish I could give a 6th star honestly! I first went to Hoffmans because I was overdue for routine maintenance and couldnt make it to the Infiniti dealership before a long road trip. I figured it would be a one time thing - and that was several years ago. Tony and his whole crew are consummate professionals, and their work is of the utmost quality (Ive had better service with them than my previous dealership hands down). Ive had many different services done with them, and Tony and the crew make sure that everything is done as quickly as possible, with quality, for the fairest of prices. On top of that, they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I cannot encourage you enough to check them out - I promise you you will. It regret it!

I was very pleased with how friendly the staff was. Had to get my daughters exhaust fixed and told them she was on a tight budget that she went to school full time and only worked part time, they gave me two quotes one to whole replacement and one for a patch job which was cheaper for her so we went with the patch. To my surprise when I went to pick her car up the next day the had replaced the exhaust for the price of the patch job, they did not have to do this but knew they could guaranteed this replacement and not the patch job. If I need any other work done on my cars I will go to Hoffman Auto Repair first.

I contacted Hoffman for an estimate on repairs I was told needed to be done. I was able to drop my car off for Hoffman to check the next day. They contacted me and let me know that I did not need all what I had been told done, which was great. They then quoted me for what needed to be done and sent me pictures so I could see for myself what needed to be done. Once my vehicle was finished I went to pay and get my keys to also get roses. I almost cried. I was so happy with the customer service, the honesty of the employees, and the care they took of me. I will be continuing to do business with Hoffman Auto Repair!

I always take my cars to Hoffman. They are a place you can 100% trust. There is no reason to take your vehicles to the dealer after they are out of warranty. There is no way you should pay a dealer the extra money. Hoffman will do it right for less cost. I run older cars until they are done and the Hoffman staff at times has told me that it is not worth putting the money into the vehicle. That will not happen at your dealer. In the past, I have had to take my car back to a dealer multiple times to get something fixed. I do not experience this at Hoffman. Done right the first time.

The staff is very friendly and the technicians are detailed and thorough. They always seem to go above and beyond with little details that make you feel like you are a valued customer and safe as a driver. Last time I was there I left with a dozen long stem roses for my wife (Valentines Day weekend) a freshly washed car and the work they did was beyond what I expected. Im still not sure all they did but without charging me they made some adjustments so my clutch is much better and shifting smoother! Pretty happy about all that.

You cannot underestimate the value of an honest and reliable auto repair shop. Hoffman Auto Repair is just that. I depend on them to accurately assess the condition of my several vehicles, recommend repairs (prioritized if my funds are low) and then follow through efficiently. I also take advantage of any discount coupons they provide which helps with the final bill. A reliable and properly running automobile is so important these days, and thats what I get with servicing and repairs at Hoffman.

I had an extremely hard problem to troubleshoot and fix with my Nissan Murano, but Hoffman stuck with it. Ricart was unable to diagnose it and just sold me unneeded parts and labor. Hoffman was very patient, accommodating, and reassuring throughout the whole process - until the very end when they finally found the culprit issue. If it was not for them and their diligence, I probably would to have had bought a new vehicle due to this elusive issue. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hoffman.

Took my 2012 Sonic LTZ in for routine maintenance, they discovered a noise that I hadnt heard emanating from transmission. Upon their recommendation, because it had less than 26,000 miles on car, I immediately took it to dealership where it was originally purchased. I found out that whole transmission needed to be replaced. ( under warranty ) . After Hoffman Auto Repair were so up front an honest with me, I am definitely going to continue to patronize them from now on!

I visited this business to get a quote on some engine work. The gentleman I spoke to quoted me a STARTING price for the repair of over $500. I went to the Tuffy on Hill Road in Pickerington and was quoted less than $200. My total bill (including fixing a coolant leak for me) was less than $200 after tax. I DO NOT recommend anyone using this shop until you have looked around for your best option. Talk about price gouging. Shame on you Hoffman Auto Repair.
