HUGE SAFETY HAZARD!!! I took my car in for an alignment and a courtesy inspection. I already placed an order for new tires from discount tires but I had a lifetime alignment package at firestone so I took it here to get that done first. My current tires have MASSIVE sidewall cracks measuring over 1/8 inch wide around the entire circumference of both front tires and my battery terminals are completely corroded. The sidewall issues make my car completely unsafe to drive and could blow at any minute. NO mechanic should ever pass them in an inspection. However, when I got my car back today I saw that they passed every point of the inspection with flying colors and also said my car did not need an alignment. I informed the manager and showed her the tires and she couldnt believe it had passed either. If I hadnt checked my tires myself and had just gone off of this inspection, I would be DEAD OR SERIOUSLY INJURED in a highway accident. Based upon all of this, I have little faith that an alignment check was ever done or that the print out they handed me was verified. I regret my decision to get a worthless lifetime alignment and balancing package from here. Also, check your inspection reports for service tech 33, if he did your inspection, get a second opinion. UPDATE 10/13/16: Exactly 6 days after taking my car in and then telling me the tires and battery were all fine as part of their courtesy "inspection", my car does not start. The issue turned out to be that the battery corrosion was so bad it destroyed the battery cable on the positive terminal and it needed to be replaced. I realized it was bad but I didnt realize how bad it was. No thanks to my local Firestone mechanic for not doing his job and missing the chance to identify that before I got stranded.

I been taking my cars to this same location since 2010. It was overpriced but they got the job done same day. For past several years I stopped taking my cars there because of the price. In 2016 I had no choice but to take it to them because its close to my house and my mechanic was slammed with work. I took my subaru there because it had differential fluid leak. The dumb assess charged me for inspection and after said they dont have the fluid for my car which every autocrats carries 75 90 gear oil. So I said I will walk over to NAPA and get it. They said they cannot accept customer parts. How dumb is that? So I took my car ta hell out of there to GOODYEAR next door and they fixed and let me bring my own oil. Second time I came back to firestone to fix my truck a week later that had a bad coolant leak. Fire stone charged me for inspection of like $30 again and said it was a clamp that was old and caused a leak out of the hose. They claimed they fixed it. Two weeks later my truck was leaking even more than before. I called fire stone and told them why in the hell is my truck leaking coolant after they claimed they fixed it? I asked them "what kind of mechanics work there who cant fix the truck properly in the period of two days"?. They said "you know the cooling system has 17 different parts in it and can be leaking from somewhere else". It is very funny that they had the truck for 48 hours and could not check on all 17 parts of the cooling system? Common I am not stupid. I added more coolant in my truck and drove it to my best friend who is a mechanic because I dont trust Firestone anymore. I would not recommend taking your car to this place, they cannot fix simple problems.

So I went to get tires and wheels mounted, but I didnt have the key for my locking nuts on my wheels. The manager, Shannon, was super cool and called around to find one, which I really appreciated. Napa ending up bringing the right one, but it came in a kit with 20 more locking nuts. I was ok with buying the kit up until I got home and looked at my invoice. My total was $180 which I thought was mostly from mounting my 5 tires on my brand new wheels, then mounting them all on the vehicle. However I saw that they charged me $80 in parts, which was only the 20 locking nuts with the key. I did some research and found this kit is $30 at napa. They made $50 bucks off me for this, which is ridiculous. To add insult to injury they didnt even put the new nuts I paid for on, didnt even give me the option AND my step dad went to discount tires and they gave him the key for FREE. Will not be going back to firestone, I appreciate the good gesture by discount tires, even if it was a little to late. The employees were nice but whether it is store policy to mark a $30 item up by $50 or whether that was commission driven I dont know, either way Im pretty pissed. Too bad I didnt know how much they charged me for those nuts until after I had taken their post-visit survey and give them an astounding review.

Every time I go something goes wrong. Im never going back again. Dont fall for their $89.99 brake service per axle. That is just a trick to get you at the door but they dont honor it. I just had my car serviced. I wanted to use the coupon for both front and back axles, it included replacing the all pads and resurfacing the rotors. The total should be around $200 including taxes but I was charged $341 and they replaced the rear rotors but did not resurfaced the front rotors. They will always trick you to get more staff done than you need and they do what they want instead of what you need. They lost my trust and I will never go back. This also happens to the location at 8510 Orion Pl Columbus, OH 43240 where I used to go. From now on I will just avoid them period. I always end up paying more than I expected and unhappy with their service.

Very disappointed with latest service. Been there multiple times with good service. First time was about three years ago. Put on four new tires and wheels for over a thousand less than a nearby competitor. Usually good service on oil changes and other things. However, the latest time here I left my van to be serviced on a Friday afternoon, never got a call and it was left there all night. Had to call Saturday afternoon and finally got it back late Saturday evening. Had oil change, bearing replaced and front end aligned. Took it out to go somewhere afterwards and front end is not aligned and pulled right badly. Took it back Sunday (had to take off of work) to get fixed but then told their machine is down for the day. Now, need to take another day off to bring it back Monday. Very disappointed and unsure if Ill bring my business back here.

Just got back from Firestone. I had a exhaust pipe put on. When I pulled out of the store I noticed a loud noise which was not there before they installed the exhaust pipe. I returned the next day to have them take a look at it. When I returned to pick up the car, Chris, the person at the front explained to me that noise had nothing to do with what they did. I then asked him if they were going to charge me for it. He responded by saying "Did I say I was going to charge you. You shouldnt make assumptions." He then went on to say that he could have charged me, as though I was lucky he didnt. I didnt appreciate being talk to that way and will never go back again.
