Got my modem a week ago. The cable isnt active in my apartment so I couldnt hook it up. Since I chose the easy connect kit, they couldnt send a technician until today who Im still waiting on. He/she has 40 minutes. And if you ever get in this situation, dont complain to Spectrum because they will make up fake "escalation" numbers to "speed up" the process in hopes of getting a tech out sooner. Come to find out you cant "escalate" a work order for the easy connect because its a different type of work order. Had this done to me twice, two different escalations. They cancelled scheduled appointments with the tech, and I finally figured this out after getting a genuine customer rep telling me the truth. Dont take a ticket number for this. Just call and schedule a tech, and wait. Terrible!!! TL:DR MAKE SURE YOUR CABLE HOOKUPS ARE ACTIVE IF YOU CHOSE TO PICK THE EASY SET UP/DIY. I would suggest having them install it all for you to be safe you are unsure.

I really cant say anything positive about Time Warner Cable. Theres always a wait at the office. Frequent interruptions of service although the cost of basic internet goes up, up, and up. And although TWC will deny throttling speeds you will notice a real increase in load times and buffering when using certain applications. they Telephone and online techs are entry-level and not knowledgeable. 99% of their advice is resetting the modem and calling a service technician to come to your home. Service techs never show up on time although given HUGE windows to show up on time. Unfortunately, service providers are limited for broadband access. With a lack of competition in the area they can pretty much set the standards for service.

I am a business owner, and pay for business internet and phones. I have to reset my modem and router almost daily to have internet at my office. Since Spectrum took over, they came to our house to bring in new equipment and told us that our internet speeds would be about 3 times faster and in fact they are slower and my internet goes down at home all the time, too. My neighbor is having horrible problems with her internet, too. I dont know why its so difficult to get it right and give people in this area good service!!!

I would give no stars if I could, started out with promotion and services for $89.00 a month. .Internet, phone, 200+channels. ..been a customer for over 2 years, and suddenly they are switching to Spectrum, and my bill now runs $169 a month. ..really? The phone agents dont know anything, except unplug your box and reset modem. .wtf, I can do that myself. I wish there were other cable service providers besides these guys because they are terrible!

The worst customer service ever! Continually increasing prices for current subscribers while luring in new customers with low prices for all three services phone, internet and cable. A new customer can get all 3 for around $ 100 a month, current longtime customers will pay around $200 or more a month for the exact same service, continually disconnecting your services and never giving you credit for the dates services were disconnected-stay away!!!!

my son does ecot and the school setup internet through them to get an appointment for them to come to our home and they have not came 4 times we have had appointments and still a no show terrible and then I call the customer service and they act like they have no common sense I hate spectrum.... I liked time warner better

Quite possibly the worst internet provider in the country. If there were any other in my area you couldnt pay me to use this. The connection is usually unstable and the customer service is horrible to say the least.
