STAY AWAY!!!!!! I brought my car here for a 120k major, yet routine maintenance (no real issues with it). They took over 45 days and $3k to complete it with numerous (8-10) attempts to say it was complete, only for me to arrive and find nothing but issues and leaving without it. The shop manager had told me my particular car can be difficult, and one of the mechanics I spoke to had admitted to using youtube to try to figure out a problem they created. After many ignored attempts to speak with the owner to try to find a better solution, besides continuing to have the mechanics at this location preform the work (who clearly shouldve turned me away from the beginning based on my "difficult" type of vehicle), I gave up and took the car to the dealer to see if they could undo everything these people got wrong (another $1.5K in repairs). The dealer found some very concerning issues. Less expensive parts that shouldve been replaced were not (owner states they were keeping my cost down as I requested due to a limited budget, yet I was up-sold on other much more expensive items), vacuum hoses werent hooked up or pinched off completely due to poor quality workmanship, hydraulic lines were routed incorrectly, a brake squeak was the same (brake pads were fine, wouldnt have chose to have this done if the squeak wasnt going to be resolved), old gaskets were reused and installed incorrectly completely missing a bolt hole, bolts were not tightened completely or barely threaded into place. It wasnt until I filed a complaint with BBB that I finally got a response from the owner (not a call or a meeting but through the BBB email). I eventually ended up in court to try and re-coupe the $ I had lost. This was the first time I was finally able to meet and speak with the owner. He showed up with one of the shop managers, and did nothing but lie, deny any wrong doing, interrupt, talk over, and blame/degrade me and my vehicle. I was able to score a small victory but didnt re-coupe all of it as our justice system is also somewhat flawed (a signed letter from a certified mechanic cant argue against lies told in person by a certified mechanic). I hope this owner sleeps well at night in knowing he completely screwed over a honest, hard working family just to make $3K, when he couldve simple refunded the labor $s from the very beginning and moved the car to his other shop or anywhere else to correct things and got all gold stars from me. Choosing to do business with this place has been an absolute nightmare as I am still dealing with issues costing even more $. If you still choose to do business with these people after reading this, I wish you the best of luck, you might really need it.

Terrible company, terrible customer service, terrible repair work. Hung (who I assume is the owner) cannot be spoken with. I have been unable to finish even one sentence with him, either in person or over the phone, without him cutting me off and rambling on about what he THINKS is the problem (and thats without even looking at the vehicle or giving me time to even EXPLAIN the issue at hand). On top of that, I recently discovered through two other shops that during work they did for me earlier fixing a water pump, they put on the wrong thermostat, a thermostat not even designed for my vehicle model. Because of that incorrect thermostat, I now have even more repairs to my cooling system which need to be done. Doesnt sound entirely coincidental due to the fact that replacing a thermostat with the correct model is not exactly rocket science. I suspect sabotage on their part to keep my money coming in. Please pay attention to the negative reviews here, they are completely indicitive of a shoddy (and shady) repair company. When you take your vehicle in to get any repairs, you shouldnt have to be yelled at about them, and Hung has made it his pleasure every time get loud and aggressive about anything wrong with the vehicle, both in person and on the phone. On top of that, he actually had the nerve to try and charge me $40.00 for a free estimate, which I obviously refused to pay. I would suggest Bassitt Auto on Baseline over and over again, they are friendly, reasonable and do reliable work while keeping you in the loop. Hung at Canyon Auto Repair just loves to hear the sound of his own voice and really could care less what your problem is, only how he can make more money out of you and insult you in the process. I am generally a very laid back person but Hung and his company are absolutely ridiculous and borderline criminal. Avoid them like the plague if you value your car and your sanity!

First I just wanted to say that I dont have alot of money and when my car died on me I was really scared of getting ripped off I called everywhere looking for a good price. I called these folks and explained the situation, I told them that I did not have road side assistance so did not even know who to call for a tow. They did the following for me 1. Recommended a great towing company who did not rip me off 2. They Listened to what I thought the issue was with looking down on me because I did not know about cars 3. They gave me a very accurate quote, in other words they charged me exactly what they said they would for the work they did 4. During the repair they noticed another problem that needed to be fixed that made my car dangerous to drive. When they called me regarding the matter, they were not pushing in anyway they let me decide if I wanted it fixed. And again charged me exactly what they said they would for the extra repair 5. I told them I may not have the money for a few extra days and they were more than happy to hold my car for me until then 6. about two weeks after my car was repaired I had an issue with my car which was completely unrelated to the repair work being done. I called them and they told me to tightened the bolt to the terminal on the battery. The issue was fixed, they helped me instead of saying the ever popular bring back in. Only an honest shop would do that Thanks again guys I hope never to need your services again but if I do I know Ill be in good hands

I brought my car in for a simple fix. 2 hrs later I was told my car was ready. I went in and paid and they handed me back my keys. As I got on the road my car was swerving every way possible . It was dangerous to drive. I went back to them and told them that there must be a mistake and that my car hadnt had any work done to it yet, in fact it was driving fine when i brought it in. They told me that the lifted my car into the air and then realized they werent capable of working on it. Obviously i had to ask them why they had to charge me then, and they said because it takes time to pull it in and lift it up in the air (2 minutes he said), and they have a minimum charge they must charge anyone. I then asked them what they did to my car because it was driving fine before hand and they said they did nothing. I later found out from a different shop that they had proceeded to work on my car but because they didnt have the right tools they couldnt proceed. Yet they still charged me $100 even though it wasnt my fault they didnt have the right tools. I was taken advantage of , and the worst part is they couldnt even put my car back together enough for it to be safe for me to drive. The owner came out when he heard there was a problem, and after 30 seconds of hearing my story he interrupted me and told me that he had to go in the back and finish his lunch and for me to wait 30 minutes. worst car experience ever. Would never recommend to anyone.
